“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.“

“really enjoyed this place. first time going and i don’t usually eat this type of food. my son who loves this type of food but didn’t think he’d like it because of vegetables that are usually put in (like tomatoes) we both loved it. no tomatoes just chopped lettuce which we don’t mind. food was made fast,hot,fresh. large portions and i has been told it was expensive but i didn’t find it anymore expensive than places like chipotle or moes. would definitely go back sometime.



Vegetarian options: i saw a vege wrap on the menu so i’m assuming they have good vege options



Dietary restrictions: i am type 2 diabetic and feel it was healthier than most places i could have chosen to eat



Parking: small parking in front but much larger parking in the back

The pretzels were nice I wasn't a fan of the beer cheese
The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was okay (not spicy at all)

The carpet was a little dirty but we did visit closer to the end of the day“

“I stopped there recently with my girlfriend and we both had western omelets that were fantastic. Mine was the best omelet I've had in quite a time. The eggs were fluffy and seasoned very well and all of the other ingredients were fresh and flavorful. We ordered directly from the cook who was very friendly and kind, in a cute little dining room that was playing the classics and was so quaint, homey, charming and friendly that we've already sworn we would go back. I cannot recommend highly enough. Please check it out, you won't be disappointed!“

“I had been hearing great things and just went for the first time. The Hatchet totally exceeded my expectations. There were 4 of us so we shared several apps. Great LOCAL draft and cider selection. Craft Cocktails looked amazing. I have been craving the crispy brussel sprouts for the last day and half. The Hatchet wings were perfect blend of savory heat and great cold the next day for lunch. The crab Rangoons did not stand a chance. I had the spicy karaage Chicken sandwich. Loved the different levels and complexity of heat topped with an egg so grab a knife and fork and enjoy. Others had a Hatchet smash burger, a noodle bowl, and Korean BBQ meatloaf. You know things are really good when the conversations stop for a few minutes. What I enjoyed about their menu is if you like pain jane you are all set. If you are like me and like complex flavors, some heat, Korean, Asian influence you found a warm home !“

“The food is best described as "OK" (though I guess that makes it authentic British food, eh?) - one of the sandwiches of all time!
Where these guys shine is the service. They're always friendly, accommodating, and fast. Extensive menu options, as well. Good if you need a quick sandwich and don't want anything fancy, or to spend an arm and a leg on a sub that's tiny and overpriced, this is a great option!“

“After a very long day of filming time for a special treat. The service, food, ambience and vibe was exactly what we were looking for and sure enough the Guild Tavern excelled in every area. Thank you to our server Charlotte who was amazing to the entire team here. Each dish carefully and well executed in presentation and taste. The energy level this team has is like watching a well-orchestrated master piece. Each team member knew the thoughts of the others, the smiles always on their faces soon as you walk in and while you are here to the delivery of drinks and food and closing out the evening. Always helping each other with no complaints nor competitive angles or agendas just pure team work. This is a place we would love to have in our upcoming documentary. “I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“

“Nice cozy little place. Great selection of Vermont brewed beers. Burger i had was excellent. Cooked perfectly. It's a small place but they max out the number of tables in there. It may get busy on the weekends as I was there on a Wednesday night. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back“

My husband ordered 8 wings and came with two sides. Cole slaw was vinegar based not bad and onion rings (extra $2) onion rings were good at best.
The place isn't bad it has decent food. Just nothing to over the top. Portion size needs to be more for price.“

“They also have vegan poutine (delicious I'm sure but not for health conscious vegans!) And vegan milkshakes..the crepe is great and since Burlington isn't all that vegan friendly- 1 gourmet place only open for dinner - and this is the only worthwhile vegan option on the waterfront in my opinion.“
