The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “We ate here for one of our Friday night family dinners. Loved that there were already a few dishes on the table - salad, spicy, pickled radish, japchae, kimchi and regular radish. Then one person delivered water for the table. We all ordered the Puzukan special. I ordered the herb pork belly and pork galbi. My oldest ordered the spicy pork bulgogi and ribs. Hubby ordered a thick pork belly (unsure of the name) and regular beef bulgogi. Youngest ordered brisket and spicy beef bulgogi. I love that they cook for you. The young lady who assisted us was wonderful. My daughters also ordered a fruit drink that was quite tasty. The other waiters delivered the accompanying banchan which were pretty good. The meat was hit or miss. My youngest loved both her choices. My oldest didn't like her ribs because they were sweet but enjoyed the spicy pork. Hubby's thick pork belly was completely flavorless even with the sauces. There was no helping it. But his bulgogi was good. My herb pork was decent but the galbi was freaking amazing. We also ordered the cheesecake mango bingsu which was honestly the highlight of the night. Overall we give this place a 4.“

“You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bourbon & Fig! Luis provided the best, most outstanding service! The croquets were a wonderful appetizer! Two of us had the filet mignon and both were cooked perfectly with delicious mashed potatoes and asparagus! Yum! Our friend had the pork chop and it was buttery tender and delicious! We shared three desserts - chocolate mousse, cheesecake and olive oil lemon cake, all of which were divine! If you want a fine dining experience with delicious food and top notch service, this is the place! It’s a gorgeous restaurant, beautifully decorated! Oh and the drinks were great, too!“

The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. Stopped by after an event, and we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff. We did takeout and the portions were generous!

We got chicken cashew, pad Thai and pad see yew with their fresh Thai tea.

Service was quick, and the surrounding ambiance is pleasant. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables.

But really, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the food is delicious!

It was actually Easter, and I had a long, emotional day—I had taken my mother to the hospital and, being 8 months pregnant, I hadn’t eaten yet. I was exhausted and overwhelmed. But an employee named Anthony completely turned my day around.
His attitude was amazing—so polite, patient, and genuinely kind. He treated me with such care and respect, and in that moment, it meant everything. This is exactly the kind of customer service we need more of today.

“I had a five star experience with hubby last night. The manager Mahder was very hospitable, asking how our food was. We got the steak Alfredo and I liked it, but the steak had a peppery taste so I asked her if they could make it without the pepper (I don’t like pepper because of my food aversion) and she said the beef has seasoning on it and tried to have the kitchen prepare beef without it, but she said the meat was frozen and couldn’t be prepared. I was thankful she was willing to make that accommodation. She was very generous with great service. My husband and I enjoyed our conversations with Mahder and our server Emily. They both went above and beyond in serving us and we highly recommend the food and will definitely be back. Emily did an awesome job serving us! We will definitely be back“

“There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! I love the quality of their meat, the flavor of their broth, and the consistency of the meal each time I order. I was living off beauregard st. behind the old shoppers in 1995 and working at my first job at arby's when I discovered Szechuan Delight. There were always very affordable and quick.. Items used to be around 5.95 or $6.95.. They have excellent lomein, hunan and szechuan dishes. However what is very unique to that restaurant is their Chicken & Hot Garlic dish. In course of time, after college, I moved to maryland, then florida, followed by long stay in europe. I have never found anything close that their chicken & hot garlic sauce dish.. Every chance I get to visit virginia, perhaps every few years, I try to stop at szechuan delight for that dish and even after 30 years, it still tastes exactly the same. I've looked up thousands of instructions and could never replicate it.. I hope my next visit, the chef might allow me to learn how to make that dish, so I can enjoy it while living in europe.“

He has been accommodating if I arrived near closing. I have to also add that it has been two years that I come to this location, almost daily, as a subscriber, every day. The staff is very courteous, and our food has consistently been excellent. Given that there are limited food options on Fort Belvoir, it’s understandable that this location can get busy during peak lunchtime hours, especially since it’s a new and popular spot. Order well in advance and utilize walk-in instead of the drive through if you suspect it will be busy.
