“Great foods presented professionally Hells Kitchen style, with a great view of the kitchen in operation. Very professional, well-led server staff that knows how important timing is. Excellent food that has been properly prepared and presented. The dessert was a fantastic take on Caramel Crème Brûlée, most especially well presented in layer style. I am absent of our servers name but we were located to the right as you walk in, almost all the way to the end. Just a great example of how servers can make a meal much more appetizing with impeccable timing. An overall excellent outing. Highly recommend.“

“Ellie Bird has been on our list to try since they opened. Like their sister restaurant Rooster & Owl, the menu is both refined and rustic, with an emphasis on small plates great for sharing. We went for dinner and ordered the bread basket, spring green salad, Vietnamese french onion soup, salted cod rangoons, pomelo larb, braised lamb shank and chocolate cake. The pineapple buns are a carry over from Rooster & Owl that I’d happily eat with every meal. The Vietnamese french soup is aptly named, a wonderful combination of richly aromatic braised oxtail broth reminiscent of a fabulous pho with the oniony, cheesy, crouton goodness of a classic french onion. The rangoons are a perfect execution of an American Thai staple and the pomelo larb burst with flavor. The lamb shank, expertly cooked and glazed, was easily split between the two of us and sat on a bed of herbaceous tabouleh.A delay in getting us to our seats at the chefs counter resulted in several comped plates throughout the meal and we were very grateful for the above and beyond. The asparagus and pine berry salad added to our starter course was a true delight, who knew they were such a good pair!I’ll be interested to see how the restaurant continues to evolve. While Rooster & Owl remains our go-to for special occasions, we will absolutely come back to Ellie Bird with friends and family in tow and certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.“

“My first time at this location and everything was top notch! Despite it being a chain, I think the quality is pretty consistent. The steaks were cooked good, center was juicy, outer seared well. Overall it was flavorful and you can taste the difference. Service was top notch, we celebrated a couple birthdays and they brought out some nice complimentary deserts for us! We also got a crème brûlée that was yummy. The bread that they bring out was good too! I definitely will be back for special occasions! Ambience was excellent.“

“I love Great American Restaurants and can always count on Patsy's American for a perfect casual dining experience. The comfortable seating and airy space with high ceilings give us a unique experience that other restaurants don't provide. The food, drinks, and desserts are always perfect; even a simple hot fudge sundae is delicious at this restaurant. Nothing can go wrong when we dine at Patsy's American.Parking: Although the restaurant has a parking space in front of the premises, it fills up quickly. An adjacent free parking garage is available.“

“The ambiance of the restaurant is romantic, with flower bouquets and beautiful paintings. For the appetizers that we ordered, the portions were very small but the food was good. The duck confit was sweet, the ravioli sauce was great, the french onion soup was standard, and the crab cake sauce was delicious but very small. Free desert came with small samples of chocolate mouse and raspberry cake.“

“Came here for a birthday, had a reservation but still had to wait 15mins, not a huge deal but be aware. Service was friendly but not very attentive. Had to flag our waitress down every time I needed anythingThe food: steaks were cooked to perfection and were some of the best I’ve had in the dmv. Rockfish was exceptionally good. Cesar salad was fantastic.Busy place prices are reasonable for what you get in quality of food but definitely not cheap.If you appreciate a quality steak I would highly recommend Ozzie’s. I will be trying it again.Parking: Parking wasn’t hard to find but may need to walk a block or two.“

“My wife and I went for Easter brunch. Food as always along with service was top notch. I like Arti's. The restaurant gives me that when I was a child (many moons ago LOL) and my Mom would take me to a cool restaurant for dinner after church type of feeling. Again food selections were great only thing was, they discontinued Chicken and Waffles on the menu. This was sort of a let down because that was the dish we had many times for Easter Brunch. When I asked the manager he explained that upper management revamped the menus throughout the Great American restaurants after the fire. I look forward to the next time my wife and I have dinner here. I hope that maybe upper management can find it in their heart to bring back the Chicken and waffles. Thanks for the good times.“

“Great food and friendly service! I love to sit outside on the deck. They are able to accommodate those with special dietary needs. I need gluten free and dairy free. Gluten free buns are available upon request. GF buns need an extra few minutes to defrost the in the oven but it’s worth the wait. Or you can call ahead. “The meal was exquisite. The dishes were well presented, creative and delicious as well as showing upon rather generous, dare we say it, North American portions. Our server (and others passing) was/were fantastic but we did sit at the bar and not at a table. This was a choice that we consciously made because we were celebrating our 19th anniversary sans children. Intimacy. A few reviews complain about price or the lack of selections on the menu. All we can say is: post-COVID prices have gone up significantly but that is true for everything that we, as a community, consume today. It might be harder to stomach the price increases for discretionary expenses like a fancy meal. In any event, please do not expect 1980s or even 2019 prices. Secondly, yep, it is pricey, but it is worth every centime. The "limited" menu is what really good restaurants do, not to gouge you, but to spoil you with a core set of dishes that will tantalite the palate of almost every true gourmand. NUE hits the mark rather well. Finally, one kink in the armor, is how food is served today and how waitstaff interact with customers. Partly caused by the clash of generations, e.g., servers and the served may have 30 to 40 years between them, partly because due to COVID the new wave apparently did not get to learn from the OGs who did not return to the hospitality business sector, and is likely partly due to the pace of life in the DMV as practiced by folks with maybe too much money. That service process part needs to be ironed-out, but it is not just an issue at NUE, but at most, if not all, DMV fine food establishments. We, for one, will be back to NUE very soon. We just need to save up for it and we won't have to wait a year.“

“Our server was so pleasant and attentive. For our appetizer we got the calamari and it was some of the best I've ever had. Entrees were a bit hit or miss. The ribeye we ordered wasn't seasoned well, but the crabcake we got was the best I've ever had. Overall a great experience, though fairly pricey.“

“This place shines. We were a group of six tonight. What a joy to be treated so superbly. Our servers were attentive, informative and most pleasant. We were an energetic group but nothing this experienced group couldn't handle. Our drinks, wine, seafood, vegetables, meats and giant chocolate cake were delicious.We could have easily stayed for another hour solving many of the earths issues but, alas, it was closing time.We left happy, well-fed, and content.Thank you for a delightful experience.“

“Another Great American restaurant that just absolutely kills it! I’ve yet to go to a location where the beef ribs were available and wow were they good! Meat feeling off the bone good!!If you’re ever at Coastal Flats, the crabcake sliders are an absolute MUST since they don’t have them at other locations (at least from what i know)!! “Loved Joon for Brunch. We will be back! Great food selection (we did a la carte) and our server Elijah was awesome. All of the dishes were well-balanced. It was lively by the number of active tables yet auditorily quiet around 1PM which was pleasant.Parking: The garage is free and easy on the weekends. Otherwise, park near the end of the Patsy's parking lot towards Tiffany's. Parking for this plaza in general can be an adventure to find your first time.“

The quality of the food was spectacular.✨️ Sautéed Calamari: The PERFECT app to share and to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Calamari but this changed my mind. The sauce is amasing with the garlic bread too.✨️ Chicken & cranberry salad: Deliciously crisp and refreshing, I was told this is a new addition to the menu and I think it was perfect for spring!? Spicy Lobster pasta: This wasn't as spicy as I anticipated, but man was the flavours are so tasty! I would 100% order this again and probably my favourite item overall.✨️ Lobster roll: Most Lobster rolls I've had in the area are too mayo-y and this was the opposite. It was refreshing and perfectly prepared, easily would recommend the lobster roll here to anyone who is craving.? Red sangria & Beach water: Drinks were so pretty, I absolutely loveeeee the sangria.? Key lime pie & Bread pudding: Both absolutely delicious desserts, personally one of the best key lime pies I've had as it wasn't too tangy or too sweet. “We have a go to Thai restaurant in Burke but I thought we'd look for another that might be better. This place was a pleasant surprise. Ordered vegetable soup, ginger fanatic, and pad Thai. The soup was just right. The veggies were crisp and soup was not loaded with sodium. The soup was enough for 2 people. The ginger fanatic with shrimp and brown rice was excellent The sauce was light so you could taste shrimp and crisp vegetables. Maybe they could add a little more broccoli. Ginger was the right amount. A little bite to the flavor. The pad Thai was light and not too heavy. Again, right amount of sauce. The serving size was enough for 2 people. Ordered on line and pickup was on time. Server was very pleasant There are a few tables but we took it home The menu was extensive so we will be back Thank you from the Flash!“

“I'm in town for business and decided to try a local Italian restaurant near my hotel. The food was good considering I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to authentic Italian food. Bread and pesto dip were fresh and the pasta and (colossal) meatball were pretty good (mine are still better - LOL)! “We gave Mari Sushi Bar and Lounge in Herndon a try for my husband’s birthday, and it is now my favorite sushi spot! Everything was incredible-fresh, flavorful, and filling. Hands down the best dynamite roll I’ve had, and even the fish I usually pass over were so good I kept going back to them. “Easily one of the top Indian restaurants in the DMV region. Easy to find the place. There’s paid street parking, a free parking lot behind the restaurant. They do accommodate walk-ins but the wait times can sometimes be more than expected. Seating is limited and it gets busy during dinner time. Bar seating available.Ambiance is okay, atmosphere is slightly noisy and music is acceptable. But you can easily have conversations in the loudest setting. Staff and service is good. Really efficient and knowledgeable.Everything on the menu is worth a shot. My favorites are - Chicken chili, Paneer chili, Schezwan chicken, Chole Bhature, Hakka noodles, chicken biryani, rajasthani Laal maas, Kashmiri goat curry.There are regular desert options, nothing that will wow you but is of really good quality.Not a fan of their butter chicken and Naan. Chat items have room for improvement.You can place order online through gruhub, Uber eats, DoorDash, etc. There isn’t a price difference between ordering on these apps and their restaurant menu which makes me believe they have marked up the cost to accommodate additional platform surcharges. “Visited on a Sunday Eve with a res. Seated upon arrival. The Place got busy quick. Wait staff was attentive. But seemed like they rushed us out when we looked done. House Chianti was very good. Arancini was one of the best I've had. Veal Canneloni Special was good not great Fusilli pasta special was served with rigatoni, I dont think anyone else noticed. Had great sausage and LOTS of garlic.....that was fine we were vampire hunting after dinner. I would definitely return. I'd like to try other items and update my rating.“

“Words cannot express how happy we are that we discovered this hidden gem when we were simply looking on impulse for an Indian restaurant after a long day. The name seemed familiar from one we had eaten at in Falls Church that was a favorite of ours. And we were pleasantly surprised that they are owned by the same people. The staff here were just as courteous, helpful and efficient making sure our drinks stay full, the plates were cleared away and coming to check on how everything was. The whole experience from the presentation of the food, the portions, the quality of the ingredients, how well it was seasoned and cooked and the pricing for what you get which is a lot was right on mark in every way. We could taste the effort and love that goes into their cooking and how much they take pride in what they do. I think the food is just a bit better seasoned than their other location too. Everything tasted amazing and had our taste buds singing. We could not have asked for a better experience both times we were there for lunch and dinner and we feel most welcomed when we are there. They are wonderful proof that good food traverses boundaries and cultures amd brings people together as also witnessed by the other happy diners there of various ethnicities. Definitely on our list of places to go to and another local business we plan to support very often.Vegetarian options: I personally enjoyed the vegetable pakora, plain saag and chana masala. The only thing that could be better would be a mixed vegetarian option on their main menu either as a entree or appetizer so I could explore more vegetarian dishes before committing to just one.Dietary restrictions: I enjoyed the facts that they were gluten free, nut free and dairy free options as there are times I'm unable to consume these if I'm having digestive issues.Parking: There are quite a few food places as well as a smaller Walmart so parking can be a little challenging though we had no problems finding spots.“

“After reading good reviews, we recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious, with flavors. Moreover, the menu had a wide variety of food options. The drinks were also excellent, and the service was good. The interior was eclectic, with large graphics on the wall, artificial plants, small decorative pieces, and combinations of colors. “You need to dine-in here on Monday because their flat iron steak is so worth the half-off price!!! It was cooked and seasoned really well and came with delicious mashed potatoes. I also recommend getting their truffle fries!! Even though I was really full I couldn't stop eating them. Also just want to note that their side of grilled asparagus only came with three so we were sort of disappointed with that portion size. The server was really kind but towards 6pm it got a lot more busy and it took a while for us to get our check. Overall this is a great place to enjoy happy hour as it has a nice interior and both indoor/outdoor seating options.“

“Kilroys is a family restaurant that been here forever. It's casual and has an old-fashioned ambiance highlighted by heavy, dark, wood decor and hundreds of posters, photos, signs and magazine covers from decades ago, back to the 30s or 40s. The food is of good, but not great, quality. No connoisseurs here. Despite finding a sign at the entryway they they were short-staffed, our server was prompt, polite, and helpful. Unfortunately the appetizer we ordered , Crispy Fried Calamari, arrived late, barely warm, and soggy. We complained and the server gracefully removed it both from our presence and the bill. Everything else was delicious. Prices are reasonable ($50 - 70 for 2 without alcoholic drinks)“

“The food here is amazing. They have tons of gluten-free and vegetarian options. My go-to dish is the Chicken Flatuas. They are prepared extremely well, affordable, and have never disappointed me. They also have great fajitas and arroz con pollo. When the restaurant gets busy, the service is a bit more varied, but the staff is very nice. The food comes out fast and tastes delicious. The cocktails are reasonably priced and they have a wide selection to choose from.“
