The blend of flavors, textures and colors was an epicurean delight. Our waiter/bartender Damany was thoughtful, always on point without being intrusive. “This was my first time and I went with a friend of mine visiting from Philly. We went for brunch or early lunch. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Food arrived fast and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the seared shrimp tacos, moist and tasty-yum, my friend had the market fish sandwich for that day, he absolutely loved it and he doesn't usually eat fish lol.“

“This is our neighborhood go to. We love the staff and the food is always very good. My only wish is that the menu had a more often rotation. Many of my favorite dishes are only available during happy hour or on specific days, like the blackened fish only on Friday. It’s great to be able to take our kids here where on the bar side their noise level is drowned out by the patrons. Tons of games available to watch and many fans of different teams converging to root them on. The vibe is great on either the restaurant or bar side, and the regulars are great fun to enjoy company. Highly recommended and we will be there as a regular when you come!“

“We recently hosted a team event at Aslin in Alexandria and had a fantastic time! Annie and the event team made sure our space was ready to go and the team was very attentive. We also loved that individuals could order via QR code to their own tab which allowed a much easier tab settlement than 60 people figuring out the bill! Drinks and food were served lightening fast. We ordered the tots and got something very different than expected that she could not have and i thought was fair at best. However our entrees were great. I had a very tasty steak in a good salad and her burger was modified to her liking with a little input from staff. We sat at the bar and service was good despite it being one persons first shift there. Will go back and order off the great wine selection!!!“

“It was amazing. Simply amazing. Casual, not luxurious, but so cute. Small yet roomy. And clean. The pizza was incredible. I think they make their tomato sauce themselves. You know how at those fancy pizzerias the taste is good but when you fold the slice New York–style, the tip droops down because it’s soggy? This was nothing like that. It was a huge pizza, but the tip of the slice never drooped. Perfectly crispy.

They also give little packets of oregano and amazingly good chili flakes, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The interior is very charming. I just think the lemonade could have been a bit better. I hope the taste always stays this way.“
