“Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

So get off the couch and please get to Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade you will be happy you did... also get on the wait list before you get there it's a busy place because it is great“

“This restaurant is a gem!! It is nestled in the Avenues of SLC. The restaurant’s atmosphere is so charming- it’s in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.“

That, along with their truly delicious food, is just 1 of the many reasons I keep coming back. Each day they serve a different daily special. Their meatball sub and sloppy Joe's are my favorites so far. Their chicken cordon blue is FANTABULOUS as well. But, it's more than just the food that keeps me coming back. Mandy, the owner, is exactly how 1 would expect an owner to be. Her friendliness towards every customer is more than just amazing. “I’ve been to many Vessel Kitchen locations, including the one at the airport, and this one has been my favorite! Everything was very fresh, the staff was friendly, and the place was spotless. Definitely my go-to Vessel location from now on.“

“The service was great, the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
We ordered pancakes with eggs(with cheese) and bacon, which was delicious.
My husband ordered a biscuits and gravy breakfast with sausage and eggs. It was ok, the sausage and eggs were good but the gravy on the biscuits looked strange from what we're used to eating. It wasn't very creamy, it had almost a chicken gravy color and the flavor was lacking (maybe made with water instead of milk?.)
My son ordered the kids fish and chips. It came with boiled carrots that had an odd flavor. The fries were decent, but the fish had a weird color. It wasn't white cod, it had a translucent color too it and there was more batter than fish, it was 4 little nugget sized pieces.

The prices weren't too bad. We would be willing to try again.“
