“The seafood here is so fresh and absolutely delicious! If you order fried food be sure to order it “seasoned.” My recommendation: seafood gumbo and the Mate Plate seasoned. You choose two proteins. I like the fried catfish filets and fried shrimp with hush puppies. If you prefer, they can broil the proteins. SO GOOD!“

“Don't let the gas station next door scare you, this place is GOOD ! I love their crab cheese puffs, they're big crispy and stuffed with delicious cream cheese filling. Their noodles are smoky sautéed char , delicious n fresh I loved my veggie lomein noodles. Their chicken dishes are chunks of meat , not so much crazy breading like other places.Better than Wok1 if you’re a local.They were pretty quick I would say average time was 10mins til pickup. Lady was nice. It is dark inside though no customers when I went but they seemed busy with phone or online orders. They're delicious , def would go again for their lunch special“

“Had dim sum on a Saturday morning around 11.30am and there was no line at all. I’m more accustomed to the crazy lines at Fung’s kitchen but wanted to try this place out instead. Pleasantly surprised by the taste of most dim sum items!!! The ma lai gao did not use the right brown sugar so the color was off, but overall we liked it better than Fung’s kitchen. Would rather come back here if taste was the number one priority. Cheong fun was thinner here than at Fung’s. Beef ball and beancurd roll was way better here. Worth a try if you are a frequent Fung’s customer to determine which you like better.

They do not do pushcarts here though so that is a minus on the experience. Also, some parts of the restaurant had a weird smell.“

“We had an amazing experience at Balboa! Starting with the complimentary valet, which was quick and friendly service. The entry to the restaurant was super nice and a great photo opportunity spot. Kyrah took excellent care of us during our visit, and we loved the team style service. It felt like we had a team serving us, and they are so quick and quiet that you can continue to hold conversations and visit but someone is always near if you need anything. Kyrah took special care to "refresh" our cocktail glasses when we finished about half of our drinks, and made excellent recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing. Our table tried the fried shrimp, oysters, spicy ahi tuna roll, crab cake, Post Oak ribeye with pureed potatoes, salmon with the most delicious and unique salad, and heirloom tomatoes. The cocktails were delicious, including the Gold Rush, Rum Dum, and el Guero. The restaurant vibe is romantic but fun and sophisticated and has an open kitchen concept where you can see the food being made if you care to watch. I will most definitely be back and can confidently recommend this place to anyone!“

“My husband and I have been loyal patrons of Goode Company Seafood for years and have always enjoyed our dining experiences. Shelley, our longtime waitress, has been an integral part of those visits. She was always warm, welcoming, and attentive, knowing exactly what we liked. We were saddened to learn that she was recently let go. While we don’t know the reasons behind this decision, her absence has certainly been felt, and our dining experience hasn’t been the same without her. We truly miss her and hope she may return someday, as she brought something special to every visit.“

“I’m picky about my seafood, but the Lobster Primavera with garlic bread was absolutely delicious! It was a HUGE portion, and I barely finished half! Hubby got the Seafood gumbo with sausage (with blue crab pieces in it) and topped it off with Louisiana Hot Sauce which left him singing praises after the first bite!!! He and my daughter shared 2 lbs. of crawfish, and she also got the crab and shrimp pasta-which she took home most of it since there was so much! Definitely another visit is being planned, as we drove over an hour to eat there! Summary- Absolutely one of the best seafood places we’ve been to with the sweetest waitress and her parents checking on us several times to see if we needed anything else! “I got one of their specials with two different kababs (Jujeh and Koobideh) with their salad (instead of rice). The meat was terrific and that's worth five stars. But the salad was very disappointing: most of was shredded iceberg (cheap & tasteless) lettuce with a couple of small slices of tomato and a couple of even smaller slices of carrots. That was it. I've had much better salads at other Persian restaurants, or really any other restaurant for that matter. So, I'll take off one star because the side item was so disappointing.“

“Excellent addition to Halal options. Owner’s name is Jay and he’s not a revert yet but he used to work with Pakistani, Middle Eastern and he knows where to get the Halal meat and chicken from. He’s a very sweet and humble gentlemen. We had fresh fried chicken, it was super delicious, great quantity, comes with sides. We also ordered Shrimp Alfredo which was mouthwatering as well. It’s a small place for dine in but very clean. The street outside the restaurant is under construction so it gets a little messy, once construction is complete then it will look much better.
