The food is delicious, and everybody in there is very friendly. No ac, who cares. These amazing people draw in equally amazing people. “Horrible experience. The descriptions on the menu are inaccurate. I went and had lunch with my 86-year-old mother. We ordered salads. She ordered Cobb salad and I ordered the fried chicken salad, because the description says it's served on a bed of "mixed greens". I hate iceberg lettuce. When my salad came, I ate the fried chicken tenders, but complained, because the salad was nothing but iceberg and romaine lettuce. The young, so-called manager, named TJ, was very rude and unapologetic and told me that lettuce is mixed greens. He told me if I wasn't happy, I could go to cooperate, in which I did. I was truly embarrassed by how I was treated in front of my mom. Update: I spoke to the owner Bob, he was super apologetic and embarrassed at how his employee treated us. He said the menu has been the same way for 30 plus years. We discussed how lettuce and mixed greens are NOT the same thing, and is misleading on the menu. I know after speaking with him that he will do the right thing.“

“I decided to stop by New Year's eve to get something in my stomach before drinking. They were full but I was offered a seat outside and took it. The food is all great here. Tonight they had a man carding at the front door. A customer came up already with a bad attitude. He didn't want to be carded and was insulted for he had been coming here for years. The gentleman minding the door whose name was Chris handled it very calmly with no attitude even though the guy calmed he didn't like Chris's attitude. the customer was clear trying to start something but only received politeness. I saw that same guy trying to start it up with another gentleman watching the door. Great job to Chris. He was also nice enough to stop and chat with me and do his job. I was the only one sitting outside it was nice to be acknowledged. Thanks“

“Excellent Sunday brunch buffet! Highly disappointed that when i called ahead of time to ask if they had a dessert table, was told No. We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration, so I brought a cake. When it was time to have our cake, i was told it would be a $1.00 a plate charge to have a dessert plate. Extremely turned off about that. Ruined our birthday celebration. Idk? Is this a thing? Never ever have heard of a plate fee.“

While in town on October 24th and the 25th, had dinner on Friday and was so impressed, I had to go back Saturday before leaving. “My husband and I ate here for the first time today. As soon as we walked in, it felt very comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the nachos with taco meat for our appetizer. It was very good! Everything was fresh, especially the jalapeños. You could tell they were not pre-sliced food service jalapeños. My husband ordered the smash burger a n d I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was the first time ever he didnt have to tell the server to tell the cook to burn it just so he could get his burger well done. It was cooked perfectly. Let me say first, I am from the deep south (much further south than Virginia) and I am picky about my pulled pork. This pulled pork was perfect. The BBQ sauce has a nice, smokey hickory taste and the pork was not over cooked. The slaw had a very nice flavor that complimented the pork.It is the best pulled pork I have ever gotten that didnt come out of my own kitchen! To say we were very pleased would be an understatement. Thank you! We will be back!“

“Came in at 9:30 after a 3 hour drive and felt bad because they close at 10 but we’re quick eaters so I knew we’d be out in time for closing. I was worried we’d be met with attitude and rightfully so when someone comes in right before closing so I was prepared BUT the hostess was so nice which was a huge relief. Our server, Elder, was attentive, great at his job, and very nice! The food was perfect which is great cause we ate at a Cheddars in Florida a few months ago and it was absolutely horrible - this one was spot on! Cooks in the back knew exactly what they were doing. The whole staff had good vibes and attitudes, they all were hustling and working hard. Seriously this location is fantastic! Thanks for the great experience. Had such a great experience im writing this in the parking lot at 10:01 after walking out! Thanks again Elder and staff! Yall were awesome!“
