“I’m a very picky sushi eater, and this place truly impressed me! They offer a great variety with a large menu, fresh food, and reasonable prices. The customer service was amazing, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.
My favorites were the Golden California, Krispy Kream, and Volcano Roll all so flavorful and fresh.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience. If you’re a sushi lover, you have to try this place for their fantastic menu, fresh and delicious food, excellent service, and cleanliness. Highly recommend!“

“I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“I was concerned walking in thinking it was a to go and small place in the food was going to be mediocre at best, but I was sorely mistaken. The beef and chicken teriyaki and fried noodles is amazing. The egg rolls are great, just nothing spectacularly different , however, the grilled meat and the tereaki sauce with grilled veggies was absolutely delightful! There is no brewed tea which I missed, but water was good and filtered. The atmosphere is plain and there is no real music or background art or decal on the wall other than the logo. I will be back! Great lunch!“

“I use DoorDash and they had a couple of buy one get one free specials and decided to order. I was surprised it was open past 10:00 and decided to order. It was really good. I’m not sure I’d order full price for a delivery but a volcano roll and two California rolls if I can remember (large portions). For maybe $40 and tip. I’d order again. It came with the good soy sauce as well. I usually keep some on hand but used theirs. I would recommending getting more wasabi and ginger. I order more sauce on pizza. So I do like certain things. The pork chops were perfectly crispy, though a bit lean for my taste—I personally prefer a fattier cut. That said, it was still a great lunch, and the fried oysters were equally delicious. “I have been coming here since they opened. I usually do take out for the family. The fish is always fresh and the preparation is very consistent. My family’s preference is predominantly tuna, salmon, yellowtail, white tuna and fresh fish roles. I highly recommend In and Out Salmon, Angry Wife, Superman Burrito, Cry Baby and Candy Cane.“

“Wow, the breaded sushi is spectacular, I give it a Michelin star?. We liked it a lot. The place is small but very nice. Very good service, very clean and tidy. They have many dishes, soups, ramen, salads, etc.
The chocolate cheesecake is good because it is not cloying.

“My family loves Basil cafe! Typically Asian restaurants are not as known for their services. But every time we visit Basil cafe, we are impressed by them. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. Then it is the food. My kids love Ramens from Basil cafe, they are delicious. My husband and I love they have a large selection of food choices. I feel every time we come, we found something we love. Definitely highly recommended!“

The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you).
