“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

The freshness of the fish is evident from the first bite. Highly recommend the chef's island. The sea bream was also fantastic. “Found out about Simply Social after a google search trying to find a drive thru coffee spot near me! Love that this is a local small business and my order was even taken by the owner who was incredibly sweet!

I ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte (one size) and a steak and cheese and both were delicious! Food and coffee came out within 5-7 minutes.

Will definitely be coming back for the delicious food and the convenience of not having to unload the kids in and out of the car!“

“I met a friend here for coffee. My friend brought in her own coffee and the staff didn't say anything, which was really nice. I got a matcha latte and it was very tasty.

Staff was very nice - I put on my instructions whilst using the online kiosk to remove any almond products - just in case since I know a lot of granola is made with almond - I have an almond allergy. The kind lady behind the register saw my request and asked me if I'd perfer to switch to a gluten free granola because their regular granola did contain almond.
I was very happy with how kind she was with the switch because of the almond.

Also I might be biased because I LOVE açaí bowls but the bowl I got was absolutely delicious!

The service was okay, but my table was sticky and had some cookie crumbs, which I had to wipe off myself.“

“It’s really nice to have a Peet’s Coffee nearby, particularly when there’s a ton of Starbucks in the area. This location is a nice addition to the plaza, a cozy, quaint spot with plenty of parking nearby.

I’d gotten so used to settling for Starbucks that I’d forgotten the great tasting flavor of Peet’s coffee brews.

The vibe and atmosphere of the coffee shop is similar to any Peet’s location but this has the added benefit of matching the rest of the exterior of the plaza.

Overall, we’re really glad to have this Peet’s nearby.

More than how great the food was, the ownership and staff were spectacular! We felt like we were popping in and seeing old friends. “Java Loco seemed very laidback and quiet when I dropped by around 1700 on a Tuesday afternoon. There weren't too many customers so it was fairly quiet. They have several tables and barstools/table inside with optional outside seating as well. It was a really hot afternoon, so the lack of many customers was much wanted!

I ordered the Golden Dream fruit tea with light ice (unfortunately, the sweetness couldn't be customized!). I also had a chocolate cigar Danish. I asked if they made their pasties in-house. They informed me they were not, but they are local. I didn't get the name of the bakery though. I quite liked the chocolate Danish. The drink was pretty good, but was just a tad bit too sweet for my taste.

I really like the ambiance in there and would not hesitate to go back and try some of their other offerings.“
