“My recent visit to Sari Filipino Kusina with my son was nothing short of a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere drew us in. The restaurant combines modern decor with touches of Filipino culture, creating a setting that’s both stylish and cozy.

The food is the real highlight. We started with lumpiang shanghai, which was perfectly crisp and packed with flavor, a promising start to our meal. I went for the adobo, which was tender, rich, and savory, while my son chose the sinigang, a soup that had just the right balance of tanginess and warmth. The lechon kawali we shared was incredibly crispy outside, with melt-in-your-mouth tenderness inside—a true treat.

Dessert was a shared halo-halo, and it was fantastic. It’s a layered, colorful mix of flavors and textures that ended the meal on a refreshing note.

“This place really deserves the high rating! It's a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The cafe is charming, very clean, and as cheerful as the name suggests! We had a veggie breakfast burrito and a veggie omelet, both of which were delicious and full of fresh ingredients. The coffee was really good too. There are lots of options on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. The lady who runs the place (owner?) is so nice and welcoming, too. We'll definitely be back!“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“I've been a happy customer at the Courthouse location for 5 years. The staff are super nice and caring! The food is always delicious and prepared beautifully..recommend the falafel bowl, tofu salad, Greek yogurt items, smoothies, avocado toast, soup, and cookies. Very fresh ingredients.

Dietary restrictions: There are many healthy vegetarian options..none of the super processed mock meats are offered. Some of the side items are a huge portion too. Salads that have meat or dairy could be modified easily with vegetarian or vegan options. Vegan soup option is fantastic.“

“We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and our server was CJ. The bottomless mimosas were served in coup glasses and were plentiful (limit of 5 per person 👍🏻). “I like Chopt salads and especially like the kiosks in this location. It greatly speeds up getting your order.

My only complaint is that they need to stop letting homeless people come in and sleep at the tables. A woman was asleep at a table for over half an hour without buying anything. Nobody said anything while paying customers had nowhere to sit.“

“Me and my partner had shnitzels and a fish platter. They tasted great, especially the shnitzel. The potato salad came with a lingonberry jam which a great surprise and we loved it. Although the portions were on the smaller side, they gave us free pastries before leaving which was very kind. It's conveniently located near one of my favorite theaters, and Andy's Pizza is the perfect spot to meet up with friends before or after a screening to grab a bite to eat and a good drink (Atlas Brewery being part of the same space is a cool touch, and I've had a couple of good brewskis too). Great service, delicious pizza. I love a thin crust and getting a single slice or two served up on a classic white paper plate really hits the spot when you want some 'za. Because of the chemo, he has changes in taste and unexpected issues with food textures. “A place everyone must try at least once. I have been to Meaza Restaurant several times and l just love their food. Their menu has a lot of options for everyone, whether you are a meat lover or vegan. I particularly love their Kitfo and Veggie combo dish. I recently used their catering services for a private party for 100 people. I opted for the package that includes food, servers and bartenders. The food was delicious, my guests loved it and the servers were exceptional! The servers took care of my guests and provided the best service I have not seen elsewhere. I definetly recommend this place to anyone hosting an event and looking to impress with Ethiopian food, or wanting to simply dine at their restaurant. I will definetly use their catering services again.“
