“Food was good and up to Panera standards. I had picked up my food and sat down and taken 2 bites, then they called me about my smoothie. There was no one else in the restaurant. I feel like they could have just brought it to me, but that would have been an extra thought.“

“Me and my boyfriend love coming here. This place is comfortable, the food is great and the staff is so kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend for the vibe, Daniel was our server and he absolutely made our morning. Thankyou for being so great!!“

“Okay....so WOW! I was skeptical about this place. Felt that the photos didn't look delicious enough. Oh how wrong I was! So happy we went. It was amazing! 100% kid friendly and the staff had no issues with substitutions or even bat an eye! The place is small and loud so kids don't have to be quiet. I'm surprised they don't have a Costco size restaurant because it would be packed! The food was crazy amazing and so much! My husband and I eat a lot but both of us had tons more f food left on our plate but were so full! I'd come back here hand over hand if I lived in Austin.“

“Tip: there are two baristas that have a kinda silent battle on who has the better hot chocolate. Both are god-like, so I recommend asking about that. Also, get a medium if you do want hot chocolate, the way they serve it is awesome.Other than that, the food is very homey and the atmosphere is like a really good family meetup without the anxiety.“

“A nice little corner store that is more elevated than your typical convenience store. They also make food! Ordered two sandwiches and they were big. (Sandwich descriptions can be found in my pics of the menu) Calabrian Chicken: This was so good and I would definitely get it again. Really great flavors. Chicken Bacon Ranch: Just ok compared to the Calabrian. Menu says it usually comes on a hoagie bun which would've made it better. Still decent on the panini bread but not dying to reorder this. Looking forward to trying more of their menu. :)“

“I love this place! It's a gem tucked away from downtown and never misses. I come here often with my boyfriend and our two dogs. The outside seating area is lovely and their french pastries are some of the best in Austin! We always order the kouign-amann and the quiche if they have it. The quiche changes daily but is always fluffy and has a more custard-y consistency than others. It works beautifully. We've also had the beef tartare (delicious but small), caesar (love the cured egg yolk), breakfast sandwich (yes, do it!), pastrami sandwich (generous and hits the spot), and the gnochetti (good but not one of our favorites). I want to mention the service as well! I would be careful about coming here at certain times if I was in a rush but I love the staff! I am always happy to see Brenda or Kyle! Kyle is awesome and on top of it. Brenda always comes to say hi to the dogs. I definitely recommend this place and am slowly becoming a regular.“

“The restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem for us. We ordered hakka noodle dosa (with no onions and no garlic), samsoa and Madurai Malai Dosa and all three items were very authentic tasting and delicious. I typically don't like dosas, but I sincerely enjoyed these. The owners and the team were very nice and willing to work with our restrictions even though they were very busy. Additionally, they are able to make most things vegan and/or Jain which is a blessing for us. Definitely a top restaurant on our list to go to and take family and friends now. A genuinely positive experience for us.Dietary restrictions: Vegan friendly, Jain friendly“

“This place is authentic Ethiopian cuisine. It was fresh and had great flavor. My partner and I both had the Veggie Combo, which was good. The injera was very fresh. Added bonus they have Ethiopian beer and wine! It is attached to a mart, which also sells the Ethiopian beers which was good to know.“

“They don't monkey around here. The coffee is excellent. There are stuffed monkeys everywhere and lots of monkey puns on the coffee menu. I'm not sure why they love monkeys so much but, honestly, who doesn't love monkeys? If the coffee is great, I'm good with it. We loved our drinks and we also got a breakfast taco that was very good. They've got cookies and other pastries and everything looked really good. No outside seating but plenty of indoor seating. The environment is inviting and funky. Who knew Austin had such great coffee?“

“It is located near UTA which is what. We were warmly greeted upon entering the establishment. We asked what their specialties were and he took the time to explain the flavors from their menu. We then proceded to order a 1/2 Mojo and an Iced Chai Latte which were pretty good. Plus, we had the chance to indulge in a cream cheese empanada! Thank you so much for the greeting and hospitality as I visited Austin.“

“I regularly get drinks here when I'm in the area and like Gen the best but I wish they didn't bump the music up to clubbing levels of loud. Hearing loss is both gradual and permanent I hope they'll take that into consideration.“

“Oh my. This place is good. Hubs and I were in RR, & always talked about trying this place bc it's next to my dentist office and looked good. I got a small mango smoothie and husband got a butter beer latte (seasonal drink). Both drinks were SO good! Oh and we also got a blueberry muffin and it was MOIST. Delish. Better than a lot of other big name coffee joints I've been to. Yum!“

“I had an oat milk latte and a kolache. This place is adorable, I spent the morning here and felt right at home. Lots of seating, including a couple outdoor tables.Dotty and Andrew took care of me. Dotty went above and beyond, I went outside because I felt chilly inside and she turned the temperature up for me! Out of the many bustling and busy coffee shops we have in Austin, this one is a hidden gem.Parking: The lot is in front of the shop. They had plenty of open spots!“

“This place shines with a peaceful patio, ideal for soaking up the calm atmosphere. However, the retro interior might not appeal to everyone's taste. While the coffee and food menu are both impressive, limited parking and inconspicuous signage could pose challenges for first-time visitors.“

“A bit pricy but it’s understandable with how much food they give you. Like one order is enough food for 2 people. Food taste great except the tostones were a bit underwhelming. Both times I’ve had their tostones they were cooked just a bit too long. They have a lot of dessert options. Their flan is amazing! Other than that the atmosphere is great and they’re very attentive.“

“Baked 'n Sconed is in the building I used to crank donuts out in before going to college. I remember that location fondly and was so happy to see another shop going in. Their scones are incredible, service quick, and the coffee hot and delicious. I'm partial to the cherry turnovers and won't ever pass an opportunity to pick one up. It is a small space with some tables, a sofa, and a bar to sit at. There is also a picnic table outside. I do see some folks working out of the location, but it doesn't seem you'd be able to park it there for a long time. I highly advise checking it out and getting a ham+cheese croissant!“

“I LOVE the food and coffee... when I get it. Twice now, I have ordered the marshmallow treat and it didn't get to me. The first time, it was completely missing. Today, I got a cookie instead, which I can not eat :( Other than this, I have always had great food and service.Dietary restrictions: I love that I don't get charged extra to sub GF toast. So many places charge an extra dollar or more. I understand that GF is a more expensive, but it sucks when we get upcharged over a buck for one piece of bread. Thank you for thinking of us!“

“Emerald Tavern is a dream come true for board game enthusiasts! They've got a huge library of games, delicious food, and even special themed menus (their Lord of the Rings anniversary menu was fantastic!). Definitely reserve a table, which includes games rentals. Keep an eye on their social media for cool events like tournaments and themed game nights. A must-visit for playful fun and tasty treats!“
“The amazing man working the day I came in recently was so nice and HE WAS SLAYING. He was cutting the meat in the back, he was running the register, and he was checking on us between all of this. My friend and I came in to find ingredients we had just googled the day before to make a special dinner for their birthday. It was obvious we had no clue what we were looking for, but he was so patient and seemed excited to help us. I accidentally dropped a bag of kolo right before checking out, and I was told to leave it for him to clean up and to get a fresh bag of it. Very respectable store. They have everything you need to make most easy dishes. So much fresh injera (bread) and berbere (spice) which are staples, and now I will never run out! But when I eventually do (because this food was SO amazing), I’m coming back here.“

“We ordered food via UberEats and decided to try this spot since we never had it. We noticed the address matches Kumar's in Pflugerville so it may be a ghost kitchen. Love that concept. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and chili chicken. The chicken tikka masala states it's in a creamy sauce on the menu, but what I didn't realize is that it would have coconut cream. Not sure if it was coconut cream, but that was the flavor I tasted. It's not bad I'm just partial to it. I'm used to a more tomato base flavor. The chili chicken was good. Flavorful and spicy just like I wanted. Everything was wrapped and packaged with care.“
