“I think the concept is great but could use some improvement. The shawarma meat is a bit tough to eat in a taco so I think they should work on making the meat a bit softer otherwise the food was good. If I happen to eat here again and they improve on the meats tenderness I will edit this review to give a full 5/5 otherwise until then 4/5.“

“Corndog was great, right amount of breading and cheese.Fries was great, they were golden brown and crispy.Mango lemonade was sweet.Chicken wings were decently sized. However, I wished the seasoning stuck to them. The honey gathered at the bottom. I just dipped the wings in the honey but wings need stickier seasoning.Still definitely worth a try though.“

“I stopped by yesterday to purchase some tacos, I got a mix of them. These are the best tacos I’ve gotten, they were juicy and it was a good amount of protein. I also like the cleanliness of the work station as well as the store.
The service of the server Senia was excellent.
I would definitely go back to this District Taco often.“

“Fantastic place for really good farm to table vegetarian food. This was a stop on a good tour of DC. The atmosphere is friendly and lively. The staff is fantastic. The food is amazing. I had a delicious taco that unfortunately I don't remember the name of 😑, but I did take a picture. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!“

“Open late and everything tasted so fresh and authentic! We were looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and a friend recommended Picamas since they lived nearby. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was so good. The tortilla was really soft and the chicken was so flavorful and went really well with the rice and veggies in the burrito. The owner was so friendly and they really made an effort to prepare our meal for us. Overall great food and we’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Taco Bamba was playing some rocking music when we ordered our Tacos on a great fall day. The portions are reasonable and not huge. Flavor instead of large size, with several tasty dressings you choose yourself, after preparation. The quesadillas with carne asada were packed with flavor and quality sear.“
“I enjoyed 3 tacos al pastor. I like that the taco meat wasnt spicy in itself and was given a side of hot as an option. I think a menu price would be great.. small limited menu I dont think they offer drinks (there’s a 7 eleven right up the street) but overall pretty good no frills spot & will definitely go again next time I am in that area“

“Hey, you guys I went here for my first time. I’m from LA. I’m used to Mexican food and not many places are out here but this one wild taco place with Greek catch my eye seen the pictures online and they look freaking good so I decided to go in And buy my surprise. There was only three people it was empty and the people were white, so I’m asking myself OK I wonder how this is gonna taste but the service was magnificent. Very nice. The lady explained to me the menu which was extremely helpful and nice and when I got my food, it was to go. I couldn’t wait. I ordered a Greek taco. Holy moly. I am in love this Greek taco the beef all the vegetables. Everything was just outstanding beautifully marinated meat and then I had a quesadilla holy moly it was a giant and very, very good a little bit greasy But other than that, they put a good portion of meat cheese total experience with this place one out of 10 I give it a solid nine and I don’t do that for anybody. This just surprise me who was cooking the food which was a young teenager that look like but wowthe ingredients in the food were fresh outstanding beautiful combination and good. Definitely will go back and try their burritos and other sorts of tacos it’s worth trying to come here folks very very good food two thumbs up. Great job you guys.“
“I can’t rave enough how delicious their food is. A hidden gem that’s packed with delicious reasonably tasty food. There’s like 2-3 other taco trucks in the area but I feel loyal to this one because the quality of the food is 10/10 as well as the customer service. Pictures of are the soles de carne (I had already ate two but you can see they don’t skimp) and tacos al pastor“

“It's an absolute MUST if you love Americna twists on traditional delicious Mexican food. I just arrived a few hours ago from Mexico, so I'm coming from good authority when I say you HAVE GOT TO try this place. The salsas were a little underwhelming, but the rest of the menu is stellar! The bar tender was a gem and even handled a Karen very respectfully but was hilarious. It was a clean, fun, and overall wonderful experience with food, staff, and atmosphere.“

“this was the BEST pho I’ve ever had!! I got their Banh Mirria Sandwich, and it was the most delicious thing i ate all week. The bread was soft and fresh, the beef and cheese were scrumptious. Highly recommend! I’ll be following them around the US for the rest of my life“

“The BEST Mexican food truck in the area! It is super authentic and always fresh. The food is amazing but in particular they’re made to order tamales. You have to contact the owners wife and get a minimum of 12 either chicken, pork, or rajas but trust me it’s worth it!“

“1st time trying there tacos. Ordered one carne asada and 1 bulgogi. The carne asada was average. I really enjoyed the bulgogi with their side sauce. Was like a yum yum sauce with a slight kick. There other sauces were good too. The red one was extra hot! I did go for lunch on a Sunday. Would recommend breakfast tacos/burritos!!! Maybe a brunch themed menu on the weekends. Specially in this area we love our brunches!!! I’ll be back to try a few more items.“

“I enjoyed dining at this pupuseria. It was the first time I had been back since it was called the Magic Skillet years ago. Luckily, the restaurant still has all of breakfast menu items from back in the day Plus some classic Latin dishes. My friend ordered the traditional southwest omelet. I ordered a chicken pupusa, a tamal and a taco Al pastor. The pupusa was a 5/5. It was amazing! The tamal and taco were good, 4/5. My friend loved his menu choice. Prices are very fair as well. We’ll definitely be back.“

“In my opinion, these are the best tacos in the area, and made me feel like I was in Southern California. The lengua, mixto, and el pastor are all amazing and come with the perfect accoutrements and both green and red sauce. Also, each time I’ve visited this truck, all of the workers have been so friendly and welcoming. El Chilango is always my first recommendation to people looking for delicious and authentic tacos“

“Saw the feature in CBS Saturday Morning show while traveling and was going to be near there later that same evening so was able to indulge. Delicious, quality food at very reasonable prices. The roast pork was perfect!“

“Best Latin American food that I have ever had. It's near where I live. I will be back as a routine customer. I went to another restaurant nearby that sells Mexican food. The restaurant had a higher rating but the food was worse and much more expensive. I almost didn't come to Pupuseria because of the rating. My theory is that many people haven't put up positive reviews for their good experiences. Glad that I tried and I hope you do. If you do enjoy it like I did, I hope that you put up a review too. They deserve more than a 4 star rating. It's really good.“
