“I know everyone is putting how amazing the burgers were but even for an old-fashioned hamburger, and I've rated many, these were quite dry and flavorless. I had the bacon cheeseburger with everything on it. Kids did love the fries. Just being honest, because what else is a review for, right?. However, the service was very quick, especially given how busy it seemed to constantly be. They had great sweet tea and the butterscotch shake hit the spot on a hot day. As for the atmosphere? I like how it hasn't changed much in 80 years so nostalgia is always a win for me and the prices weren't bad if compared to Whataburger up the way.“

“Chose the Salty Sow for my birthday dinner. We were late due to traffic and they held our table for us and greeted me with a “happy birthday” and a signed card at the table! Everything was delicious! We started with Duck fries and a Blood Orange margarita. They were so good we ordered a second serving. These are some of our favorites, although they have many apps that are worth enjoying. Moved on from there to a Beet salad and catfish taco. My hubby had an Italian chopped salad and a pork belly taco. We would have ordered dessert, but had other plans. We'll have to go back for dessert. Our waitress was par excellent! My only issue was the table next to us was a little loud, but we got used to it and did just fine. We'll be back!“

“We were visiting Austin from Colorado and any time I go to a new location I like to try Vietnamese food in that new location. Generally I like to get Pho, but since Austin is so hot I chose not to. I got a grilled chicken rice noodle bowl and it was delicious! My girlfriend got a Tofu rice noodle bowl and she said the tofu was seasoned incredibly well and it was the favorite food she had during our stay in Austin.“
