“The appeal of Cass de Luz is you leave feeling like you did a nice thing for your body. However, I think they could easily improve their food. They always serve kale with the thick stems and the food is just bland. Healthy food can still have more seasoning. I wish the East location had more energy. It needs some brightness to it. Despite all this, I am a regular. It's hard to find truly healthy food in Austin.“

“1 of 6 who showed up just over an hour before closing on a Friday. We’re sat very quickly and within 15mins of waters, Jose arrived for our order. 2 apps, whipped ricotta which was a pleasant palette starter, nice herbaceous taste & deviled eggs which were fine nothing special. 3 ordered the fried🍗,1🍔,1 🐠,1 🥩.
Our burger was overcooked and dry. No pink, no juiciness. The fried chicken had a good flavor and crunch however it was a bit too wet and messy for my liking. 1app, 2 entrees $60
Tight seating, loud environment, sharp corners, 2 unisex 🚽. The best part of our experience was Jose. He was so patient with our table and attentive after ordering. Knowledgeable about the menu and gave good recs for the alcs. We stayed a bit late but he never once made us feel rushed. If we return, it’ll be for that same service.“

“From the patient staff to the patient person smoking the meat, this place does everything right!! Just like you can't rush a good smoke, you shouldn't rush a customer and the guys behind the counter helped each customer with patience, laughter and knowledge. We got it all!! First time in Austin and first BBQ in Texas so we wanted a baseline to compare all other to! At this time, it's gonna be rough for anybody to compare, everything we ate was solid!! The Beef Rib is melt in your mouth, fall off the bone, perfect meat fat ratio, smokey delicious goodness and completely stole the show! The other meats are great with that tender smoked goodness but the beef rib is where it's at! We tried three sides as well and the Mexican Corn is off the chain delicious! Smokey, spicey, creamy and addicting! Black's has been doing this for 90 years and it shows, everything was the best! We'll be back and highly recommend you skip the lines at the other places and head over to The Original Blacks!“

“Place is great! It’s consistent with the service, food and atmosphere. Every single family and friend we’ve gathered with absolutely LOVES this restaurant. We have been coming here for years and the tourists that feel it’s a “tourist trap” need to understand what type of restaurant they are walking into- local, great food, service and family owned. Knockout martini is amazing, Bob Armstrong dip is unbeatable. The burritos and beef fajitas are the best by far. We will continue to support Austin’s favorite Tex mex restaurant and clearly the people that matter will too.“

“We rented out Hillside Farmacy for our wedding reception and had such a beautiful night! The restaurant is (obviously) so beautiful on its own that we didn’t need to bring much of our own decor, but the staff were amazing about helping us put our own little touches on the space.
During the reception the staff were so organized and kind that my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the evening knowing they had the event logistics down.
Our guests were raving about the food and I was particularly pleased with how nicely all of the food and drinks were presented. We were so pleased with it all and would/will return for our next event needs. Thank you, Hillside!“

“I always look for good quality Pu'erhs and found a few at Zhi Tea. Even better was that I could prepare my tea Gong Fu style, which improves the experience. The team is fantastic and there is such a peaceful atmosphere there. I know where to go when I'm in Austin, Zhi Tea. I also know where to order one of my favorite Pu'erh in the US!“

“Food is not worth the price. drinks are small and weak and overpriced. 2/7 Saturday 1pm brunch they were cleaning something at the bar that smelled DISGUSTING like sewage. loud shop vac. for $60 i got 3 boring pancakes, a side of lazy home fries, ans 2 very weak drinks at $15 each!!!! NO ambience mid service (saw waitress maybe 2x she disappeared often. Wtf did i pay for?? food was NO BETTER than Dennys or IHOP I promise you!!! $22 for 3 paper thin pancakes is crazy. I don't get to do brunch often. I want my money back. this sucked and I HIGHLY don't recommend it. no atmosphere. why would yall do that work at 1pm on a Saturday??? TRULY smelled like sewage. never coming back seriously don't go. no wonder we walked in with no reservation. I think they have fake reviews too.“
