“Cafe rio is a chain and is good Americanized Mexican food. They make tortillas fresh and melt the cheese on the tacos. I get 2 tacos ala cart. Get the salsa fresca on the side. It keeps the taco from getting too soggy. My favorite is the grilled chicken, but the sweet pork is by far the most popular. The burritos there are served on a plate and meant to eat with a fork. Not wrapped in foil para los manos. The line can get long and the order process is a bit slow. Good overall.“

Always good food, warm pleasant people and just a comfortable place to be. We found that at El Gallo Giro. No corporate rubber chicken sandwiches here. Drop by for a fine meal and a touch of Mexico. “These al pastor tacos are incredible! The pineapple is always so fresh and the corn tortillas are on a whole other level. I tried the taco with cheese today and it was life changing!! Their tacos and meat are gluten free. Their quesadillas are massive and could easily feed 2 children maybe even 3. My picky eaters love the food here. And they have apple beer on fountain which is another favorite.“

Menu is simple but sometimes that all you need right? I got the gringa combo, which has 3 tacos (al pastor, chicken and asada) with a drink and my husband got an asada burrito with a side of rice. I also got a slice of strawberry tres leches cake which was stellar! Every single bite was lovely; everything was flavored so well and was fresh!
