“The appeal of Cass de Luz is you leave feeling like you did a nice thing for your body. However, I think they could easily improve their food. They always serve kale with the thick stems and the food is just bland. Healthy food can still have more seasoning. I wish the East location had more energy. It needs some brightness to it. Despite all this, I am a regular. It's hard to find truly healthy food in Austin.“

“Tonight, my husband and I tried Uchiko for the first time. We had the Okamase. Everything was absolutely delicious. They put so much creativity and detail in every dish. We had a wonderful waitress. I would definitely recommend it.“

“Came here with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and we were blown away by the service. I’ve been here before with my family so I knew the food was incredible but our server John’s recommendations and commitment to us having a great dining experience was what made our night. I’ve worked in upscale dining for many years and I always strive to be like him for our guests! I know I already said I wasn’t surprised by the food being good- but my boyfriend ordered the redfish (one of the more expensive dishes at $38 dollars) and was completely blown away! I never justify ordering the pricier dishes on any menu so believe me when I say this was truly worth every cent. We also had the mussels and the braised beef shoulder and loved every bite!“

Just like you can't rush a good smoke, you shouldn't rush a customer and the guys behind the counter helped each customer with patience, laughter and knowledge. We got it all!! First time in Austin and first BBQ in Texas so we wanted a baseline to compare all other to! At this time, it's gonna be rough for anybody to compare, everything we ate was solid!! The Beef Rib is melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, perfect meat fat ratio, smokey delicious goodness and completely stole the show! The other meats are great with that tender smoked goodness but the beef rib is where it's at! We tried three sides as well and the Mexican Corn is off the chain delicious! Smokey, spicey, creamy and addicting! Black's has been doing this for 90 years and it shows, everything was the best! We'll be back and highly recommend you skip the lines at the other places and head over to The Original Blacks!“

“Place is great! It’s consistent with the service, food and atmosphere. Every single family and friend we’ve gathered with absolutely LOVES this restaurant. We have been coming here for years and the tourists that feel it’s a “tourist trap” need to understand what type of restaurant they are walking into- local, great food, service and family owned. Knockout martini is amazing, Bob Armstrong dip is unbeatable. The burritos and beef fajitas are the best by far. We will continue to support Austin’s favorite Tex mex restaurant and clearly the people that matter will too.“

“El Alma is simply a perfect choice for sharing the austin vibe with out-of-town guests or a friendly happy hour with locals. The staff are super informed about the dishes and are ready with recommendations. Bella was delightful and obviously a veteran server. The outdoor patio has a great view and is ready for hot or cold weather so is pleasant all the time, definitely ask for patio whenever available. And the food! Each dish is delicious but always listen to the current special as that’s always a solid choice. My most recent visit was large shrimp with a fruit salsa and chips. So delicious. The sauces make all the difference and take you right to Mexico.“

NO ambience mid service (saw waitress maybe 2x she disappeared often. Wtf did i pay for?? food was NO BETTER than Dennys or IHOP I promise you!!! $22 for 3 paper thin pancakes is crazy. I don't get to do brunch often. I want my money back. this sucked and I HIGHLY don't recommend it. no atmosphere. why would yall do that work at 1pm on a Saturday??? TRULY smelled like sewage. never coming back seriously don't go. no wonder we walked in with no reservation. I think they have fake reviews too.“

“I always look for good quality Pu'erhs and found a few at Zhi Tea. Even better was that I could prepare my tea Gong Fu style, which improves the experience. The team is fantastic and there is such a peaceful atmosphere there. I know where to go when I'm in Austin, Zhi Tea. I also know where to order one of my favorite Pu'erh in the US!“
