“One of the best Thai food experiences I’ve ever had! Authentic homey Thai food, friendly people, and super cozy decor! Even though it’s a small and inexpensive place, everything was awesome! The Thai milk tea was very refreshing, the Red Curry was authentic and flavorful, the duck was crispy and seasoned perfectly, the fried chicken was airy and crunchy, and the Khao Soi was my favorite, it was super flavorful and amazing texture! If I had to be nitpicky, the Thai tea was a bit too sweet, the duck was a bit salty and the fried chicken was a bit underwhelming in flavor, but overall the meal was very well rounded. The interior of the restaurant was also very quaint and cozy, with very cool decorations like fresh flowers and some nice paintings. Even all the plates and bowls had great designs (we were joking to see if we could buy one from them lol). The server was super nice and helpful and dishes came out piping hot decently quick. Overall, the best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time, definitely worth a visit!“

“We enjoyed the onion pancake. It's a blown up ball. Very interesting to try. Just flour cooked until it becomes a big hollow ball the size of a small volleyball. The braised potbelly with tea egg looked awesome but was just okay....Not salted enough and the flavor is lacking. The pork belly meat itself was dry. The beef tenderloin lacks flavor and is drenched in a brown sauce, not very authentic Chinese. Pricey for what it is. I would not recommend this plate. We also had the salt pepper shrimp which was very good. We had the pickle chili flounder fish pot. It came with clear noodles and tofu. It was tasty and light in flavor. We got shrimp dumplings, it was perfect texture and consistency and flavor For dessert we got the sweet fermented sweet rice and the glutinous rice cake with brown sugar. Both were interesting. I liked the sweet fermented rice. They make a really good passion fruit green tea with mango jelly. Probably the best I have had.
We came back and ordered the combination fried rice which was not on the menu but something they make. It was delicious. The beef Chow Fun which is the white rice flat noodle with brown sauce. It was delicious. We also ordered the crispy fried pork belly. That was slightly spicy and was tasty but fatty as well. It was nicely done but tasted fatty after a few bites. Dim sum here is delicious. Peking duck is good.

The beef tenderloin over broccoli is essentially a classic beef-and-broccoli Chinese dish. The beef was high quality and flavorful, with plenty of sliced charred garlic—simple and satisfying.
What really stood out, though, was the beef brisket noodle soup. We recommend ordering it spicy if you enjoy a kick. It features a mix of clear noodles and rice noodles, adding great texture. Having tried beef brisket noodle soup at many restaurants in Fairfax, this one is definitely a top recommendation.“

“This place is kind of small hole in the wall. Seats about 14 or so outside and not many more people inside. Nice menu that's not too large or too small. Some Tex-Mex menus have way too many choices. The starter tortilla chips and salsa were top notch. Service all around was excellent. I had the Chicken Chimichanga and it was one of the best I've ever had. It came with rice and refried beans as well as pico, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly, and reasonably priced. The presentation was great as well Can't wait to come back.“

“The staff here are incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made the experience pleasant. The food menu looks amazing and everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. The salteñas were great and definitely something I would order again.

The only thing that wasn’t for me were the alfajor cookies. They were very dense and had a bit too much caramel for my taste. Others may love them if you’re a big dulce de leche fan (which I am), but they were just a little heavy for me.

Overall though, the friendly staff and great salteñas made it worth the visit.“

“I want to take this opportunity to share our experience at your restaurant, Bonefish, on Friday, August 29. Our visit for lunch was a great success. Our group of 7 senior women were served by wait staff who were pleasant and patient as we gathered and took our time ordering their delicious salads. They had a nice selection of salad and soup. We all enjoyed our meals. We were also celebrating 2 birthdays. They offered the birthday girls a selection of deserts that were free for the two celebrants. “I’m only in town for a week, but have already been here twice since it’s short trip from where I’m staying and I enjoy a good brew pub. Ate at the bar both times. Food and service were 💯both times. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and the supreme pizza. Meatloaf was great, pizza’s ok. I tried both their hazy beers and the Freedom and Founders IPAs, all good choices. I’m planning on bringing my husband for my 3rd visit before heading home. Looking forward to having the Stroganoff pasta on my next visit. Would highly recommend for food and craft beer selections.“

“We ate out on the patio which was sunny despite the umbrellas. We had a good combination of sun and shade for those of us who worship and those who avoid the sun.

The service was excellent. Diego, our waiter, was friendly and attentive. The patio is close by the splash park and the kids were playing joyfully in the park - good background noise without being too loud.

We ordered 2 appetizers, the table bread and the calamari. The table bread was a well seasoned, oiled flat bread that was crisp on the outside but tender to eat. It was perfectly made. The calamari was lightly battered, crisp, and not oily. The flavor was excellent. There was also pickled and fried jalapeno chips mixed in which were delicious.

Everyone else ordered a pizza, I ordered a burger. The burger was well seasoned, juicy, and cooked perfectly - I always get my burgers well done. The bun was fresh and light.

Everyone loved their pizzas. The fig and prosciutto pizza had chunks of figs, not just a fig jam. The one person in the group who ordered the cauliflower crust said it was good and crunchy.

We definitely enjoyed the Fairfax / Merrifield Matchbox much more than we had enjoyed the Reston version. I highly recommend.“
