“I have been too many Starbucks in my day, but never have I got in the service I received at this particular store. I went to the drive-through on a Saturday morning and the man taking my order was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. He instantly made me smile. And then the woman at the window was the brightest sunshine personified. They truly made my morning so happy. I actually went through the drive-thru twice because I forgot to order an extra coffee, and it was the highlight of my day to go through that line again. I will be returning, if only to have my heart blessed by these two incredible workers.“

“Always someone greeting you with cheer in their voice each visit through the drive thru and in person. The drinks are made with love. You can taste it. Never have I visited this location and my drink turned out disappointing. Quick service. Never have I had to return because something is missing or wrong. So many options for my breakfast run. Java chip my favorite. Gruyere egg bites yum. Double smoked bacon ,cheddar and egg sandwich takes one back. Chocolate croissant you name it! No trip to Paris needed.“

EDIT: RED CUP DAY! I didn't mind waiting for my FREE RED CUP. I used mobile app to order in advance and knew I would have to wait. The drive-thru was insane so I went in and prepared to wait. I watched drink after drink come out and people come and go. Those employees were slinging drinks faster than any bartender I have ever seen. They were under a lot of pressure and did it gracefully. Especially, with the few impatient angry people that came in. If you walk into a business and see it is busy go somewhere else. You are not entitled to be served before all of the other people that have been waiting patiently.

“This is a great location. The service is always friendly and fast, drive thru or pick up inside. I don't know where they find employees that work this hard, but they are almost always busy when I visit and the staff is always killing it!

“Went for my first time on Saturday. Didn't know about it at first, it's a little more timber and country than I'd usually go for, but I was happy to be wrong. They make the biscuits from scratch right in front of you and the guy who brought me my food told me the gravy is also made in the store! I had to come back on Sunday to try the Chix and Waffles, which was absolutely delicious. Crazy big portions and everyone was super friendly! Highly suggest checking it out!“

“Parking sure was easy to find for Coal Mine Coffee and Sweets!

We pulled right up to the front door and parked in a marked spot, for patrons only.

As soon as we entered, the owner greeted us warmly and quickly from the counter. She seated us in a booth, tucked away from the front door.

On the way in, we noticed bagged coffees and tumblers for sale.
It’s a cozy little cafe, with an espresso machine and kitchen to the left of the restaurant.

My husband is the one with a good eye. When he was cruising the menu, he noticed that they served a chocolate chip muffin.
He remembered how much I said I loved those back in college, so my mind was set!

Our server was the cafe owner, and she was friendly and took the time to discuss the menu with us. We appreciated her attentiveness. She walked us through the menu.

When she served my chocolate chip muffin, I was over the moon. Not only did it look the way I had hoped, it was warmed through and through! Melted chocolate chip goodness, here I come.

My husband’s brownie also boasted chocolate chips. It did not disappoint in that category. This brownie had a dense, rich texture, almost like a flourless cake.

As for our beverages, a large home brewed sweet tea was my husband’s pick. How refreshing it was! Not to overpower the chocolate muffin, I opted for a vanilla latte.

It was a smooth, creamy latte and perfect for an afternoon inside.

We enjoyed our trip to Coal Mine Coffee & Sweets! We’d like to go back and try something from the breakfast or lunch menu.

We know we’ll get a great parking spot!

Parking: Parking spots are labeled right out front of the shop. There are 4 or 5 of those. I didn't check, but I bet there is some overflow parking, since there are so many cute shops there.“

No waiting in lines in the drive thru or anything.Not docking any stars because this was truly my fault, but I wish that they had double checked that I didn’t want any sweetener in my latte, but I did not think of the fact that I had to request it, so I got a latte with no sugar/flavor which was very different from what I was expecting. Maybe this is normal practice as I don’t visit Starbucks often, but maybe just having them double check on my order or repeat my order back and mention that I had ordered no sweetener/flavors. Definitely not their fault, but just might be nice to have them ask in the future.“

“these are some of the most friendly staff I have seen at a Dunkin or any fast food restaurant for that matter. As a returning customer so many of the employees know what im getting already which makes it such an inviting place to be at, while there can be times where the wait can be long the only reason for that is because of how understaffed they are, but honestly thats the only complaint that i have and thats out of their control, a very clean store, modern and sleek, and amazing customer service you can tell they make sure to train people on that :)“

Add a tip section to this one because the barista helped me in a pinch when they were busy because I wanted the chocolate covered strawberry frappe but hot and they don't have it standard so off the top of her head she made a hot mocha with strawberry and cold whip on top and even let me add on almondmilk without getting upset. “Went to this place for the first time around 9:30 am on a Sunday. WE LOVED IT! Going in the menu looked delicious and it did not disappoint. Aside from the amazingggg food, service and atmosphere was just as great! Zike helped us from start to finish and was extremely professional. Zike was so helpful during the ordering process offering recommendations, answering questions, etc. My younger sister thought the gravy was too spicy for her palette and they were more than happy to help compensate and make the moment right. we appreciate their kindness so much and wish we could’ve tipped!!! (they don’t receive tips though) Atmosphere is so genuine; fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh and clean ingredients, open view of kitchen and everything made in house, specialty and brewed coffee options, and fast casual service. Saw many different people: families, couples, and people independently reading or working while enjoying the food and coffee. We will definitely be back and on another note it seems like a great workplace and community spot!!“
