“The food was fair and the restaurant was clean. The bathroom smelled SO BAD like sewer. I thought I was gonna puke from the smell. The service was S-L-O-W. There was ground meat mixed in the beans, like it was stuck to the utensil or had been dropped into the service container which nearly sent my texture sensitive eater over the edge. There are so few of these restaurants anymore I hate to leave an actual truthful review.“

“Even though this Tommy Tamale is a branch of the main location in Grapevine, they do a fantastic job.

The food is great and the service is chill for the fast dining experience that it is. The atmosphere in this location is cozy, but for some it might be a bit too cozy and borderline claustrophobic.

We got take-out for a get together and the food held up great over the time it took me to get to the house. Definitely recommend Tommy Tamale!“

OMG!! My waitress Julia was à beautiful young lady as SWEET as could be. the food was great. To say it was Much better service & Atmosphere. “First time here and so glad we decided to try it. It was Sunday night so it not crowded. We got to pick where we wanted to sit. Our waiter, JD, could not have been more helpful & pleasant. He explained how they were modifying the menu some and looking for some feedback for some upcoming changes. Hubby had the Ensenada and literally devoured it. JD told him about the chili topping as an option so my husband went for it and loved it. “Best he’s ever had”…his words. The taco was perfectly crisp (only way he likes his tacos) and the flauta was light and tasty. He also went on about how good his Michelada was too. Whatever mix they use is perfect. Hubby rarely raves but tonight he did. I had the Spinach & Mushroom enchiladas but didn’t read they had sour cream sauce (not a fan) but the dish was really good. Next time I’ll check to see if I can change that. The Salas are all very good and flavorful. The beer is super cold with a touch of ice crystals! After our meal JD told us about their decision to offer charro beans and gave us a sample. I plan to order these every time…they are oh-so-good! It was the first time here but sure won’t be the last!
