“Five stars for the food—my wife and I went for brunch and it was absolutely phenomenal! I had the biscuits with crawfish gravy (not very photogenic, but they were sooo good), and my wife ordered the broccolini & grits. We also shared the breakfast potatoes, which were excellent. Every dish was well-prepared and delicious.

The cocktails, however, were more of a mixed experience. We’d rate them 3.5/5. My $16 Bloody Mary was okay, but nothing exceptional, and my wife’s espresso martini-ish drink was on the same level. They serve cocktails from a little bar cart, bringing your drink in a carafe with an ice bucket for you to pour yourself. While I understand why they see that it could be kind of fun, we didn’t feel it added much and would’ve preferred the drinks were served already put together or that they mix it at the table rather than have all the random glassware left on the table.

The ambiance gets a solid 4.5/5. It was bright, fresh, and inviting—perfect for brunch.

Overall Neutral Ground Bar + Kitchen is a must-visit for brunch!“

The complimentary olives are so great! We can’t find olives as fresh as this restaurant so we often come here just to enjoy the olives. We’ve been to Whole Foods, Wegmans, balducci’s, even Italian stores and nowhere beats the olives here!“

“Today my husband and I had the opportunity to dine at Fleming. The staff was AMAZING! Matt, the manager was on top of every request, need, and want. As soon as anyone in the restaurant needed anything, we witnessed him assisting the service staff to make sure that it was done immediately. He is the type of manager that people dream of! Wish he were on my team. Luis was our server and was great! He was on top of our every need, was attentive, and easily on of the best servers I've ever had. To round out the team, Juan was behind Luis with any additional support that we needed. Quiet professional with great service; Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The ambiance of the restaurant is hard to find in DC. It was quiet enough for a one on one conversation, but energetic enough to make sure that we were not bored. The food was top notch! My stomach hurts because I should have tapped out 15 minutes ago but the food was too good to stop. I'd recommend the Leviathan wine and tomahawk steak. We are big eaters and could not finish our salads and soup, steak, or desserts! My husband highly recommends the French onion soup, Mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts. Overall the service, ambiance, food, and staff were wayyyyyy more than we expected. We look forward to patronizing this location again. I wish I had pics, but we ate too fast.“

“Came for a tasting as part of Tasting Collective and was glad I did. This was truly a great experience. The 5 course tasting had 2 courses (1st & 4th) that needed to be altered as I'm a pescetarian therefore, don't eat duck. So in place of the duck paté, I was served figs and brie and in place of the duck breast I was served branzino. Each course was nicely paired with wine, again adding to this wonderful experience.

The fig and brie with the croutons was delicious, followed by the roasted pear with gouda, pecans and pomegranate sprinkles which was a delightful tasty plate. Who would think white chocolate and cauliflower purée would be delicious and pair beautifully with seared scallops? Clearly Chef Moore did and how right was he. That purée had folks at our table scraping to get all of it. The next course was a substitute dish and was beyond disappointing, especially compared to the other 3 courses. The branzino was BLAND, but the olives that were on the side were extra salty. I thought I was supposed to eat them together, but that didn't help. I couldn't even eat this course. The final course was a butterscotch pudding, a great way to end the meal/night.

Chef Moore was very welcoming. He answered questions and took pictures with the guests.

I'll definitely add this to my list of restaurants.“

“Polish Food at Home on Weds: Simply fabulous! We did this last night for 6 and Wow, and the chef knocked it out of the park!

First, the meals are packaged very well in the containers. Wonderful presence in how the food was arranged. Stayed nice and hot.

Sausage: the presentation was so impressive (the decorative cuts were SO impressive). The kielbasa was SO mouthwatering (very different than sausage at the store).

Bigos (cabbage mixture) was incredibly tender and all melded together.

Butternut squash soup was the best we have tasted. Loved the extra cubes of roasted squash. Didn't seem like it had cream, either, which was appreciated.

Dill slaw: delightfully fresh dill made the flavor "pop." Loved that it wasn't full of mayo.

pierogis: delicious

Grasshopper pie: Oh my! The pie was the most divine dessert ever. Incredibly good texture in the filling and the choc/mint topping was a nice touch. Fabulous job on the chocolate crust, Chef!

All 6 of us (different generations) agreed that the meal was really outstanding! Thanks so much for offering it.“

“The food at Ceibo is creative and delicious. We enjoyed eveything, sharing the hamachi, eggplant, dumplings and sea bass. The dumplings are unusual, served in a delicious broth. The emulsion served with the sea bass was amazing. The wine list is reasonable and includes great choices by the glass. The service is friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. The dining room is attractive, but because of the tile floor, once full it is a little loud, but not to the extent that you'll have difficulty hearing your dinner companion across the table. Dinner at Ceibo is a lovely way to spend an evening.“

The Escargots were indulgent, with garlic Pernod butter enhancing their tender richness, while the Onion Soup transported me to Paris with its flavorful broth and golden, cheesy crust. “I cannot recommend Bottles Wine Garden enough! This is a women-owned establishment with some very interesting, exquisite, and reasonably-priced wines. We tried an Australian white and a French Syrah blend that were some of the best that my friends and I (regular wine consumers) have tried in DC. Furthermore, the customer service at this place was incredible. Erika, our sommelier, was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, and Stephanie took such good care of us! The place is small but cozy, with a lovely garden for outdoor seating, the perfect environment for an intimate gathering with friends and loved ones. We tried several small plates and all were tasty - the fig and burrata flatbread and charcuterie were especially delicious. Will return for the customer service alone!“

Felt like a very high-end fine dining experience, with everything cooked to perfection. Dinner menu 80 dollars per person was awesome, I recommend getting shrimp pajeon, corn cheese, octopus salad, cold noodle, and patbingsoo. soft crab soup had more sweet taste so it wasn't as good as I thought, and beef fried rice was mid. Meat was high quality, and the visual when they bring out is STUNNING. Wow bravo this restaurant, they will open one in 14th street in DC and I can't wait to try that experience.“
