“Had a great time dining at Kumo Sushi! I tried the ramen and it was comforting, flavorful, and well-prepared — a really satisfying bowl. But the real star here is the sushi — absolutely fantastic! Fresh, well-crafted, and full of flavor.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and it truly makes the whole experience even better. If you’re someone who loves good sushi or wants to try it for the first time, Kumo Sushi is definitely worth a visit. Truly an experience you’ll enjoy!“

“The experience was great from the start, largely due to the hostess Dulce! I made a reservation for a surprise birthday and she made sure that the entire thing went off without a hitch! She took the time to make sure all our needs were met and she even followed up with afterwards to ensure the experience was top notch! Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, this type of personalized experience is a lost art. The food was great and service was quick and thorough! My only critique would be their salad bar/appetizer station didn’t have anything really memorable or outstanding; however, I was mostly there for the meat selection anyway so that did not bother me one bit!“

“Absolute amazing place to eat traditional fried American food done right by Americans! The prices are fair and there’s a good variety of drinks and sides. The mac & cheese is amazing no matter what that other guy says. To the guy that said it’s not American owned anymore, it most certainly is I guess you just got a problem on what kind of Americans they are. Also, pretty sure they are Korean. Or at least that’s what my Chinese Buddy tells me! But since it is Asian American owned now we are forced to eat with chopsticks.“

“A friend and I meet at Theisman's restaurant for lunch quite often. I live in Alexandria and she lives in Warrenton so it's a great middle point. We both love the food and the hostesses and waitstaff are excellent. The atmosphere is nice.. the reason I gave it 4 stars is that the music in there was so loud. We decided to sit on the porch thinking it would be quieter and it was such a beautiful day... unfortunately the music was extremely loud out there too and seemed to increase in volume as we were out there for about 2 hours. I noticed a few other people were saying that it was so loud too. We should have said something to the hostess but we had not seen each other in awhile. Wonderful place, but people do want to be able to talk and hear each other. Hopefully, this will get to the right ears ?“

“We recently celebrated our son's high school graduation with a dinner here, and everything was absolutely fabulous. Our server, George, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He handled our party of 16 so smoothly — it felt like we were at a table of four with how attentive and efficient he was! Every guest truly enjoyed their meal, and it was the perfect way to mark such a special occasion. Highly recommend!“

“Seafood Shack inside Whole Foods in Fairfax is a hidden gem for a casual, healthy meal. The ingredients taste super fresh, and the dishes are lightly seasoned to let the natural flavors shine. It feels like clean eating without sacrificing taste. The prices are fair for the quality, making it a great spot to grab something nourishing after a workout or while shopping. Definitely a solid choice—especially if you care about what goes into your food.“

“The service attitude and efficiency (as I had a flight to catch) was what really stood out in a great steakhouse experience. Meats, seafood were all done well and ingredient selection was superior, whether it was the onions baked into the bread, the cheese covering the onion soup or the smoky bacon kiss in the wedge salad“
