“Good fresh Mexican food. Ordered the Pastor Quesadilla and was not disappointed. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the portion size for the price wasn't too bad for Austin. Only downside was the tacos were missing the onions and cilantro, but had salsa to make up for it a bit. Queso dip was a great size and not too bad tasting, chips were store bought nothing special. Overall worth a try if you're in the area“

These tacos are heavier than they look they are stuffed to the max with beef n cheese, I couldn't make it to the 4th taco I was too full. LOTS of cilantro, onions, and lime on the side so you can use as much or as little as you want in each taco. A very big cup of broth you will not run out if you soak every bite. I paid about $18 for this plate including tax and tip. Probably the best taco I've had from a food truck I gotta say. There's a lot going on in every bite multiple flavors all blended together perfectly.“

“My best friend brought me to this neighborhood spot place as I love mezcals. The hostess greeted us with a smile and took us to the patio where the ambiance and interior is inviting taking you on an escape from Austin as if in another part of the world. The spirits selection is amazing. But this was just a simple night out to have an after dinner drink and a birthday dessert. What made a simple night into something extraordinary and awesome was the donning experience.

She greeted us with a warming smile and guided us through the cocktail menu. Recommending a a take on a penicillin which is my favorite go to, was served up not on the rocks and tasted amazing. She engaged great conversation with us that just felt real and genuine. She brought a piece of back home with the experience she brought to the table. Looking forward to the full dinner adventure for next time.

“I was initially drawn to this place because my husband has a Hispanic background where mine is Asian and together we share the same interest in cuisine. The interior is small, cozy and somewhat outdated. Kind of like stepping into a quaint restaurant from a different time. Some would call it a hole in the wall kind of place but the food and service are the stars of the show. The owners remind me of brothers who have been cooking from a young age. Their skill presents itself in the cuisine itself. The food came quick and freshly prepared and the flavor fusion was absolutely phenomenal. First, I enjoyed the breakfast all day “Build your own taco” where you pick three ingredients for $3.50. I chose egg, potato, & avocado. Included were a spicy green salsa and a flavorful red salsa. All ingredients were delicious and the tacos were perfection. Next, I had the Kimchi Fries with queso & fresh sliced avocado on top. The potatoes were wedges and a yummy sriracha mayo was offered on the side to dip the fries in as well. It was an explosion of delicious flavor! On another visit I ordered to-go the Kimchi Nachos without chicken and they did a great job on preparation. The chips were freshly made and very enjoyable. I also recommend the Spicy Tofu Rice Bowl. I snuck a few bites from my husband’s and it was yum yum! Overall, the portions are very good and filling.
I’m very pleased with this restaurant. It’s definitely one of my favorites.

“The best old school Tex Mex in town. Fajitas are so much better than Chuys or Maudie’s. Then there are killer items like shrimp ala mexicana with chipotle and classic lengua. Green enchiladas crush the ones from other places. Margaritas are super tasty and there’s no better staff at this family run place. It’s all very reasonably priced. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“Fantastic! The Chicken Tortilla Soup, Traditional Tex-Mex & Authentic Mexican Dinners are Out of this World! Start out with their homemade Chips n Salsa & Homemade Chips n Queso! Their combo, chicken and beef fajitas using Serrano peppers, in lieu of bell peppers, grilled tomatoes, and fresh onions the Best I’ve Ever Eaten! Also, they have fantastic breakfast tacos of all type! Y’all are missing out if y’all haven’t tried Susie’s Tacos which is way more than just tacos!
Also, they have homemade flour tortillas all week and on Saturday and Sunday they have homemade corn tortillas!
