“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“We visited it during the July 4th celebrations! There was no wait time, the place was well lit! We were looking for only plant based options so we found this place, ambiance was good. It’s not a massive place, it has cozy and comfortable vibes. The staff were very polite and generous.
We had one falafel bowl and make our own bowl! I loved the chimichurri sauce, it was amazing.
Beet roasted-lentils were great as well.
Overall, I loved the food. It was so filling! Everything was perfect in that mix!

They have clean washrooms as well and they were spotless!

“This was my first time trying their cookie. I was told by someone that they were too sweet. I tried their oatmeal cookie with raisin and it was delicious. One of the best cookies I've ever had. It was not too sweet at all. Full of flavor , crispy on the outside and chewie on the inside. Unfortunately I didn't get to try other flavors so I can't comment on them but I look forward next time I get a chance.“

But the waiter and bartender both insisted that I try a California Chardonnay when I specifically told them I didn't like oaky wines. I was right, and they ended up dumping a 9oz pour. The scallops and risotto, which I normally adore were overdone and rubbery. The cedar-plank salmon that I recommended for my husband based on past experience was literally raw in the middle and burned on the edges. The saving grace was the nice ambiance and the yummy desserts - go for the key lime, you will not regret. I will go back because I've always had great food and service before. I will have to assume that this was just a bad night. But be warned if this is a downward trend....“

They use very good espresso beans and their baristas are amazing. The place can get packed quickly and that’s a sign of why this place is so good. Lastly, it’s family friendly, which is a big plus.“
