“My husband worked at a Baskin Robbin’s as a teen in San Joaquin Valley in California decades ago. He loves coming to this store in Reston, it brings back fond memories of ice cream on a hot summer day. This store is small but has a nice variety and the servers are always helpful.“

Art was so friendly and offered ice cream and sorbets free of allergens, dyes, and made with real, whole ingredients. I ordered a single scoop of Mango Sticky Rice ice cream (yeah, really... Yum) in a house made waffle cone. The first impression walking in was the warm smell of waffle cones. They're offered at a very fair price! My cone didn't leak at all because it was well folded at the tip.
Art worked quickly to get through our large party. Also, the bathrooms are very clean! Only customers are allowed to utilize this service. Overall very happy with this shop. Jubilee ice cream is a must stop for anybody, tourists and locals alike.“

“This is the classic RTC spot. A go-to for afterschool treats every year starting second grade. The cardamom flavor rocks… There’s almost no reason to go to RTC anymore post-covid and paid parking, but Pitango has stuck around, outlasting Red Velvet, Busara, Big Bowl, Mon Ami Gabi, and even Clyde’s… once it closes I may never return. It’s criminal what Boston Properties has done to Reston Town Center, which for me was more than the center of Reston, it was the center of the world, nay, the universe. Even Pitango’s long-time neighbor The Counter has disappeared. I fear RTC’s Pitango may not be long for this world, would like to return sometime soon. Vintage photos attached“

“Took my kiddo there last night and as soon as we tried it, we knew this is our new favorite local ice cream! Absolutely delicious, perfectly creamy and not too sweet. And then, the cherry on top: we ordered two more cups to take home to the rest of the family and we noticed that one came out with a much smaller scoop than the other. Wasn’t going to say anything about it (the scoops are very generous to begin with), but then out of nowhere a couple comes over and tells us they are going to get us an extra scoop. And within seconds, they did! We were too shocked to talk with them more but a little sleuthing online when we got home revealed they were the owners! This act of generosity and customer service made a big impact on my kiddo (and me) and cemented this place as our new favorite! Can’t wait to go back!!“

“I know for the same price I can get my own pint of Haagen Dazs. But it’s one of the few treats I really let myself indulge in. I come here after a big accomplishment at work or need a pick-me-up. I get the chocolate cone with sprinkled peanuts and two scoops of coffee ice-cream - and it’s the best. Nothing hits the spot quite like it. Staff are super friendly. From time to time I may try another flavor. The coffee chip is good too. But I usually revert back. Moments of happiness seem priceless.“

“The gelato I had was absolutely delicious! While it wasn't as creamy as Pitango's, I really enjoyed the variety of flavors they offered. I ordered a three-flavor cup and chose Black and White Cookie Batter, Dark Chocolate Fudge, and Dulce de Leche Chip. Each flavor was delightful! The restaurant was quite busy, which was a good sign considering its prime location near shopping stores and not far from Chinatown. I say this as someone who visits custard shops all over the United States. We live in our motorhome and travel the country. Every place we go we look for custard places. Not that big of a deal except the chocolate chip is the only one of my family member will eat. Also every time I ask this location to add a special note it never gets done. Tried contacting support, but it didnt work. Next time I guess ill save the extra $5 delivery fee and go in myself so I can verify I got what I paid for.“

From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with the warmest smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. She was patient, friendly, and so knowledgeable about the flavors. Not only did she offer great recommendations, but she also made the whole experience so fun and memorable.

Anna’s dedication to customer service truly shines, and it’s clear she goes above and beyond to make sure every guest leaves happy. It’s rare to come across someone so attentive and kind in a busy shop. Jeni’s is so lucky to have someone like Anna representing their brand – she’s an absolute gem!

“Haagen-Dazs is probably one of the most expensive ice cream places that I have been to, almost $8-$9 after tax. However, what makes them stand out from other ice cream stores is that they don’t use artificial ingredients, and their ice cream is a bit bold and dense compared to other ice cream brands. I really like their Belgian chocolate, because of the creaminess, richness of the chocolate.

I would say the service is great even though there is usually a big crowd waiting for their ice cream, especially when it gets closer to closing time. However, regarding the atmosphere, it feels a little cramped to be eating ice cream, especially with such limited seating. The staff aren’t the friendliest and gave a bit of an attitude when I asked about nuts, with no clear answer, but it panned out because the ice cream actually didn’t have nuts.

Vegetarian options: Not clear on vegan options.

Kid-friendliness: could make more profits if they started selling kids’ sizes.“

“I recently visited Cafe Bdan in Centreville. The location is conveniently located next to Hmart. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for either a relaxed solo visit or catching up with friends.

I am a big fan of gelato and when I tell you this is TOP SHELF w/ a side of phenomenal customer service I mean it. “If you’re looking to try some authentic Vietnamese snack or boba style street food, you have to check this place out!

It’s one of my favorite spot. I love their house made toppings which I can’t find anywhere else (especially chestnut boba, and khuc bach). I highly recommend their Lemongrass Peach Tea, Milo Egg Flan, Thai Lime Green Tea, and Milk Tea TomTom 2. For food, you should try Bánh Tráng Trộn and Bánh Mì Nướng Muối Ớt. You won’t be disappointed, definitely worth it.
