“Went there twice. I tried the Ono fish bowl and the Lani vegetarian bowl since I didn't like the Ono bowl and wanted to give the restaurant another chance. Food was ok. Maybe I'm just not a fan of Poke bowls. I also tried the taro tea with boba and it was too sweet, the flavor was not balanced, and the boba texture was off. The mochi was really good, but it was pre-packaged.“

“You can tell a great restaurant from a good restaurant from how the staff handles a mistake. And this place is A++!! There was a small mistake on my order, and the waiter noticed right away and did everything in his power to make it right. Then the manager came over, apologized, and comped dessert. The staff's kindness, accountability, and attention to detail was amazing and my boyfriend and I will definitely be back!!“

That being said — tonight might have been the closest to first I’ve ever had. Chance, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, easy going, brought some of the best plates when we asked “bring us what you like/anything you think we missed” literally 12/10 would recommend. The super-star if the evening was the silky and sumptuous king crab custard, but even the bread and butter lead to whipping out phones for photos and sighing with contentment after first bites. Staff are friendly and seem to really enjoy providing the best possible experience. The setting is gorgeous--dark green Art Deco sexiness!--and quiet enough for real conversation even with a full house, which is the rarest thing nowadays! The Cafe Brulot experience was a showstopper and we were so glad we discovered and reserved it through OpenTable. Have been before and will go again - this is the perfect place to celebrate something special.“

Loved to see several folks hanging out and quietly reading books. The food is nicely cooked and very mildly seasoned, which makes sense. But if you're selling Mexican food, how do you have NO salsas, peppers, or hot sauces?? Yet the tables have soy sauce and a nutritional yeast shaker? Like who made this decision lmao.“

“We made a special trip from the DFW to visit the #1 and #2 spots. We waited in line at both locations, we arrived at L&L at 11am and sat down with our food at 12:30. Leroy and Lewis is hands down better than TM’s #1 spot. Their brisket was moist and very flavorful with a really good bark. We had their Barbacoa as our other meat option which had it own good flavor. Our side were the Frito pie and chiro-taters, both were good. We’ll definitely be back at some point to tryout more of the menu.“

“Acre 41 in the Marriott Autograph Otis is a gem in Austin Texas. With a premier bartender who makes exquisite drinks of his own design to classics is an adventure. The food and ambience of the restaurant is high quality with unique dishes. We had the 14 oz New York Strip with sides of charred carrots and twice baked potato. We also had the wedge salad that could be a meal itself. GOOD food!“

(You simply don’t need to be at an omakase for 2-2.5hrs) Excellent dishes for the price point and glad to have still had time on my hands. The scallop, Wagyu, and fish bone soup were the stand out dishes for me. Would do this again and prefer it over a lot of overpriced omakases in town.“

“This place was excellent! I had a boozy salted caramel Iced coffee that was amazing.The cinnamon roll french toast was delicious with fresh fruit and an ooey gooey drizzle. The Floridian omelette was rich and full of flavor. The grits were so creamy, I requested some cheese on top but it honestly didn't need any. the Bacqueza Omelette was savory and smokey with just enough spice and creaminess from the cream cheese. Our server Isaiah was polite and provided us great service. The only issue we had was how rude and uninterested the hostess was.“
