“So love the food here that I meet friends once a week to have lunch. The rotating menu to include seasonal foods makes the regular attendance a pleasure. The offering of high quality vegetable dishes also is a plus. I prefer to eat healthy, nutritious foods so Flower Child is high on my list. Also, prefer the "order at the counter" business model. Sometimes, I even order online and the meal is waiting for me. The only downside to this estalbishment is the LOUD MUSIC. I do not understand why they have to blast music in the dining room--especially when the dining room is full and people are struggling to hear one another. I eat outdoors when there are tables but these go fast. I recommend that you go to this place on off hours, sit outside, and eat healthy.“

“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

grace allowed me a sample of the cold brew. to me, had a little bit of a funky tang but once a little half & half was added it mellowed out into a rich enjoyable robust fruity flavor.

i’ve read a lot about their story and origin of beans and have always been intrigued and the flavors are complex. the coffee itself holds a story, something greater than what was in my cup welcomed me.

i had a brown sugar miso oat milk latte which was recommended by grace ? when i got it, raquel made me aware that the top was like a marshmallow foam and yes, it was! slightly powdery sweet and creamy topped the latte very well. the overall flavor was so mild, just enough brown sugar and a buttery slightly shy of salty — umami lite.

“I've been thinking about how to write this review since last night, when I visited Bouldin Creek Cafe for dinner after a long day of travel.
Normally I don't have to think very hard, but this place definitely has me searching for new adjectives to describe just how unbelievably good my food was.
Let me just keep it simple. The breakfast tacos contained tofu scramble that I will never forget. I'm going to tell my kids about this tofu scramble. If I ever become a professor, I'm going to teach a class about this tofu scramble. It was the most incredible application of flavor to taste buds I think I've ever had.
The staff were also extremely kind, knowledgeable, and very willing to tolerate my menu-indecision ?.
Even the other customers were kind and friendly. That isn't normally something you can really credit to the establishment, but I have no doubt that the quality of food and the general atmosphere of the cafe had at least something to do with attracting such nice people.
I don't care if you are vegan, vegetarian, omnivorous, or have never eaten a vegetable in your life. You owe it to yourself to come and eat here.
