I’ve been told to try Bún bò Huê (allegedly “better than Pho”) for the longest and this place somewhat confirmed it. Well, only bc I enjoy a little spice in my food and it provided just the right amount. I would’ve prefered a different cut of meat (traditionally made w/ beef shank?), but overall it was rich, savory and enjoyable. 8/10

Pas See Ew (drunken noodles with veggies and chicken) was also very delicious and hit the spot! It’s often overlooked bc of people’s obsession with Pas Thai. I loved it and will no longer order Pad Thai. 8.5/10

I also had Bánh Knot (mini shrimp pancakes) and were exceptional. Crunchy, tasty and small enough to eat in one bite. Especially wrapped around greens and dipped in the sauce. Truly obsessed with them and will go back to get these! 10/10“

“This restaurant has really good food by the night I went there they were seriously understaffed. I felt bad for the hostess/waitress/manager because she was very nice, especially for the stress she was under. “As a hardcore Vietnamese foodie, I can confidently say this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Plano. They serve dishes you almost never find in the DFW area outside of Garland or Grand Prairie—super authentic, delicious, and with portions that are huge. When my wife and I went last week, we ordered the combo bánh mì and the family meal for two. My jaw literally dropped when the food came out—I wasn’t exaggerating when I said I was shocked (and excited). The caramelized pork with egg (thịt kho), sweet and sour shrimp soup (canh chua), and chicken salad (gỏi gà) were all spot-on. Every dish was flavorful, authentic, and more than enough to feed us.

I’ve lived in Plano for almost 8 years now and remembered What the Pho back when it was inside 99 Ranch. I had no idea they had moved, and honestly, I’m a little sad I’ve been missing out all this time. The food is that good. Safe to say I’ll be coming back here regularly from now on.“

“Mom and pop great find in the area. Had lunch on Sunday. They open at 10am. They also have a vegetarian buffet for $15 per person or you can order from them menu.

They have a variety selections from rice to noodles to vermicelli bowl. Also have other stir fry as well.

This is where I go for Vietnamese nêm nướng. The bánh xèo here is crunchy thin with a decent amount of pork and shrimp too.

The down side is that this place is a to-go only food service. The bánh xèo can be reheated to crispness in an air fryer though. My mom would just buy the lettuce and herbs to eat with the bánh xèo at the market there.“

Pork Spring Rolls (2) were delicious. One of the few places that balance the amount of ingredients instead of loading it with vegetables and noodles where you don’t even get enough pork per bite. These were great!

This location served great duck Porridge for a long time. I think ownership changed after Covid.

However, I enjoyed their egg noodles soup. I’m happy they change their setup using real bowl instead of plastic one.

Great value for a quick soup noodle. I appreciate the self service method.

“I was craving some pho for lunch and this establishment is down the road from our office. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I ordered the beef pho to go and took it back to the office to eat it, so the bowl in the picture is not theirs. The pho was good, but not the best I have had. The broth was not the richest I have had. I paid for extra meat and thought that I would receive a little more meat than I did. I will go back if I don’t want to drive out of my way to go to my favorite pho establishment.“

“Com Bo luc lac (shaken Beef) was great. It comes with side of soup which is not pictured. Prepared with red onions, garlic cloves, mushrooms, and green peppers. I was not asked about the meat wellness but it was incredibly tender. If you need additional items or to pay the check, you’ll need to catch a waiter or walk to the cashier as I was not checked in on. It’s a smaller restaurant and the cashier was friendly. The bun bo hue was spicy, deep flavored broth with pork blood cubes which some places aren't giving anymore.
The grilled pork for the vermicelli and broken rice was made well, not too hard and seasoned nicely.
The egg roll was crispy but I wouldn't say it's the best I've had.

“They do one thing and do it pretty well. I got the #10 roasted pork sub and it was delicious! The meat was very tender and the sauce reminded me of the Japanese mayo in terms of consistency and taste. Cilantro and cucumber and all the veggies felt very fresh too.
