“It was amazing. Simply amazing. Casual, not luxurious, but so cute. Small yet roomy. And clean. The pizza was incredible. I think they make their tomato sauce themselves. You know how at those fancy pizzerias the taste is good but when you fold the slice New York–style, the tip droops down because it’s soggy? This was nothing like that. It was a huge pizza, but the tip of the slice never drooped. Perfectly crispy.

They also give little packets of oregano and amazingly good chili flakes, which I thought was such a nice touch.

The interior is very charming. I just think the lemonade could have been a bit better. I hope the taste always stays this way.“

For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). One employee in particular by the name of Charlie was quite popular as longtime customers piled in to say hello or catch up while he prepared an array of food items to include the fried foods. Mimi wanted to try the fried chicken breast (she loves chicken) and initially I was told there was a 15 minute wait, a customer ahead of me stated it’s definitely worth the wait as he smiled. So having a free day off, I waited and I am so glad that I did! The chicken breast also has the wing attached and it’s placed piping hot between two slices of “cheap white sliced bread”. I was asked how I would like it so I responded as many others before me did: salt, pepper and hot sauce? When I say that was the most perfectly seasoned, fried and juiciest chicken breast I have ever had (5/5). They are a food stand opened early and closes early only M-F!
