“The bartenders are great and friendly enough given the size of the bar and restaurant as a whole. Prices are reasonable, and the drinks are tasty. Yard House is a nice relaxed spot to go solo for a nice dinner, fun and exciting enough to hit for HH, chill enough to bring your kids. Overall, it's a solid spot. Parking is a bit tight, but you can usually find a space during the week. Located in Springfield Mall.“

“Outstanding restaurant & bar inside the Embassy Suites. First off, their breakfast offering is beyond reproach. Great entrees & service. The dinners are also fantastic. It's a great feeling to have a restaurant in your hotel where you can have a great meal, a few drinks & zero worries. Their breakfast is from 6 am - 9 am on weekdays & 7 am - 10 am on the weekends. They also offer an evening social hour. If you're a guest of Embassy Suites their room service hours are 11 am to 11 pm, everyday including weekends.“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . “Had a great pre-flight last dinner in DC and everything was delicious! We were lucky enough to eat during happy hour where we had great deals on our drinks and noticed different happy hour offerings were available each night of the week. Wings, Birria egg rolls, and beef bulgogi all came out exceptionally fast and each a hit at our table.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“We had an amazing and beautiful experience at the Firefly restaurant Friday.

We came in earlier around 6:30 it was our anniversary and the service from our host and waiter was exceptional. They seated us at a nice table and immediately served us with cold water and good service was fast and top quality. The waiter was really nice to us and the food especially was delicious.

We ordered the filet mignon with Brussels sprouts and truffle fries and the firefly burger with truffle fries. By far one of the best meals of my life, the steak was tender and cooked perfectly to our desires. The firefly burger patty was tasteful and extremely well balanced.
We particularly loved the truffle Parmesan fries, they were fresh and crunchy, Parmesan flavor at the forefront with a light truffle taste left in your mouth. Delicious and one of the highlights of the meal.
We ordered dessert which was crème brûlée, side note I’m from France, but the crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had crunchy not burnt and the cream light, the restaurant even offered it as a gift for our anniversary.

Overall our experience was perfect and we had nothing bad to remark, thank you to the staff for making our night perfect.

“Very satisfied on my first visit to Ellie Bird. We came for Brunch for my wife’s birthday. The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. Also highly recommend the Ellie Bird Latte. Glad we came, we will be back for more!“

“We were tired from touring all day and the clerk at Springhill Suites recommended an Italian place “just around the corner”. As we got closer, we could detect delicious smells in the air. As we entered, a cheery staff greeted us, and the cozy space was decorated with lots of photographs and traditional green and white checked tablecloths. We were offered fresh garlic bread while we looked over the menu. We both decided on the “individual” pizza, but let me tell you, us 2 ladies could’ve easily just split one! “The food appears... lesser quantity than in DC. The biscuits were smaller, and harder. I saw no bacon. The sausage (pork or chicken) was not "week done" as with the DC restaurant. Also there wasn't any shrimp. I got there at 9:am, and was told reservations were needed. So I Sat at the bar. Def a 3.5 rating on food here“

“A solid restaurant, servers are responsive. We visited during brunch so they were very busy. We order a variety of dishes. We were satisfied with most except the grits. The dishes with grits are not made in a southern style grit. It’s a completely different grit . So if you like southern style grits these grits will not be for you.
