“Our small wedding party (10) dined at Hanover Tavern after our late morning wedding on a Friday! The atmosphere was very nice and cozy and the staff was delightful and attentive. Our server Lisa did an exceptional job taking care of our orders and the food was absolutely delicious, portions were larger than expected, and pricing was fair for the quality of food and service we received. The grounds are very pretty and we loved that we could explore the tavern after our meal and shop from their gift shop. I would absolutely recommend this historical restaurant for those who like pub style dining with comfort food flair. My entire party was 100% happy with our dining experience at the Hanover Tavern!!! Thank you for making my special day even more special!“

“Stopped in for lunch. It was very busy as the hostess was dealing with two large groups. She apologized repeatedly. I understood and was patient (I'm never in a rush to rush others). I ordered the mini burger, chicken tenders and fries for my two children. My wife had the hangover burger with a lemon drop martini. I had the fried fish Gripper (it was huge). The flavor and crust was perfect. They have a great beer selection. There were no IPA's on tap so I had the Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat. Our server, Taylor, was amazing and attended to every requests quickly. Thank you for being awesome!“

“This is my third visit. I've enjoyed the food before and expect today to be no different. I ordered a lamb gyro and spanokopita. Love some spinach and feta. The staff are attentive even at the height of the lunch rush. The place is clean and inviting. My food came so I had to pause writing this review. The gyro was huge. No disappointments.“

“Very friendly staff.This food truck has great breakfast. We tried the breakfast burrito, pancakes, and veggie omelet. All three were great.Pancakes were super fluffy. Scrambled eggs and omelet were not overcooked. The burrito has A LOT of flavor, ask for less salsa and hot sauce if you like things on the lighter side.“

“Awesome diner! We were just driving through and needed a place to grab a late breakfast before continuing on our route. Rise & Shine was the perfect spot!I ordered a veggie omelette with Swiss cheese and it really hit the spot! The omelette was large and full of veggies (peppers, spinach, mushrooms)! It came with a side of crispy hash browns and 4 slices of rye toast. I also ordered a side of fruit which consisted of bananas and grapes.My partner ordered an egg sandwich on a bagel which he also very much enjoyed. Finally, the "free refills" for coffee was a great touch for my tired self.The service was super friendly as well and our server was especially sweet and attentive. Really felt like what an old-such diner experience is supposed to be like!“

“We always have a great breakfast at Cracker Barrel! The food is good and hot, making for a nice start of the day. Service is great as their waitresses are friendly and take our orders promptly and always check on us through out the meal. Even when very busy, the hostess and wait staff take good care of us.“

“I enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi with Spaghetti and would highly recomend. The Spaghetti was a perfect al dente and the shrimp was also cooked to perfection (there is that fine line to over cooked and under cooked shrimp, yet happily this was just right). I also very much enjoyed the scampi sauce. I sat at the bar where TJ as usual gave great service.“

“Delicious breakfast! We went with friends after a 5k and it filled me right up. I had the cinnamon roll to start off and it was giant. It was the perfect. Eating it was like eating dessert before a meal. I had the breakfast burrito and it was very good. It was a big menu to choose from and it seemed like everyone we went with got something different and cleaned their plate. The staff was very friendly and the space was nice!“

“McCoy our server is the best server Kreggers has had in 4 Years. Wonderful customer service, a cut above the others for sure. He makes you feel like family and every need is taken care of before you need to ask. The food here, the burgers are the best. McCoy should train the other servers because he gas a gift many don't have.“

“My last two orders were very salty. I'm not sure why we're adding salt to everything after it's cooked, but its not enjoyable. The fries surprisingly are the only item I've had recently that hasn't been over seasoned. So there's that. The team is great, service when picking up is awesome, your food is just too salty right now. Idk what happened ?“

“Thought they were more of a place that served pub food, but they are actually closer to a higher end restaurant. Even though they do have some sandwiches, their main entrées are more elaborate. The atmosphere is really cool, and we ended up sitting outside. Ashland is such a quaint little town. They're right on the railroad tracks, and a train comes by probably every 15 to 20 minutes or so. Took my family because my wife hadn't seen the new Secretariat statue yet, and she wanted to, so we went there for lunch. It's a pretty big place with lots of feeding inside, a bar area, and then outdoor seating. We got a large pretzel for an appetizer. My daughter got a double cheeseburger, I got the meatloaf dinner, and my mother-in-law and wives split a wedge salad. Overall, the food was pretty good. Not a cheap place, some entrées were in the high $20's and $30 range. Staff was very nice and sweet, but kept forgetting things and didn't come by that often. We waited quite a while for our food, and mine came out cold. Luckily, I don't mind cold meatloaf, but the mashed potatoes weren't that good this way. It's an old staple of the area, so I'd probably try again for more of a special occasion. We did get to see Mr. Jingles, bike ride around and put a little show on.“

“I'm giving 4 stars because the bartender was working hard and responsive, the food was tasty. Mango Habanero wings were good, but could really use use heat! But I'd give it 3 stars based on the fact that I ordered extra jalapeños on my pizza. I was charged $2 extra and I have no problem with paying that but I was given the standard amount for a normal order. $2 worth of jalapeños should equate to a whole lot more. Come on PBR, please don't rip me off!! You trying to nickel and dime us?!“

“Food was good but was behind with like no one in there. Lady who took order messed up price a few times and took a while with a group of us. Food was good but no manager, no one working together,no one cleaning tables was dirty and even sat with it there in front of face. Disorganized for sure“

“Food was good. The only issues were a bit of a wait for the food. I'd recommend calling in your order ahead of time. The only other thing is that there aren't any tables to sit at other than one small 2 person table out front on the porch. Basically if you're only doing take-out then advertise as such. That said, the food is very good, just call in your order for pickup.“

“I booked a room here because it was close enough to DC but not in the heart of it. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. Staff was wonderful, especially William. He helped me with my bags and made sure that I was well informed and gave me food options in the area. I will definitely be staying here again. Hope to see you again William!“

“The staff was courteous, kind and welcoming. The food was an aesthetics compliment to the delicious and perfectly seasoned cuisine. To top it all off the atmosphere was even more soothing with the soft music echoing throughout the restaurant.“

“My Lady and I were in the Glen Allen, VA area to visit some of her relatives and her cousin took us to Suzanne’s for lunch. This was a real treat. I had potato salad and a reuben sandwich and some vegetable soup. The food was 5-Star and the best veggie soup that I’ve had in a very long time. When discussing the rating of the food with My Lady, she was knit-picking until I asked her about the big cookie that she had … her remark… “Off the chart!” Case closed. The ambiance is back-home country and one of us had to sit down at a table to hold our seats while 2 of us went to the counter to order the food. They also call your name when your order is ready and you have to go to the counter to pick it up. There is no table service.“

“I just discovered this place. Love it. Excellent lunch spot, very clean, great decor. I had a loaded hot dog their way (chili, onions and cole slaw & mustard?) with crinkle cut fries. They also have BBQ and chicken salad sandwiches. I'll be back.“

“By hotel restaurant standards, this place is very good. Nice happy hour specials and solid food ranging from salmon to burgers and wings. The nice surprise was the fresh baked hot apple (pie?) that came in a cup with a side of vanilla ice cream. Our server was excellent on a very busy night where he had about 6 full tables.“
