“Me and my boyfriend eat here quite often, never had a complaint till yesterday I asked my waiter if he could move the trash can away from our table cuz I could smell it and he did, then this other boy with a very bad attitude came and put it right back beside our table so my boyfriend got up and moved it his self the boy seen my boyfriend move it and came back over there with a bad attitude looking at us crazy and brought the trash can back up close to the table again so we decided to pay for our meal and leave....“

“Louisiana Fried Chicken & Seafood has the best tasting halal fried chicken and seafood in town. Baig Mohammed always helps us with our huge catering orders especially during Ramadan. He’s our go-to person when ordering iftar dinner for the masjid that we go to. He knows exactly how much we should order for that night and what everyone prefers in regards to the type of items we should order. We had ample amount of food to give to the members of masjid that came to break their fast last night. I don’t have that many pics but I did capture one pic with my niece’s toddler son holding a piece of a drumstick and enjoying every bite of it. He wasn’t letting go of it either. Thank you so much for always helping us with our catering needs every year. In Sha Allah, we will do it again next Ramadan. Btw, their fried fish and the shrimp & chicken jambalaya are really good too. Forgot that we always get it from the Richmond location on FM 1464.“

“We can go anywhere we want for a great time. The Rusty Hook will not disappoint, ever. I love the buffet, especially at lunch. The menu is fantastic, the crawlfish are amazing. “What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! The chef deserves to be recognized!!“

“Had my Moms 70th birthday lunch here this past Sunday, and reserved the private room at the recommendation of a server. Room fee was reasonable and had a great view. Our server was Michaela; she was attentive, knowledgeable, honest and friendly. She served our group well of 8 adults 5 kids; helped us cut and serve an outside cake that we brought, offered to take a pic for us, and provided prompt and attentive service. Food was delish too, and the GM even stopped in a few times to make sure things were going well. Thank you, Marais, for knocking it out of the park, we will be back.“

“We went to Tangers and after shopping, were searching for Halal food nearby and surprisingly found this.
The service is too good the guy at the counter was very receptive, took our order carefully, guided us sincerely and served us promptly.
We ordered crunchy box meal, boneless sweet and sour wings and chicken tenders.
The food was served hot and the chicken was juicy, crispy and flavorful.
There is nice outdoor seating and ample indoor seating too
We really enjoyed the Krispy Krunchy and juicy chicken“

“We only had crawfish so can't speak to the full menu since they've modernized. Crawfish were good but overpriced relative to the previous week. About $8 a pound including a potato and corn. Last time I was there a few weeks ago it was $6 a pound. Meanwhile wholesale crawfish prices fell.

Service is much better when they have the drive up option open. It was not.“
