“Went to Chen's for lunch today and the food was excellent as usual. Haven't been in years as I live in Chesterfield, but while working in Innsbrook ordered from there for years. It was nice to be greeted warmly, service was prompt and attentive and my Moo Shu Pork was a walk down memory lane. Delicious. Will definitely go again soon.“

“Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.“

“Another favorite Chinese spot of ours in Richmond! These guys have mastered the art of mock meat. Got the Mock Lemon Chicken (amazing) alongside the Mei Fun, Crab Rangoon, and Fried Veggie Dumplings (THESE are must-trys).
Will definitely be back! Very nice too that the staff called after I placed the online order just to be sure I'd ordered from that location. 🙂 🥟🍜“
“The only place in the greater Richmond area that give you want you order. Not something like the dish.. not something that is based on the dish.. no something that only looks good but lacks taste.. NO. This place is no gamble..it is great every time.“

“I came for my birthday and it was so good. Nathaniel’s service was exceptional and really made our experience great. When we come back, we will definitely ask to be seated in Nathaniel’s section. We enjoyed dumplings and chicken lettuce wraps for our appetizers, all entrees were delicious, and dessert was great, especially the peanut butter chocolate dessert.“

“The take out is super good. I live in NJ and go to Va. very often. Being near NYC I know Chinese food. This is excellent. Fresh and truely yummy and great value for the price. On top of all that the service is great and super friendly. They smile and are very nice and that alone makes me come back often. Inside is not beautiful to eat in but for take out it is the best in Richmond and I am a picky eater. Five stars for sure. Go and see, it is super.“

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…
The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.
If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.
Enjoy!“

“Preface: If I ever "look" for somewhere quick to eat, it will be Chinese, and I always order Orange chicken. Some places it's good, others... meh.Lunch break? Of course I'll try a new Chinese take out. I received a pleasant greeting and proceeded with the standard process: order... 10 minutes later food is in hand and I'm whistling back to the truck. Took a short drive to Tuckahoe Creek Boardwalk to relax with scenery.Dragon City Orange chicken is phenomenal!I asked for exxtra spicy and the chef sliced the chilies before tossing em in the mix. Not too sugary, and plenty of orange rinds. Pork fried rice was delicious, fresh and juicy pieces of pork, not some crispy bacon bits. I forgot to ask them to add an egg to the rice, but I can't spoil myself too much.Satisfaction accomplished, thank you!Photo taken down the road at Tuckahoe Creek Boardwalk, check it out!“

“I have been coming here since I was 16, I’m 33 now. This is the ONLY place I will eat general Tso chicken. I have tried it in many places, none make it like here. They are a family owned business and literally the best in business. Everytime I think “oh they probably forgot me”, she always asks how my sister is and reminds me she knows exactly who I am!!! I use to order sooo much from the during my pregnancy that they know my neighborhood and even use to do special treatment with my drinks. Love love love this place. 100000/10“

THE FOOD is really good, we always clean our plates every trip. We were enjoying it so much I forgot to take pictures! The interior is a little dated, but super clean and comfortable. We will keep coming here for family meals.“

“Amazing wings and flavor. The perfect seasoning and blend with their dumplings. A great go to for delivery. I grew up in China Town NYC, and this place knows how to make authentic Chinese cuisine. You get it, or you don’t. I recommend this to anyone not looking for bland.“

“This place is fantastic! You can’t beat the prices, especially the lunch special. The young man who is at the front is always super friendly either in person or on the phone. The food is the best food in the area. And this isn’t just a random review! This is like my 100th order 😂. And I swear these guys are 100/100 with not forgetting a single thing. Whenever I’m in the mood for Chinese it’s no question with my family or friends. We’re getting West Lake.“

“I walked into the store on Christmas Eve at exactly 9:30 PM and was served by a gentleman named Brandon. He greeted me with a genuine smile and handled my order with full attention and dedication. This man deserves a raise! While he could have been in a bad mood working on Christmas Eve, he chose to stay positive and give his best to his customers. The store was packed, and he was fast and efficient. Brandon comes highly recommended—if any other restaurant is looking to hire him, consider this my letter of recommendation.“

“Ordered for the first time New Year's Eve and couldn't be happier. Beef Lo mein was delicious The general tso's was spicy but not enough to burn you a new one and the steam dumplings were excellent. Pork fried rice as an up charge was worth it. I'll definitely come back here and explore the menu. Food was hot. Ready exactly when I asked it to be and staff was friendly and helpful.“

“Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. But your establishments behavior reminds me od a certain Character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. lol interesting that the Walt Disney version of this story Scrooge I'd played by a Duck... 😆😅🤣😂 I'll report back after my husband returns with this golden dinner.“

“I stopped by Panda Express and ordered the honey sesame chicken with super greens — and wow, everything hit the spot. The chicken was perfectly crispy with that sweet, tangy flavor that keeps you going back for “just one more bite.” The super greens were fresh and cooked just right (honestly one of the most underrated sides there).
But the real standout was Angel V. He was fast, friendly, and actually seemed to enjoy what he was doing — which you don’t see often. Super engaging, made the quick stop feel genuinely pleasant. Highly recommend this location — and if you can, have Angel take care of you.“
