“I always stop here (at least once a month) on my way from Burlington to home. Never disappoints !!
Highly recommend their flight of ciders to sample what you like before you buy a 4-pack. My favorite has always been the Cider Donut Cider, but their new Hibiscus Cider is awesome. Customer service is great too. Nice place just to hang out and bring friends. Enjoy“

I've test to have a single bite of food that wasn't thoughtful, intentional, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The bar program is also fantastic, as is the service. “One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.“

“Superb food and service! We hired Green Goddess to cater over the course of a 4 day event. We couldn't have been happier with the food and service. First of all, the food was just amazing. For variety, we did four unique types of dishes for each day and each one were fabulous. They also easily accommodated for food restrictions/allergies/veg options at every meal that weren't afterthoughts. The hot food was amazing and the sandwiches were superb!“

“Amazing place really. I wasn’t expecting a ski mountain to have such an amazing restaurant! The James Moore tavern is fantastic. I ordered the Smashburger with fries and some unique morsels known as duck rangoons. The burger had a crispy patty that was seasoned perfectly, as well as onion jam, a brioche bun, and garlic aioli. The fries were crisp and flavorful and the duck rangoons were fantastically unique and delicious. Sadly they were out of their butter cake but the peanut butter pie was delicious. Probably the best ski food I’ve ever tried!“

“Went to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and had a great time! Brian, the bartender, makes excellent drinks and was exceptionally friendly. Our server, Ryan, was thoughtful and knew when to be at the table and when to let us enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Great job to the kitchen too! I have a gluten intolerance tolerance and the server was able to direct me to the foods that were safe for me to eat as well as bringing me condiments that I could enjoy with my meal! “We walked into the Roost after a disappointing experience at the Matahorn who botched our reservation. We were out to watch the Final Four and Ricky the bartender made it all happen for us. He was great. A true professional. He got the game going with volume on both TV’s over the bar. Got us going with excellent drinks paying attention to his craft for example chilling our glasses as he mixed our martinis. He hand stuffed olives with blue cheese. Our dinner was great with a super menu that had one of everyone’s favorites. We had a great time. Come see Ricky at the Roost. You won’t be disappointed!“

Rochelle is an absolute dream of a person and we're always so grateful for how kind she is to our son that is autistic.
