“I love this place. The crawfish is exceptional. I love the mariachi bands. I always patron the band as much as possible. I always get an array of food like crawfish tortas and tacos. I practice my Spanish and the waitress practices her English. I took my daughter here and now she loves it as much as I do. I am planning my next visit as I write this.“

Leonard he was amazing! Super fast and made sure everything was perfect, even checked up on us to make sure everything was good. The food was so good everything tasted perfect. “O M G! When I say this is the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten....I'm nit cluckin With you!! It was absolutely perfect from the decadent Brioche bun, the rich crispy but light batter, the juicy chicken, perfectly sweet slaw and sauce with JUST the right amount of heat. When they sat it in front of me I didn't think I could eat it all it was so large.... but it was TOO PERFECT to not enjoy the entire thing. I only wish they were in Austin also. If your ANYWHERE within an hour of this place, it's worth the drive. The employees were also delightful, cheerful and appreciative. 50 STARS!!“

“This is a working man's restaurant where one is literally shoulder to shoulder on stools in a building that resembles a boat. The food is magnificent. The oysters on the half shell are spectacular as are the shrimp dishes and the gumbo. Try the catfish dinner. It's the best I've had West of Louisiana.“

“I love going to this restaurant when i’m on a budget for seafood boil. You get what you pay for a more. I love their Eazy to Peel shrimp combo along with their fries. The customer service was great as well. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the potatoes from the boil could be a hit or miss. Sometimes, it has a metallic taste but most of the times it doesn’t. Overall, great restaurant when you’re on a budget for seafood boil.“

“We enjoyed our first experience here, very nice ambience for a fine dining, delicious filet mignon steaks and our daughters love the classic Mac and cheese and the chocolate cake desserts. The price we pay is nothing compared to the very professional and wonderful service we received that I didn’t think twice giving additional tip. Did not regret celebrating my wife’s birthday here.“

The fried catfish was crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with no hint of greasiness. The fried shrimp had the perfect crunch, juicy center, and a flavor that kept me reaching for more. Sad to hear about the northwest location. Lots of great memories there. Can’t wait for the rebuild. Definitely an Htown staple.“

“Delicious food but FYI the fish sandwich I got wasn't the one I wanted . Someone told me come here and get one that is a big piece of fish idk I ended up with some snack size fish on my sandwich. I would needed about 3 of them to get full. Where they lack fish they made up for with fries. A order of fries is great for 2 people. That fish was so good I will be back for more. My husband got a double meat cheeseburger he really liked it alot. And he likes the amount of fries he received. I liked the egg roll but it could have been a little bigger. Maybe I'm just fat but the portions were a little small. I spent $20 . Im gonna go back ans try other items. The service was good. But the lobby is plain with chairs. Order to go basically. The taste of the food was on point.“
