“We stopped by at this place for a business. I was very surprised to find a beautiful place, grand hosts and delicious apple cider 😋. The place is so beautiful and is nice for a family hang out time!“

“Got a chance to try Beaux Southern Seafood and it was a delicious trip down South. The fried catfish plate came out golden and flaky, and their jumbo shrimp po’boy with remoulade sauce was perfectly balanced. Also dug into their shrimp & grits — creamy, comforting, and full of flavor.

The setting is cozy and unpretentious, which works well for this style of food. Staff were welcoming and quick to answer menu questions (especially about spice levels and daily catches). A great spot for southern seafood done right.“

That being said — tonight might have been the closest to first I’ve ever had. Chance, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, easy going, brought some of the best plates when we asked “bring us what you like/anything you think we missed” literally 12/10 would recommend. Ask for Chance, he knows his shiiiiiiii* and made our night absolutely amazing and something we will never forget!“

“The brisket was ridiculously tender, seasoned just right, and you don’t even need sauce (but the sauce is still good). Portions are generous, the sides actually hit(that mac and cheese??). Not cheap, but 100% worth it.“

“The appeal of Cass de Luz is you leave feeling like you did a nice thing for your body. However, I think they could easily improve their food. They always serve kale with the thick stems and the food is just bland. Healthy food can still have more seasoning. I wish the East location had more energy. It needs some brightness to it. Despite all this, I am a regular. It's hard to find truly healthy food in Austin.“

“We made a special trip from the DFW to visit the #1 and #2 spots. We waited in line at both locations, we arrived at L&L at 11am and sat down with our food at 12:30. Leroy and Lewis is hands down better than TM’s #1 spot. Their brisket was moist and very flavorful with a really good bark. We had their Barbacoa as our other meat option which had it own good flavor. Our side were the Frito pie and chiro-taters, both were good. We’ll definitely be back at some point to tryout more of the menu.“

(You simply don’t need to be at an omakase for 2-2.5hrs) Excellent dishes for the price point and glad to have still had time on my hands. The scallop, Wagyu, and fish bone soup were the stand out dishes for me. Would do this again and prefer it over a lot of overpriced omakases in town.“

“We visited "STELLA SAN JAC" during our Austin trip... and we had a great time. We tried several of the best and most inspiring cocktails we've ever tasted. Manager Edwin put us at ease with the best comfortable service, and every cocktail he recommended we were very impressed with. The staff saw my frazzled self as I apologetically explained and they said not to worry. They'd take care of us. I’ve been here before with my family so I knew the food was incredible but our server John’s recommendations and commitment to us having a great dining experience was what made our night. I’ve worked in upscale dining for many years and I always strive to be like him for our guests! I know I already said I wasn’t surprised by the food being good- but my boyfriend ordered the redfish (one of the more expensive dishes at $38 dollars) and was completely blown away! I never justify ordering the pricier dishes on any menu so believe me when I say this was truly worth every cent. We also had the mussels and the braised beef shoulder and loved every bite!“
