The staff is warm, friendly, and provides consistently outstanding service. For the high quality of products, the prices are very reasonable. We find ourselves returning multiple times a month because we love it so much. One of our favorite traditions is having our coffee grounds read each year! It’s a fun and surprisingly accurate experience to share with friends! 😃”

The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!”

“I stopped in for a quick drink and ended up staying longer than planned, much thanks to the incredible service from the bartender, Adrienne. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome with a genuine smile and easygoing conversation.

What stood out most was her pleasant demeanor—friendly without being overbearing, and always approachable. It’s clear she enjoys what she does, and that energy adds so much to the atmosphere. I was unsure of what to order and asked her to surprise me with a drink made with rum and she did not disappoint. Adrienne handled the bar effortlessly and I will be back!”

As soon as anyone in the restaurant needed anything, we witnessed him assisting the service staff to make sure that it was done immediately. He is the type of manager that people dream of! Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.”

“Don't let the simple outside decor fool you. This place is the real deal. Small but mighty, this place is beautifully decorated. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is also great. We had the chicken Kara-age to start, wonton soup, ramen, and also the ramen with Thai coconut curry. It was the right balance between spicy, sweet, and sour. The bathroom is particularly cool, with sound effects and everything. Worth visiting when in Mclean.”

I tried 3 different pizzas: Margherita; Forestiere; and Meat Lover.The Good: If you love thin crust pizza, then you will love aPizza since all of the crusts are thin and crispy! I enjoyed all 3 of the pizzas, and can't go wrong with any of the choices. My favorite of the 3 is the Meat Lover since it provides a good amount of meat options. The taste was flavorful for all of them, and enjoyed each bite. Can't go wrong with their pizza!The Bad: Nothing wrong with any of the pizzas in particular. I wish it had a bit more sauce and cheese as a standard, but you do have the option to pay for extra.Overall, I definitely enjoyed all of the pizzas, and would go back again to try the other pizzas on their menu. Definitely want to try their Cacio e Pepe pizza and BBQ Chicken pizza next time!”

“I hosted a friend’s birthday party at ShipGarten and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff was absolutely amazing. They made the entire planning process easy and stress-free, with clear, quick, and efficient communication every step of the way. They were incredibly accommodating. The food was great, my favorites were the funnel cake fries and the guacamole. The Cider was delicious!!! The venue itself is fantastic for hosting events, and I highly recommend ShipGarten for birthdays, gatherings, or any special occasion. One of the things I love most is that they also host dog-friendly events, which makes the place even more special! I had an amazing time and will absolutely be using ShipGarten for future events!!!”

“Astonishingly good. Can’t go wrong with this order: beef chow fun, Chinese broccoli with garlic, salt fish fried rice with chicken. Always read into the reviews before you dine… this place has bad reviews because of service…which I’ll agree is average.. but the food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We ordered a to go order 30 minutes before closing and it came out perfect. You see this sear on this garlic clove.. I can’t begin to describe the attention to detail to cooking surfaces, heat, and the right amount of oil to sear garlic in this way. Nothing was burnt, veggies were crispy, everything was fresh, beef in the Chow Fun was a melty tender ribeye. Superb… just flawless execution here. This is attentive cooking in high temp woks using fresh ingredients and clean oil.
Will certainly look to dine in next time we’re in Virginia. If you want good service with mediocre food, visit Peking Gourmet… last I checked nobody is ordering Chinese food for the service.”
