“My favorite seafood place in the Valley! I’ve tried so many places, and Los Dos Carnales hits the mark on everything. The staff and the owner are lovely! “Tonia, presented me with thier famous pozole. I am a very critical person when it comes to Pozole. It was DELICIOUS !!! Plate presentation was SUPERB, and everything I wanted, they provided !!! The service Tonia provided was PERFECT !!! I highly recommend this restaurant . Place is clean and Tv playing Mexican videos …. This is our 3rd time here, & every time we try something new. “Casa de Marisco is a staple in Weslaco. Don't let the name fool you. It isn't just seafood they serve here. But they have an awesome shrimp cocktail and the Tierra y Mar dishes are an awesome choice for those who want fried shrimp and fish while also hitting the spot for the chicken and beef fajitas. I always recommend it when asked for a good place to eat. This is my botana place. The botanita (for one) easily feeds 2 or 3. So much food. It's been a while since I've dined in but I see some familiar faces and they've always had great service. KEEP IT UP GUYS!!!“

“My husband and I went through the drive-thru and ordered two aguas frescas (piña and mango) and two nieves naturales (natural ice cream - sandia and chamoy). Everything was delicious, we were blown away with how fresh everything tasted. The ice was perfect and the service was prompt. We definitely plan on returning!“

“I've always thought LJS is a good deal. The food was good, the service was expected and the old school feel of this location gives it a 4 star. The ice machine was not working nor was there any tea available. Not big things since I was in no hurry. The outside the building needs to be cleaned up and refurbished, a fresh/clean look. Don't change the building style though.

Dietary restrictions: Many forget the LJS added to their menu awhile back. There are some Lite items if you are trying to watch your calories.

Kid-friendliness: Definitely for kids as it is a great way to try fish or other seafood. Also they still give out their pirate hats!“
