“Il Faro is a very good restaurant. I love the Chicken Marsala here. Extremely tasty. A different spin on it as they don't use spaghetti as the pasta. The chef uses penne pasta and it absorbs the flavors of the sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and the organic chicken well. The chicken is extremely tender and the chef consistently delivers this dish in the three times we have been here since they took over after Mama Mias closed. I also want to note they do the appetizers well. We enjoy the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh since it doesn't have that frozen taste and the sauce to dip in is very tasteful. As for the meatballs, they are beef based but the chef adds a great flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella and they add delightful bread to soak up the remaining sauce and cheese after you enjoy the meatballs. The pizza is a thin crust cooked toward the under side so no browning on the cheese. It is a NY pizza in the finest of traditions. You will enjoy it. Service is top notch. I mean 100%. We go in and we are 100% satisfied with the service. Waitress is efficient, smart and completely interested in making sure you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

Despite it being a busy Friday night and not having a reservation, there was no wait for great booth seating - and the music was great.The Hamburger Nachos were scrumptious and were definitely shareable — the portion size was huge!! I went with the Quesadilla Marina for my main course & devoured it!! The Old Bay seasoned shrimp and cilantro claw were THE perfect combo with the Chihuahua cheese ?Our server was super duper attentive and checked in often to make sure we had enough water and also weren’t waiting to order anything else.“

“This is a family owned restaurant. Ofc the owner couldnt be any friendlier. Keep in mind that it's a small place. The lobster roll I had was wayyyyy better than "Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls" in DC and Shirlington. Their roasted beef burger was divine to me since I'm a meatlover. I enjoyed the clam chowder more than I thought. You can find it easily in this DMV area but this place might have the best clam chowder. Lobster bisque was also good (but I liked the clam chowder more). Whoopie pie was alright, not my thing, but you have to try their Boston cream pie. Will definitely come back to try the fried dishes because I saw the next table order a lot of those. I don't have to think of Boston anymore when I crave lobster rolls.“

You need to enter from the second drive, and like you are headed to the hotel… then you take a left into the parking lot just before the drive-thru goes off to the left at the very back. “I have not been to a Panera Bread in awhile, but I had a gift card so I took advantage of that when I saw this location while I was running errands. It was around 11:30 am, and it would've been hard to get a table; however I was ordering takeout. While Panera has self-ordering kiosks, my gift card needed a human because it was digital, so I stepped up to the counter to order. The guy who took my order was kind and patient. I got my soda and waited about 5 minutes for my order-Turkey chili with the Fuji apple chicken salad. It was packaged nicely and stayed warm. I didn't pay much attention to the coat but I remember it was $16+, which is a lot for what panera offers. The Turkey chili really was good though with sweet notes throughout. I'd love it again on a cold winters day.“
