“Wow! This place is a hidden gem. The food was so spectacular that my husband and I reminisced about how good it was and found ourselves saying “mmmm” the entire way home. We had the braised beef noodles, wontons with chili oil and the beef/pork pan fried buns. SO GOOD!! We will be back and also telling all our friends and family to go. Definitely recommend!“

“So so yummy , I don't think people know that you can order fresh made to order food here cause it's in Macy's supermarket but we got the twin peaks roll and it's so good and fresh and I'm so picky with sushi since growing up in California and finding a place with good sushi is hard in Utah we will definitely come back for the fresh made to order food .“

“This has been a place I go to for years. The quality of the food is excellent and the service is outstanding. There is not a single thing about this place I would change. I go for birthdays, celebrations, and just about anytime I can. Shoutout to the incredible workers that make this place so great. It is a very comfortable and welcoming environment. “Loved the calm and simplistic atmosphere, and the food was incredibly satisfying! Definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff was sweet, prompt, and helpful, and the owner (Lily) was personable and caring. We will definitely be returning for many more date nights to come! We each ordered the tonkatsu ramen and we shared the Texas roll. We have now visited twice in one week to try more sushi, and it was great!“

“keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! I highly recommend this place but be careful, if you have them, you will get addicted! best ever!“

“Every time I’ve visited, the service has been quick and the food consistently delicious. I ordered the house salad and the Playboy roll — both were great. Chef Gary even came out to introduce himself and brought out another roll to try, which was also excellent!“

“This place is amazing! I tried 3 rolls here, the Double Spice, the Kamikaze, and the Rich and Rich, all of them were so good I had a hard time deciding which I liked most because each had a unique flavor profile. The atmosphere is super cute and cozy with soft lighting and soft music. Also the bathrooms were also cery clean with lotion also provided which was a nice touch. Also the staff is very quick with service and courteous“

“Overall this little spot is decent and I like it because it’s close to my home. I’ve traveled all over including Japan, and true, it’s not your high end spot. However, rolls are good for the price and staff has always been friendly and quick. Takeout is fast and easy.“

“Food and service were really good. I was not a big fan of the ambiance, tables were a bit close to each other and the music was a bit too loud for my taste. We ordered a number of different sushi rolls and we really liked all of them. We had a mix for both Vegi rolls and regular rolls. The standout rolls in my opinion were the Fiery Furnace and Hawaiian Heater. I also enjoyed the miso soup which was simple but good.“

“Found my love for sushi here. I've had sushi at other places and either do not enjoy it, or i get sick. I have NEVER had that eating the delicious, fresh, and professionally made sushi here. “This place is a hidden gem of fantastic food, quantity and quality.
My family is still amazed by how much food comes on each plate! My in-laws had to order just one main dish and ask for a plate to share. As the plates kept coming a common word around the table kept being said “WOW”.
I wouldn’t consider myself a foodie but with asian restaurants I feel like there is a sliding scale of quality. This place feels like it takes pride in making the food look like it came right out of a menu or online advertisement.
We’ve been here several times now, and it’s quickly become a family favorite.“

This is hands down my favorite sushi restaurant! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and relaxing. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and truly makes you feel valued as a customer.
The sushi is incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Every roll is packed with flavor, and you can taste the quality in every bite. Whether you’re ordering classic rolls or trying something new, you really can’t go wrong.
The service is fast, the portions are generous, and the whole experience is consistently amazing. I’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. If you’re looking for fresh sushi, great service, and a place you’ll want to keep coming back to — this is it!

“We visit this place almost every week. I love the fact that the waiters and managers recognize us, they'll ask about our date and even have our order down. Food is always fresh and delicious. We get the Teriyaki Chicken dinner with no vegetables, Monarch sushi, then the Hernan Chicken Tacos of the Curry. For drinks I usually get green tea, we normally spend about $30 + tips so about 40-50 personally, for 2 people. Portions are good.“

“We stopped by the Soy Sushi Bar and Grill for dinner, 4927 S State St, Murray, UT 84107 on the trip to visit my friend in Salt Lake City from my home town, Irvine, California . We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“I hardly leave reviews unless they're really good or junk. This one deserved a great review. Ask for Austin! Super cool guy who hooks you up with whatever you need. Even when I thought we were ordering a lot, he would describe how much we're having and was confident what we could finish.
Went in for a Valentine's Day dinner at 5pm and even though the wait list had 9 parties in front of us and the host said the wait said an hour it only took us 25min to be seated and have our drinks and orders taken. We ordered probly 5-6x and got things within a few min of finishing our food.
All the fish tasted fresh and just melted in your mouth. Get all the premium nigiri and carpaccio. The King and Jintastic were our favorite sushi rolls. Lowkey the Korean galbi and fried chicken was fire too. Mochi ice cream is real good too.
Entree servings are small which is good so you can try many things and not be scared of having to pay for leftovers.“

“First time here. Absolutely amazing! We had a dishes and both were amazing. Every roll is art! Sat at the sushi bar and it’s the best seat in the house. The Sushi chefs Eddie and Yee are there and you can chat with them and there’s always something to look at. they made Sushi roll super fast and the Sushi Rolls so yummy. The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. If I were rating our experience on food/atmosphere, this would have been 5/5 stars.“

“I’ve come here several times and tonight’s food was terrible, cold sesame chicken, chicken on the fried rice was boiled lacking flavor,I’m afraid the quality has become poor. Like to continue to supporting local businesses but if quality diminishes, it’ll be hard to return. Please revisit your food quality being served.“

“Oh my gosh this place is phenomenal! Not only is the Sushi rolled fresh for every order, the customer service is amazing! The lady who took our order was very nice, friendly and quick on her feet. Our order was delivered right to our table. And it was presenters to us in the way you'd expect it to be delivered to royalty. I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't regret it.“
