“This place is a gem and very nostalgic.

Their menu is simple and makes you feel at home.

Staff is very kind, large menu and specials to please even the pickiest eater.

Unfortunately this is the ONLY M.C in the state of Utah which is sad, i remember coming here as a child with my family.

The pies are the best thing, they have every day pies and seasonal pies. Most meals comes with a slice of pie.

Go and enjoy a meal and a pie.

“I came in to apply for a job and T the manager on duty was so friendly , prompt with all her customers, she took my application and was so truthful upfront. I liked her attitude and frontness …. “This is a Salt Lake City classic. The original over-the-top shakes in Utah does not disappoint. With about 30 flavors that you can combine to your hearts' content everyone will be happy with the options. They have also added a child's size shake that was just the right size. Their battered fries are also really tasty.
It was originally a drive-through with walk-up windows and outdoor seating, but there are also some tables inside too. It's a great spot.“

“We came in had a 30 minute wait. Got on the list and waited longer and they said we already called you and didn’t even offer us the next seats. They just looked at us like see you .later. Horrible service. I will never go there again.
**Update** A manager contacted me to discuss my review. I gave her all of the details and she apologized and invited us back with a gift card. I told her I didn’t want anything, I just wanted to be heard and to let those workers know how their customer service needs to be improved. She offered us the gift card to “make things right”. I appreciate her sincerity and will try again in the near future.“

“Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“Amazing experience. We did the seven-course tasting menu with some in-season soft drinks. The mushroom curry dish completely knocked my socks off, definitely my favorite. All the flavor combos were incredibly fresh. Amazing upside down apple cake at the end. The service was exceptional, great atmosphere and nice bathrooms. Didn’t hurt that there was a sick rainstorm happening while we were there—overall definitely one of the coolest restaurant experiences I’ve had. 10/10!“

“I recently got pushed out of my favorite restaurant due to bad service (they'll drop the check when I'm halfway done with my food) and restaurant management ( arguing with me about having to charge me for food I didn't even order). Tonight really was a breath of fresh air. The hostess sat me the moment I walked in the door and had nice welcoming chat as we walked. The server was very accommodating to my household dietary needs and the manager on duty was very eager to hear about my recommendation for taking care of the plants in the foyer (I garden as a hobby and love plants). The hostess also asked if she could take my plates off the end of the table, on her way back from seating another table. Tonight was the experience that I seek in a restaurant.

And the buffalo cauliflower was absolutely amazing. I'm a bit disappointed that there's no longer a sweet chili sauce.“

“We always enjoy Applebee's. We got there before the dinner rush and was seated right away. Our server was great. We ordered the chicken wanton tacos and pretzel sticks for appetizers. My husband had a burger & fries, I had salmon with mac & cheese. Everything was great, expert the mac & cheese. It had little to no cheese and no flavor. Next time I'll stick with the mashed potatoes.“

I saw online that they had gluten free fry bread and had just missed having any at my local fair since I went gluten free about a year ago. I think it was the best thing I’ve had since. Was nearly in tears! I got the sweet fry bread with honey butter and cinnamon sugar. I also enjoyed the chicken bbq on mashed potatoes and gf chocolate cake. I wish I had one of these at home! That, along with their truly delicious food, is just 1 of the many reasons I keep coming back. Each day they serve a different daily special. Their meatball sub and sloppy Joe's are my favorites so far. Their chicken cordon blue is FANTABULOUS as well. But, it's more than just the food that keeps me coming back. Mandy, the owner, is exactly how 1 would expect an owner to be. Her friendliness towards every customer is more than just amazing. “My family comes here everytime after we go dirt biking and we love it! The food is delicious, and always very quickly served. The new pumpking spice shake was also a wonderful blend, and wasnt overpowering. The workers kind, very personable and efficient. Clean facility.

Parking: Parking just behind there facility. Sufficient size to turn around our truck and trailer.“
