“We had our wedding reception dinner at Del Frisco’s in The Woodlands yesterday (5/20) with 26 of our closest family and friends, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was classy yet comfortable, and the service was top-tier. Our servers, Delaney and Christian, were incredible—Delaney brought the perfect touch of humor and kindness, and Christian was so polite and attentive. The bar staff made sure every drink was spot-on, and the kitchen knocked it out of the park with every single meal. Not one person in our party of 26 left unsatisfied. Special thanks to Gus, the GM, who helped us coordinate everything ahead of time and made sure all the details came together seamlessly. It was truly a magical evening for my husband and me, and it wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing team at Del Frisco’s. Highly, highly recommend for any special occasion!“

The service from Alison and others which in the past has also included Justin and always includes greetings from the kitchen…Clarence and staff are the absolute best at getting the best flavors out of the featured items! The dirty martinis with mixed plain and blue cheese olives is my “go-to” yet my SIL had a sweet cranberry one that wow if you like a martini with a splash of cranberry then go for it. We were celebrating my 45th bday and Kirby’s didn’t disappoint! We started with the stuffed shrimp (bar menu) and mostly eaten in the pic because I forgot to take a pic b4hand with this amazing b something sauce (kinda lemony wine cream) yum! Then fried pickles with yet another yummy sauce. And of course the tender grilled lamb chops (HH menu) (yup you got it another amazing sauce), baked herb Boursin cheese (HH menu-fresh roasted garlic cloves - only order on a 2nd date or up or you may turn your date away with your breath haha) delicious! Soy sauced sliced beef (bar menu) I think with a chimachuri sauce that’s great; meat so tender and buttery! Steakhouse sliders (bar menu but had ordered the French dip sliders but didn’t disappoint) very flavorful and fries cooked perfectly as well as raw oysters where I mixed the cocktail with the pesto EVOO or whatever with extra horseradish that again was Amazing! And fresh bread with plenty of butter to soak up any of the sauces mentioned above just because they were all so good! Ending with the bourbon pecan pie with a great flavored ice cream that we all shared a bite (or 2!). The lighting at first was dark yet naturally lit since the sun was still up at 5 but by the time we left around 6:30pm it was darker, it could have been lighter but I guess if we had kept our candlesa d not “shoo’d them away it would have been lighter) but we ordered so much food for our party of 6 we needed the table room. However still a 5 star experience!“

“Went here for a business lunch recently. There were about 9 of us, so they seated us on the lower area near the kitchen. Service was good, and Peyton was friendly and helpful - even helped take a group picture for us. I had the chicken tenders with garlic parm fries. It was really good - very flavorful and crispy. If I have to complain about anything it would be the noise and the parking (not their fault). With the music and TV's and noise from the kitchen it was a little hard to hear. So overall a very good experience and I'd have no problem visiting again when I have the opportunity. Cheers!“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL "OG" CHEF CHAN'S!!! Give them all your money, and tell them that Anthony says, "Hi!" The desserts are a good size & not that pricey. They even have dog treats for your fur babies. The customer service is welcoming & helpful. They do have seating inside & outside, but it’s a small space so it’s limited; so is the parking since it’s right next to Morton’s Grille. The bathrooms were very clean as well. This has turned into one of our favorite dessert shops!“

“I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for three years now, and I just had to take a moment to compliment the staff. They are consistently friendly, welcoming, and make every visit enjoyable. I come here every morning, without fail (and yes, that’s over 1,000 visits!), and the level of customer service has never wavered. I want to give a special shoutout to Cheryl—she is absolutely fantastic! Not only is she super friendly, but she also goes out of her way to remember customers’ names and orders. She’s made my mornings so much better, and I’m sure many others would say the same.

This Starbucks is a popular spot for people who like to work, so if that’s your plan, I recommend getting here early to snag a good seat. It can get crowded, especially in the mornings, and occasionally there’s a run club that fills up the space (about once a month). If you want to avoid the crowds and have a quieter place to work, try arriving before 9am.

As for the food, I highly recommend the egg white bites and their bagels. They recently updated the bagel recipe, and it’s super fluffy and delicious. It’s a small change that really makes a big difference!“

While the hibachi dishes left much to be desired – with fishy-tasting soup, mediocre fried rice, and average steak – the sushi, particularly the fish's size and quality, earned high praise from my husband, a Tokyo native. Yet, inconsistencies in rice texture across rolls and the unappetizing presentation of rice spilling from the sides marred the sushi experience. The restaurant's ambiance was undeniably beautiful, but the unsightly vents on the ceiling detracted from its overall appeal. Moreover, our encounter with the manager, Kristie, soured the experience further. Despite making a reservation, navigating the nuances of hibachi dining on OpenTable proved challenging, leading to an unpleasant interaction with Kristie upon arrival. Her demeanor lacked hospitality, and her approach to handling reservations felt unwelcoming and unnecessary. Despite these setbacks, the allure of high-quality sushi draws us back, albeit to the alternative location to bypass any potential encounters with Kristie. Sakekawa may have its flaws, but for sushi aficionados seeking top-notch fish, it remains a contender in The Woodlands’ sushi scene.“

Dietary restrictions: Some items contain egg, soy, wheat, dairy, etc but there are many options which contain none of these.

Parking: Lots of spaces available with several under tree cover & all spots are numerous yet very close to the building by virtue of most people in the shopping center staying a fairly short time.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly, solid spot for anyone to hang out, & the design is impressively tailored to everybody & nobody in particular at the same time
