“This is a simple, no nonsense Houston eatery that is clean, comfortable and a notch above average on every front. For example, the napkins they give you are thick and unfold to cover your hand and face wiping needs.

I only had the burger but I can confidently say that the burger I got was one of the best burgers I've ever had in Texas. As a lifelong Texan, that's kind of a big deal.

If what you need is good food at a fair price, this is an excellent choice. Just for your information, I ordered this burger with grilled onions, I asked them to melt the cheese and a toast the bun.“

“Dietary restrictions: In trying to eat healthy before my daughter's wedding - the servers accommodated me perfectly. I had a spinach scramble with a side of asparagus and one slice of bacon every morning with black coffee for three days. The morning after the wedding I actually had the same but splurged and had an amazing green apple smoothie. As I was enjoying it, I noticed a man in a white jacket watching me rave about the smoothie. It was the chef! He came to our table and chatted for a while then returned with a sampling of Bread Pudding French Toast with Strawberry puree and a delicious cream sauce. So great! I felt so spoiled and I was. I only wish I could share the pictures I took.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. “I come here regularly (almost weekly) and really enjoy the space and their drinks! Sometimes I get matcha which is really nice and not sickly sweet, other times I get a hot latte with honey and cinnamon. Their service is great, particularly the taller guy with glasses and I love that they make their syrups in house. It’s almost always busy from what I’ve seen, but I’ve never had an issue finding a seat to do my work from there. Would appreciate if they bought the hot drinks over to your table (when they’re not busy of course)- that level of customer service goes along way!“

“I’ve been coming to this Starbucks for three years now, and I just had to take a moment to compliment the staff. They are consistently friendly, welcoming, and make every visit enjoyable. I come here every morning, without fail (and yes, that’s over 1,000 visits!), and the level of customer service has never wavered. I want to give a special shoutout to Cheryl—she is absolutely fantastic! Not only is she super friendly, but she also goes out of her way to remember customers’ names and orders. She’s made my mornings so much better, and I’m sure many others would say the same.

This Starbucks is a popular spot for people who like to work, so if that’s your plan, I recommend getting here early to snag a good seat. It can get crowded, especially in the mornings, and occasionally there’s a run club that fills up the space (about once a month). If you want to avoid the crowds and have a quieter place to work, try arriving before 9am.

As for the food, I highly recommend the egg white bites and their bagels. They recently updated the bagel recipe, and it’s super fluffy and delicious. It’s a small change that really makes a big difference!“

Parking: Lots of spaces available with several under tree cover & all spots are numerous yet very close to the building by virtue of most people in the shopping center staying a fairly short time.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly, solid spot for anyone to hang out, & the design is impressively tailored to everybody & nobody in particular at the same time

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible by multiple curbside ramps & no hump at the door. A wide floorspace allows for ease of movement.“
