“Oh wow such a hidden gem. The food was amazing ask for TJ. He was amazing. Great service and so attentive. We enjoy our food so much. The curry puffs were so good the apps was 10/10 that I tried. I didn’t try the crab Rangoons or dumplings since it had shrimp & crab in it. I wanted all chicken. Such a cute experience I will come back. The food was busin busin.“
“Ordered off the lunch specials menu. Good selection, fast service. I like that they have tofu as on of their protein options. Tasty green curry and veggie spring rolls. Companion enjoyed chicken pad thai.Vegetarian options: Tofu is listed as one of the proteins-you don't have to ask for special prep of a dish without meat.Parking: Very limited parking midweek at 1pm.“
“Make no mistake - this is the Padaek location to go to if you have a choice, not the Arlington one. The Arlington one is significantly closer to my place but I always end up making the trek out to Falls Church because the OG location is simply better. Recommendations: the Naem Khao rice salad is crispy, crunchy, savory and delicious - I recommend getting it with the tofu, even if you're a meat eater like I am. I order the Ping with pork shoulder literally every time, because it's a fantastically heaped plate of seared meat with a nice mildly spicy dipping sauce. It also comes with a bag of tasty sticky rice that makes a low-carb eater like me abandon my low-carbness, at least for one meal. Padaek Falls Church will always be on my list of places to take out of towners.“
“Wonderful little place. The decor is cheerful and attractive, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent.I asked for them to remake an order because I ordered while they were closed and but they made it anyway and we're waiting for me and I just didn't pick it up when I saw the closed sign. It was completely my mistake, not theirs. Not only did they offer to make it right multiple times, even though there was nothing to make right since it was my fault, but they insisted on giving me a free Thai tea anyway. They recognize me every time I come in. I always feel so welcome here. My coworker and I frequently get lunch here. Tofu is prepared really well and they actually have some of the only Thai tea in the area that has the right balance of milkiness.“
“My experience at Happy Thai was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The combination of delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service made for a truly memorable evening. I highly recommend Happy Thai to anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine and an unforgettable dining experience.“
“Jackpot! I've been at this plaza every other week for a year and never noticed this spot. Thank goodness we decided we found this place as we searched for a new Thai spot to try. The food was just outstanding! The perfect amount of zest in the Tom Yum soup, authentic flavors and chewiness of the Phad Thai, and the super crispy, but moist, fried chicken served with the gai grob massaman. The servers were incredible attentive and carried a positive attitude. Like I said, we never noticed the spot from the outside... but as soon as we entered - the place was packed and buzzing with positive energy. Definitely making this a frequent spot for us. Great food, good price, great service!“
“Our server was amazingly attentive and friendly. The food was delicious - we ordered a variety of items and everyone was very pleased with their order.Vegetarian options: There is a good amount of vegetarian options, definitely recommend for a vegetarian.“
“This restaurant is the BEST Thai restaurant in all of Fairfax. And I have had tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area. Their pad Thai is perfection, and their sushi is so beautiful it almost pains me to eat it because it's so beautiful but it's DELICIOUS. They also have great customer service and had our order ready quick and efficiently.“
“Court side Thai is a great cozy place in downtown Fairfax. Very cute entrance. The Thai food was fantastic, I got typical pad Thai, but with scallops which were amazing. My wife got the pineapple fried rice which she also enjoyed. The court side Thai dumplings for an appetizer were perfect.“
“After hearing great reviews, we were eager to try out this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful ambiance. The Thai design elements, including large fixtures on the ceiling, added a unique touch to the décor. While the food looked and tasted good overall, it was a bit too sweet for our personal preference. Nevertheless, the service was fantastic and contributed to a great overall experience.“
“I made the mistake of not making a reservation here for dinner on a Saturday night. Even so, the hostesses were kind enough to fit us in at the bar. There was still full service and we got to watch the bartenders make beautiful cocktails. We wanted to try everything on the menu. Started with the pie tee, I ordered the Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang while my fiancé ordered the Curry Laksa noodles, and we finished with some pandan crème brûlée and coconut ice cream. Overall very filling, amazing quality of food and service, and definitely lived up to their name of making a good (Southeast) Impression.“
“Stumbled upon this absolute gem while exploring Eden Center. All four dishes we got: tofu pad Thai, beef drunken noodles, beef boat soup and pork belly with green beans, were amazing! This is the definition of a hole in the wall and we are so grateful we found it! We are already planning our next trip!“
“I found this place one night when I was walking up the street. They were closed for the evening and I made a mental note to return. Sure enough, the next evening I was there. The food is delicious. I had the Pad See Ew. The hot, broad rice noodles, with Chinese broccoli, and chicken were just what I needed on a cold, rainy night. There was a slight spice to it. I wanted to steer clear of too spicy. The menu offers Thai and Sushi. I believe there are some Asian-fusion dishes? There were many things I wanted to try. The Cousins were friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.“
“I usually come here on Friday nights to eat, drink and vibe to the music from the live DJ. But for some reason the speakers are messed up tonight. Can barely hear a thing. The vibe isn’t the same. I hope they can fix the speakers soon or I may have to find another spot to vibe at on Fridays.“
“A wonderful new location for a fine local restaurant. We've done carry out several times and dined-in this weekend. The menu now seems to be larger with more variety than it was in the previous, tiny location. Food is superb. Service great. Another fine dining choice in McLean.“
“Undoubtedly, this is the best Thai restaurant in the DMV. They consistently serve the most authentic Thai dishes with exceptional taste and flavors. I have no complaints and highly recommend this place to everyone!Food: Endless menu items and delicious. They offer familiar Thai dishes like Pad Thai and papaya salad and unfamiliar Thai dishes that other places don't have. What I like most about their food is that they use authentic spices and recipes that are close to the original taste.Ambiance: Cozy and warm. The place is decorated with nostalgic Thai elements from childhood snacks, etc.Service: Top-notch professional waitresses that go above and beyond.“
“Second time here with my husband and I absolutely love this place. Their food is amazing. Love their asian rolls and curry Puff appetizers. Definitely recommend. Love the spiciness of their dishes and the levels of spiciness they offer. Their Thai tea is so full of flavor and so delicious. If you have not visited this place, you should. It won't disappoint. Great service. Friendly staff. The mango sticky rice dessert is out of this world. So delicious!!!“
“I like this place. The food is good, with vegan and gluten-free options!(I have had *better* Thai food. All of Finn Thai's curry has fish sauce in it and can not be made vegan=no 5 star rating.)(Now that I think of it.... when I say I have had better Thai food, maybe it's because I'm comparing it to curry dishes I have had elsewhere, when here I was unable to have curry. Maybe I just like curry better? Lol. I'm just trying to be completely honest!)The food always comes out super fast!! Like, always surprisingly fast!! On Valentine's Day, for example, we went before the dinner rush (there was only one other table seated in the restaurant when we arrived), and without buying alcohol we were in and out in under 45 minutes! (I mention not having alcohol because if we were also taking time to enjoy drinks, it probably would have taken longer)Takeaway: In my experience, great for a quick *real* meal. Early dinner times always seem like a great time to go/not busy. Will be back. This is the closest restaurant to where I currently live with vegan/gluten-free options.Vegetarian options: Definitely ask!! A lot of dishes don't necessarily have tofu listed as a protein option, but in my experience, they are happy to use tofu instead of meat.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free and vegan options! All of the curry has fish sauce in it, which sucks as that is my favorite Thai dish. I don't remember everything being labeled well on the menu, but definitely ask! The servers are always knowledgeable, in my experience, and can help guide you to something appropriate for you!I have not been "glutened" here!Parking: The parking lot directly in front of the restaurant is small, but every time I visited, there were plenty of spots. The restaurant is in the back of a large shopping/business area, so there is plenty of free parking around, but if it is busy, you may have to park a bit farther.Wheelchair accessibility: There are steps up to the restaurant. Like... more than just a few steps.“
“We were here very recently and enjoyed every aspect of our meal. Very homely, fresh vibes with clean tables and decorative plants spread throughout. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Food came out fast (appetizer first), then meals. Not a ton of rice, but meal portions were large! We had the crispy green beans, chicken green curry, and fried pork. Everything was delicious, vegetables tasted so fresh and each dish, so flavorful. Curry was incredible, but will likely order spice level 2 next time as 3 was just slightly too hot (but not unbearable).Thai iced tea offered a sweet balance to the savory and spicy flavor from the food.Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the authentic thai dishes!“
“Duangrats is first in class in every category. We are loyal costumers as they are consistently outstanding in food and customer service.Vegetarian options: Those without meat protein.Dietary restrictions: They have plenty of vegetarian options.Parking: Lots of parking on site.Kid-friendliness: Have taken our children and grandchildren fir a birthday party. When I brought a cake they took it from me and served it to 17 of us. Very impressed with their service and genuine kindness.Wheelchair accessibility: Always park right in front and have easy access.“
“I always enjoy going to Elephant Jumps Thai restaurant for their food. I usto work across the street back in the days and found out about this restaurant. I have tried a different meal every time I have ordered from here and have never been disappointed. I have moved to Woodbridge and I still make the drive when I want to get some Thai food.“
“I recently discovered a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant in Arlington, Virginia, and it exceeded my expectations. Intrigued by the chef’s recommendation, I tried the Kuay Teaw Koow Gai, a delightful noodle dish. The flavors were exceptional, and if you’re seeking authentic Thai cuisine, I highly recommend this place for a delicious culinary experience.“
“Outstanding Thai, especially if you need spicy. We were celebrating multiple life events. The staff was welcoming and anticipated our needs. My only concern was the condition of the restaurant, the ceiling tiles were stained and sagging. Mom reported a sanitary & spotless ladies room.We ordered appetizers. The curry chicken appetizers were wrapped in a delightful flaky crust that melts in your mouth. My son ordered medium heat drunken noodles. The dish was hot, even for chili-phile and spice-iphile in our party! The seafood dish -found on the Pad Thai page -was loaded with shrimp, mussels, squid and scallops for $20! The courses arrived hot, together and quickly. The coconut chocolate chip ice cream was divine. Topped off the meal with Thai coffee and tea. All of this fairly price. All four of took home a doggie bag for a second meal.Parking: Free parking lot in the back of the building periodKid-friendliness: Family friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: the back of the building is not wheelchair accessible. The front is accessible.“
“This is the 1st time back since the pandemic. The atmosphere is quiet. The dining room is super clean. I was promptly seated and my order taken. The staff was very attentive without hovering too much. I had the shrimp pad Thai, kanoom jeeb, and the spring rolls. The apps came out quickly and piping hot. The pad thai followed a few minutes later. I have always enjoyed coming here. Would return all the time if I could. My only issue is the spring rolls could have been drained more (better). Will come back again and more often to try new things.Parking: The lot can fill up quickly as there are other businesses.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 handicap spaces in front of the restaurant.“
“My family and I come here at least twice a month and would be here weekly if we lived closer. They have the best sushi in NOVA. We’ve tried several places and this is the only place that comes close to sushi we’ve had on the west coast. Their fish is always fresh and they season their rice to perfection. They have lots of tasty looking dishes on their menu but the sushi is so good we have yet to try anything else.“
“Loved it! Had the Pad Ped with ground chicken after getting a recommendation from the lady working there. Normally, I always get the Pad Krapow. My meal was really good- hot, fresh, and well prepared. I was very pleased with the service I received. I will definitely return here. I just wish they opened a little bit earlier on Sundays. They don't open until 4:30 p.m.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.“
“Best Thai restaurant in America.Especially, fried rice was no difference that I tried in Thailand. One of the best thai restaurant i’ve visited. This is the most delicious Thai food I've had in the United States. It suited the Korean taste very well, and I especially liked the somtam. I highly recommend it to everyone who visits here. It was much more delicious than the food I ate in Thailand!“
“I’ve been going here for a decade. I always call and order and it’s always ready before I get there. The food is excellent and consistent. I love their Kraprow chicken, green curry and everything else! For every micro center visit this should always be a stop!“
“The Thai dishes are very flavorful and the spicy dishes come with a nice punch! The Pad Thai has an extra flavor of citrus (lemon) which allows you to have more and more without feeling heavy. You can taste the "wok heat" from the Pad See Ew dish. The spice will wake you up but you don't suffer. The folks there are super nice and friendly. This is a revisit spot for sure.“
“The food here is superb, and has the freshness of Thai cuisine, especially their Pad Khing Sod. Lunch specials are reasonably priced at $9.25, which is hard to find among Thai restaurants in the DMV. I also like the Pad Kra Prao Talay, which tastes just like Bangkok.Service was really nice, and the restaurant is really clean. It can be hard to miss, however, if you don't go past the Giant, but once you find it, I definitely recommend coming here for a great dining experience.“
“Their sushi is very good, I have already eaten there several times and have also ordered takeout. The quality of the ingredients are good and fresh. Compared to other places, its price seems more than good to me for its quality.Once I ordered rice that came with shrimp and it was also very good. It's a nice atmosphere and the service is good.Only once did a girl who served us seem to forget our table and we had to be careful to call her to come to us, but otherwise they have good service.“
“Great food! Got the Crispy Basil Duck and it was so good. The flavor got better and better as the meal went on. I have tried crispy duck at other places and they're ok but this is why crispy duck is a thing. Great staff and owner gave great suggestions. I hear the Panang curry is awesome also so I will have to try that next time.“
“After reading good reviews, we recently dined at this restaurant and were impressed. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious, with flavors. Moreover, the menu had a wide variety of food options. The drinks were also excellent, and the service was good. The interior was eclectic, with large graphics on the wall, artificial plants, small decorative pieces, and combinations of colors. Overall, we had a satisfying dining experience and would recommend this restaurant to others.Parking: There is a free parking space in front of the building, and it gets packed fast.“
“Just came here for lunch with a coworker and the place was completely empty. I think part of it was because we did come a little early (11:40am-ish), but left at 12:30pm and still no other people ate inside. There were people picking up orders or door-dash deliveries, etc. In any case, we sat down and the service was very fast and courteous. I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it arrived promptly (and super hot too!). The portions were decent and our water was filled once. It was super quiet, so not sure how the vibe is on a Friday or Saturday night. When we paid, the waitress (who I think may have been the owner?) arrived with a ipad where we simply tapped our credit cards and put in a tip. NGL, I like to tip in cash, so I preemptively took out my cash to show the waitress I was not going to forget tipping her, all the while I tapped "no tip" - even though I did tip her! Haha. Overall, a great lunch spot and I will definitely come back here. My only thing I would comment is that there are not a lot of parking spots in front of the restaurant.“
“Best Thai restaurant in Falls Church by far. The food is always warm and prepared deliciously. When dining in, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the hosts are very attentive and kind. Never had any issues with ordering online either. I recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing Thai food in NoVA.“
“This is the pricier Thai place in the area. I would just get takeout next time due to strong smell from neighboring nail salon. Staff was friendly but one of Thier phones behind the counter from where we were sitting was ringing for 30 minutes which was distracting to my table.“
“I absolutely love this new Thai place at Harrison Street! I got takeout recently and ordered a handful of items new to me--I particularly enjoyed the "Ped Grob Pad Gra Pow" (or crispy honey duck with basil). I also got some of the classics including Pad Thai which were great. When I arrived for pickup, I was the only one there but a few others arrived also to pickup. It appeared to be a husband-wife-duo running the establishment and they both came out to say hi and were extremely friendly and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes for a very large order. I will most definitely be going back!“
“Dropped in after a massage next door. I was looking for a light meal. I ordered the ThomKa soup, with shrimp and the Kanom Jeab steamed dumplings. Both were delicious. The soup had a nice touch if spice. The dumplings came with a light dipping sauce. I'll be back“
“The food is really good, and the service is friendly and fast, but the decor/ambience feel a bit dated, or cheaper than average. From the tabletops to the plates and silverware , most things around you feel on the cheaper side, which is a shame, especially when the food is that good.“
“Wow - This is definitely a notch above the other Thai restaurants in the area. The layout of the menu is perfect for meat eaters and vegetarians. There are 2 fresh beers on draft. Also, the service is stellar - they remember their regulars and the place feels like an upscale family owned and operated restaurant. I would say the drunken noodles are amazing, but after trying several dishes, pretty much everything is great on the menu and the taste really varies between dishes. This place is a hit.“
“This is the best Thai restaurant in the United States. I haven't found anything on the menu I don't like. My favorites are the pad kra pow with beef, Tom yum with soft tofu, shrimp cakes, and any of the curries. But nothing compares to the corn cakes. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. They also are great for carry out.“
“Hands down the best Chinese cuisine I ever had. Got the orange chicken for lunch and it was delicious. Ate every bite. Authentically made and made with love, sweet tangy and savory. And of course the fried rice was delicious. They get a 10/10 from me. I ordered pickup and it was only 15 minutes from the time I placed my order. Very friendly and nice. Might have to get it again for lunch tomorrow!“
“This is one of my go to places for pad thai. I forgot to take a picture because my boyfriend and I ate it so fast! The sushi is okay, more like a 3.5/5 but I do enjoy the sashimi and the rolls that they give. They recently painted the inside again to be a bright yellow ceiling with pictures along the wall which is really nice to look at while eating. The service is always so good and it's a small business that I love supporting!“
“Fantastic hole in the wall right in our back yard. Stumbled on this place last week and then went back 3 days later. The food is incredible, portions generous, prices reasonable and staff is kind. Other places, the Pad Thai is dry but Thai Thai uses a lot of very flavorful sauce on theirs! Clearly run by a family with their own recipes.“
“Everything was great and nice! Walked in on a Friday night and was seated immediately. Water arrived as we sat at that was impressive. Chicken meatballs for an appetizer, hot and coated with a crunchy batter. My wife got drunken noodles with beef, and it was a large portion of both! I got the fried chili pork belly, which was a lot of crunchy fried pork belly bits mixed with peppers and the like, really good.“
“Thai Treasure is a culinary gem that shines brightly in the constellation of local eateries. This isn't just another Thai restaurant; it's a vibrant homage to the rich tapestry of Thai cuisine, served up in a modern setting that's as inviting as a warm smile. With service that makes you feel like royalty, it's no wonder this place has become a treasure trove for those in search of flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Thailand. Our culinary expedition began with the Crab Rangoon, a playful yet sophisticated take on the classic appetizer. The delicately crispy pouches served with a side of sweet & sour sauce were a surprisingly great way to start the meal, much better than what we typically think of. It's a dish that says, "Welcome to flavor town, population: you."Then came the Lava Beef, a dish so sizzling, it could melt even the coldest of hearts. The combination of beef, onion, bell peppers, and pineapple, all lovingly tossed in a honey pepper sauce and kissed by sesame oil, was a sweet and savory ballet that pirouetted right onto our taste buds. It wasn't just hot; it was volcanic, in the best possible way.The journey continued with Pad Kee Mao, also known as Drunken Noodles. This dish, with its wide rice noodles, onion, bell peppers, tomato, and basil, was like a late-night adventure in Bangkok--bold, spicy, and utterly unforgettable. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to dance in the rain, or at least order another round.Speaking of rounds, the Panang Chicken Curry was a knockout. The spicy, rich curry, infused with the zest of kaffir lime and studded with bell peppers and broccoli, was a masterclass in balance and flavor. It was like a hug from an old friend who just happens to be a Thai spice merchant--warm, comforting, and slightly spicy. And let's not forget the cocktails and classic beverages, a liquid odyssey that's as daring as it is delicious. Thai Treasure's beverage menu is a treasure map that leads to bliss, with each drink more inventive and refreshing than the last. It's the perfect complement to a meal that's already overflowing with flavor and fun.In essence, Thai Treasure is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Thai culture, cuisine, and conviviality. With its modern vibe, exceptional service, and a menu that's both adventurous and authentic, it's a place where every meal feels like a fantastic discovery.“
“Came here recently for dinner Saturday night with friends—my first time trying this place and it didn’t disappoint! Service was good and overall food was delicious!Top favorites were: Esaan Pad Thai with Shrimp, Massaman Chicken, Kai Tod Samoon Prai (fried chicken) and Pla Tod Samun Prai Rock Fish—everything was well-flavored! The rock fish was pretty big with lots of meat but lacked enough sauce so it was a bit dry in some parts. Tom Yum Soup with Chicken was really good. Wasn’t a fan of the Esaan Crispy Spring Roll, wasn’t too tasty, probably because there was no meat inside, just veggies.Cocktails were tasty—enjoyed both the Esaantini (infused vodka with fresh lemongrass) and the Esaan Summer (cucumber vodka). And drinks were reasonably priced!“
“Went for a Valentines dinner and had a great meal. We ordered the rolling duck roti, tom yum soup, and the nua num tok (spicy steak salad...my fave!) for appetizers. They came out quickly and were all so good. We also ordered chicken pad thai and pork drunken noodles, which were both among the best we've ever had, and with huge portions. The service is attentive and fast considering there is really just one server and two other staff helping bring out the dishes.Prices are what you expect given inflation today, but we thought it was a good value for all the wonderful food we were served. The interior is well decorated considering the dining space must have originally been designed as an atrium restaurant for a 1980's hotel. Can't wait to go back!“
“First experience with Thai food for me. I gotta say they knocked out of the park. Had a couple expertly made Thai Mojitos and finished with their deep fried cheesecake.Everyone was super friendly and everything was very clean. We'll be seeing you again real soon!“
“This Thai restaurant used to be one of our favorites in the area. However, since there are now many good Thai food options in the DMV, it's been a while since our last visit. Nonetheless, we plan to return to dine there soon. The food served at this restaurant is delicious, with well-balanced flavors in each dish. The service is generally decent, and the ambiance is unique, with a waterfall fixture, a small water pond, and stylish lampshades on the ceiling. It feels dim during dinner time and makes the overall ambiance cozy.“
