“keyaki sushi is my favorite! i used to go to garage grill for my sushi nachos. then my best friend sent me a recommendation. ,,,, holy moly! I do wish they'd have an option on door dash to hold jalapenos and add other ingredients, like king crab and fish eggs. people would pay extra. I would! I highly recommend this place but be careful, if you have them, you will get addicted! best ever!“

“This place is the best sushi in SLC. It’s fairly priced and good size rolls. They also have awesome Pho.
I eat here a couple times a month whether it be take out or dine in, everything on the menu is great. There’s also outdoor patio for the nice weather“

“we tried Eiko Cafe SLC (1234 S Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City) and were so excited to try authentic Chinese food. they have your typical orange chicken and chow mein available, but we went for the boiled fish filet with pickled cabbage (left) and west lake beef soup (right). the fish dish was spicy, tender, savory and also had a slight numbing effect of the Sichuan peppercorn (yum!). the beef soup was the best thing to have on this snowy and wet day. our waitress introduced herself as Jasmine and was so excited to see us try what her family eats at home. she was very accommodating and so friendly! we will be back tomorrow and hope we can easily decide what things to get next… we want to try the entire menu.“

“It is spacious and ADA friendly. It smells so delicious upon entry. Hugh (sp?) the host was very kind and hospitable. And patient (it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted). Foo (sp?) was an awesome chef! He gave us the tricks but also shared dialogue with us. Very humble and personable, and the food….my husband is picky and he agreed that it was exceptional. Perfectly cooked NY Strip steak, shrimp, yakitori, salad, soup, and salmon (we are from Alaska and they did this little piece of salmon justice ❤️). And Sam the other host was also very hospitable and checked on us. They don’t skip a beat when they saw us roll in with our wheelchair. And other employees were checking on us too. Love this place!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect and open to sit anywhere with a wheelchair“

“I love Tsunami. It literally is the only sushi place I trust in Utah. I was excited to find out my 9th and 9th location is open on Sundays. They have a new espresso martini that is perfect and Alex the manager is great at making sure customers are satisfied and my server Charlie was very attentive!! All around wonderful experience as usual“

“I've visited Shinobi at least a dozen times over the last year. It's always a top-notch experience. The sushi is prepared with care and flare. The staff are friendly and helpful. This last time, I ordered a gimlet with gin. OMG. It is the best one I've ever had, and I'm aiming to be a connoisseur! So smooth with just the right balance of sweet and tart. Eloisa, the bartender, is the Gimlet Queen! I've considered going back just for one of those. If you want a relaxing atmosphere, superb food and drinks, alongside neighborly service, then Shinobi is for you.“

“We stopped by the Soy Sushi Bar and Grill for dinner, 4927 S State St, Murray, UT 84107 on the trip to visit my friend in Salt Lake City from my home town, Irvine, California . We have an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, very fresh sashimi platter, playboy roll, seafood fried rice… We are surprise that in a small town like this place , we are able to find a great Japanese food that is as great as the Taiko Restaurant in My home town in Southern California …“

“Food and service were really good. I was not a big fan of the ambiance, tables were a bit close to each other and the music was a bit too loud for my taste. We ordered a number of different sushi rolls and we really liked all of them. We had a mix for both Vegi rolls and regular rolls. The standout rolls in my opinion were the Fiery Furnace and Hawaiian Heater. I also enjoyed the miso soup which was simple but good.“

“Always good not super great, We like to go to this sushi place a lot because they have a lot of different types of sushi along with Chinese food so if you're not in the mood you can mix and match. Most of their food is really good and almost always tastes good. The servers are excellent and the atmosphere is usually okay it would be nice if they had more booths or more comfortable seating that wasn't around the edge of the building by the windows but it is what it is.“

“I've been here three plus times for dinner and had sushi rolls, sashimi, and okonomiyaki with family and that was a 5 star experience. The appearance and flavor of the rolls is great! We love the Romeo and Juliet, the Mafia, and the Firebird, but all are yummy. I do wish they had more with only raw fish though, as most of the options are cooked in some way it feels like, with raw fish options just on top. Perhaps that's just Utah preferences though. I've still really enjoyed every roll I've ordered. I came here for lunch for the first time though and was a little let down. I got the Bento box with 3 nigiri and salmon teriyaki. Let me start with the pros: delicious wasabi with a good texture and amount of spice, yummy salad dressing, and great teriyaki sauce. The nigiri were also a lovely texture and nice flavor. The tray presentation looked cute and appetizing. Cons: The gyoza were deep fried, which I wasn't a fan of. I understand it's quicker, but I was hoping for pan fried the traditional way with steam. The salmon also seem to be fried? It wasn't baked or steamed, so the outer texture was a bit tough and dry. The inside of the fish was okay, and the sauce tasted great, but the texture outside wasn't very good. The salad was cheap iceburg lettuce and purple cabbage, but the dressing was so good I forgave that. It came with a big scoop of rice, so I was full by the end of the meal. I just regretting what I ordered. I'll stick to the sushi rolls and okonomiyaki going forward. My server also didn't refill my water until I was done with my meal and ready to leave, which was also a bit frustrating as I'd wanted to get a soda too after starting to eat. However, I still like the rolls, so I'll probably be back. This experience was a 3, but usually it's a 5, so I averaged it to 4 stars.“

“This is a nice little sit down restaurant on state street. I ordered a teriyaki shrimp bento and I got a lot of food for the price. it was all good food, however the miso soup was too salty. That's my only complaint here. Thanks for a good meal.“

“First time coming here. It’s a bit squishy, but thankfully, we made friends with the table that was right next to ours. They’ve changed their menu to all you can eat. If you can eat a lot of sushi it’s a great deal. The only drawback was some undercooked rice and a server that could’ve been more attentive. We will definitely be back!“

“Loved the calm and simplistic atmosphere, and the food was incredibly satisfying! Definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff was sweet, prompt, and helpful, and the owner (Lily) was personable and caring. We will definitely be returning for many more date nights to come! We each ordered the tonkatsu ramen and we shared the Texas roll. We have now visited twice in one week to try more sushi, and it was great!“

“First time here. Absolutely amazing! We had a dishes and both were amazing. Every roll is art! Sat at the sushi bar and it’s the best seat in the house. The Sushi chefs Eddie and Yee are there and you can chat with them and there’s always something to look at. they made Sushi roll super fast and the Sushi Rolls so yummy. The restaurant has a real nice and clean vibe too. The restrooms were clean as well. Definitely my favorite sushi spot in SLC. If I were rating our experience on food/atmosphere, this would have been 5/5 stars.“

“Tokai Sushi was SO GOOD! As soon as my friends and I walked in, a waiter greeted us and got us seated. The environment seemed really friendly and the lanterns gave it a cool ambience type of feel. We actually went twice, so I’m kind of smooshing it all into one review (lol). I don’t remember exactly what we all got, but I ordered the Kimchi soup the first time (I don’t recommend, I couldn’t handle the taste) but the second time I got the (miso or the third one down?) soup and it was REALLY good. We ordered a bunch of different sushi, I think I got an eel avocado roll, Playboy, and Las Vegas - the last two were really good and I loved the flavors. But tbh you can’t go wrong with any of the sushi. So yeah, would highly recommend.“

“A modern & cozy sushi spot that has some of the best sushi in Utah! Everything we got was incredible. The hand rolls were amazing, but the Ora King salmon sashimi really did it for us! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, and the staff is knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions you may have. We had Corey & Junior, they were both amazing! We will definitely be back.“

“i love this place, they are a little bit expensive but pretty worth it. i would recommend the sushi options over their other dishes - nothing else i've had here is bad, i just think the sushi is a lot better and more worth the price. I also think the dining booths looked a lot better by the windows. it's kind of awkward how it is right now with them right in front of the bar.“

“We wanted sushi and heard this was the best place. It's a fun location with a cool vibe. We had three rolls, Black Magic Woman, Strawberry Fields and Ramon. I liked them best in that order. Ramon I would not order again, it was just kind of bland, but the other two rolls were great!“

“First i want to say, you cook your own food, so the one star review who said they got sick, LEARN TO COOK! This place is the best. My wife and i come here whenever we get the chance. The food, atmosphere, everything, is just great. We get hot pot and bbq each time. our go to dishes are the rib eye soup, and mine is the Tom yum. We get the black pepper pork, and short ribs without fail. Do not listen to the ones who complain about KBBQ because the truth is they dont understand or respect it. Go here, always.“

“Been coming here for a long time now, and I've never had a disappointing experience?. I have brought at least a dozen new people here, desperate to show them how good it is and now they're regulars! I took my son here for his very first sushi roll and he loves it. The Suzuki is my personal favorite, it's balanced so well! Tonight, I asked our server chinh to suprise me with a roll and brought out the Diamond roll, which will now be my personal favorite? the staff is great, and the owner always checks om us to make sure our experience is good“
