“Great craft distillery. Not so big as to be full of themselves, but just at the pivotal point of growth or retraction. Their spirits are top notch, especially the bourbon. I’m not a fan of flavored whiskies, so I didn’t try those. The smoked single batch just tasted like it has liquid smoke added, nothing like the peat of a good scotch. Still, the facility is very cozy, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and we even made some new friends. You’re bound to as well. Go raise a glass ?“

“I had a wonderful time touring and tasting here! I learned about their brand after relocating to the DFW area a few months before the pandemic in late 2019. Their Brown Sugar Pecan blend, my favorite, is sold locally and I had to find out more about how it's made. I finally took my best friend on the tour and learned that they make not only bourbon and whisky but vodka and gin here! The tasting room is intimate and opulent and the cocktails are phenomenal! The added bonus was the small desserts they offered! I had the Salted Caramel Cheesecake with my pecan bourbon, and took a key lime slice and a few extra bottles for the road! I will definitely be returning! I highly recommend treating yourself to an experience here!“

“This little swanky lounge is a hidden gem. The owner was the only one working, which he tended to all the patrons with quick service and made delicious drinks. The music jazz music that was playing added a chill vibe and was the perfect volume for people to enjoy conversations with each other. They don't serve food, but you are more than welcome to bring your own or have a food delivery service bring it to you. I opted to go to Zalata Pizza in the 7th St. District and bring a pizza to eat while enjoying cocktails. It will definitely be a place I'll visit again when they have live music on weekends.“

“The food was excellent. I had the surf and turf, which is their filet mignon and lobster tail. My husband had the fish and chips. We both got Caesar salads, and lobster Mac n cheese as sides. We also got to meet Mr. Bonnell, the chef, himself. They have a lot more wine choices there than you'd expect. It was a great night. The only critique I have is that there was not enough pieces of lobster in the lobster Mac n cheese. We had to hunt to see or find them. I'm sure we will be back.“

“We tried to visit here a few times, but Leelas was closed for a private event. Time passed and we tried again on a Sunday afternoon. The ambiance was really nice with Holiday decorations. Service was very friendly and attentive even though the staff was lean. I tried a good Grenache- Syrah blend. We split a Supreme Pizza, very good, and each had a small salad. A variety of wines and seasonal mixed drinks. Limited menu choices. All was good, I will return.“

“Just discovered this place. My only complaint is if you want a nonalcoholic drink for someone, I think you need to specify it needs to be from the kiddo menu. Otherwise, 7 stars out of 5. The person at the window is nice. The drinks are killer. The value is definitely there. Go back, again, and again.“

The prohibition store front with the bookstore is really cool. But the bookstore is a good spot with the bar and lounge chairs plus coaches. The cigar lounge is perfect for stoking, drinks, and maybe playing cards. It's got a real Harlem gangster vibe, too. They make specialty drinks with fire, wood and such. Check them out!“

“First time dining here. Ordered the guacamole and it was very delicious. It comes with pepitas as a garnish on top. So, if you have a nut allergy, make sure to request no pepitas.The green and red salsas are very tasty. The green salsa has a little kick, but great flavor. My entree was the rojo cheese enchiladas, which comes with rice and beans. The rojo sauce has a great flavor as well. I was so hungry, I forgot to take photos to post.The staff was very friendly and checked on us quite often, and the timing of serving our food was just right. Great atmosphere and interior decor. Chips were homemade like pita chips. We got the El Senior and mixed fajitas shrimp and beef. We ended with the flan. Tortillas were homemade, big plus. She ordered the Kiwi to My Heart tequila cocktail, and I ordered the Cherry on Top rye whiskey cocktail. She chose the Bacon Wrapped Quail, and I chose the 12 oz filet mignon. The drinks were unique and delicious, and the meals were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Summer was our server, and her attitude and energy were both amazing. I recommend reserving a table around sunset because the view you can get from the 12th floor patio is a serious Ft Worth secret gem. The restaurant is located in the Frost Bank high rise on 6th street. To get to Branch and Bird, use the Frost Bank main entrance. Head to the elevators and find the touch screen to select "Branch and Bird." The restaurant entrance is straight off of the elevator from there. 10/10 would recommend.“

Elotes were good, I wish they had dumped some chile powder or tajin in there to really set it off. Guys with me raved about their CA burritos. The service is always fairly quick. When in the downtown FW area, we try to make a stop here. Try the chorizo in a quesadilla.“

If you get a group drink, they'll play a short cartoon on the wall with a story that goes along with the drink theme.
