“Really great breakfast place. Went two days in a row on a short trip.

Portions are very reasonable, not huge or small. Pancakes and sausage one day, bagels and lox the other.

Coffee was already kept full and the staff was great too“

“Breakfast was delicious. We live in New Braunfels and now we have a new place to take our family and friends. Customer Service was fabulous very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is wonderful, loved the train theme. We all had a great time at the restaurant.“

“Interesting, varied menu and very tasty food (I particularly recommend the chicken tortilla soup). Our server was very friendly and was very careful to note down our daughter's multiple food allergies and work with the kitchen to advise us on what she could have, which was fantastic.

One niggle is that it would be great if there were more dairy-free options on the menu - one of my daughter's allergies is to milk and she felt that her choices were very limited.“

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

“We went for our first time. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was very poor. We waited over 15 minutes for our check while the owner sat at another table chatting with someone. Food was good however the menu needs improvements. The descriptions were very vague and it didnt seem like a menu for a mexican restaurant.. And I have never been to a mexican restaurant that doesnt serve chips and salsa.“

“I was just swinging through town solo and stepped into the bar area to eat. I have been there a few times, and ALL the food is excellent. But usually when u sit in the bar area on a busy night (Friday) you are all but ignored. However, probably the best service I have ever had. Constant multiple waiters walking by asking for what you need, but not in that annoying way where you cant eat. Drinks were Johnny on the spot, everything out quickly. A most excellent establishment.“

“Came here on a dime! Was in the area didn’t want the loud bar type place for a bite. My bf and I walked in with a warm welcome. We ordered and sat down the charming place was nice and quiet. I love the ice cream parlor vibe with vintage setting with the diner seats and stadium seats. Had my heart with the little table and chairs for the littles. We were pleasantly surprised! The FOOD yum!! we definitely agreed we would be back and added to the list.“

“Nice spot in Gruene Lake Village with vegan options. We visited on the Second Saturday open so there was only a few people trickling in. The smoothies, sandwiches, and wrap we ordered were good. My wife enjoyed the mushroom soup but was disappointed with the pasta salad. We will visit again; also good to know now that they have a 15% discount for educators!“

“Best bakery that I've found so far in new Braunfels. Fantastic fresh pastries and they make their klobasneks have real sausage in them (unlike most other places that basically put a hot dog inside). Great selection and great quality, it will be my "go to" bakery in town unless word of mouth let's me know about another hidden gem“

“Typically my favorite place to get *reasonably* priced gluten free pizza. It's not cheap, but better than paying like $25 for one small gluten free pizza at Dominoes.
I would give 5 stars, BUT a few months ago I asked for cauliflower crust and was given regular crust and was sick for several weeks. I'm more vigilant now. It was an honest mistake, the girl just grabbed the wrong thing, but that could've been much worse if I had true celiac disease. Thankfully I just have a severe allergy 😅 not fun.“

“We used 2tarts for our wedding desserts and it was amazing. They were not only delicious, they made our cake tasting a special event. We worked with Erin, and she was so charming. Everyone truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and the tasting is a precious memory for me now. The actual cake was beautifully done, on-time, and tasted delicious. We had nothing but positive feedback from our guests, and many people even took selfies with the dessert table! It looked that good. Me and my husband (woo!) had a slice of the blackberry cake which was possibly the best cake I've ever had, but our "anniversary" layer, which we ate the next day, was pistachio, and that was incredibly delicious. We got a four-tier cake with different flavored layers, and individual apple pies and slices of gluten-free, vegan cake. The options were so great we almost didn't know what to pick, but we were so happy with the end result! If you are in the area and looking for your wedding cake and desserts, 2tarts is the right answer!“
