“Also my second time here. The flights of cider are always a good way to wash down your food, very light and tasted great. This time I had a grilled cheese with ham and tomato. This may sound simple but it was incredibly flavorful and I could have easily split it as it was a big sandwich. The cheese was very creamy. My friends also had the burger and Mac and cheese. Everything was fresh, delicious and homemade. The prices are more than fair especially for the quality. The service was more than friendly and obliging. Love the atmosphere. Very comfortable and the view is outstanding. Beautiful mountains!“

“A renowned beer bar that lives up to the hype! The selection was insane, and the staff were super friendly. They gave us some samplers before settling for a beer. I wish I had gotten the food, but we just ate beforehand at Prohibition Pig. That just means I have to go back, apparently (oh no)!“

“Listen, I know it's a pho spot, and you won't be disappointed if you get Pho, but you need to order the Kim Special. It's the spicy beef and pork noodle soup with the addition of seafood. This thing during winter clears all sinuses, fills all tummies, and packs an ungodly amount of flavor.

The staff is also incredible here - during my visit, it was a team of two (Kim & Hien) serving more than 20 seats and doing so with a smile on their face.

Reservations recommended for groups of 5 or more though I saw them accommodate this on the spot.“

“The Thai food is particularly good. I was not a fan of the calamari, but there are many many other things on the menu that they specialize in that are worth getting. This is a great spot for dine in, or take out. Highly recommended if you like Thai!“

“This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters. I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes. I did mention to staff after and they offered to compensate which I turned down but was made sure I would be treated next time we’re in the area The staff here are great and service was quick, definitely a place to go“

“Ideal for a quick lunch, this is my choice for dining at noon most days. Even lunch special plenty of food. Hot hot stir fry makes for crispy veg and tender meat. Sometimes they let me order off the menu schezuan pork (shredded) and I leave so very satisfied.“

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.“

“Did 3 samplings on the day of the visit: Maple syrup sampling, Pickles sampling and Bourbon Tasting. Great experience, knowledgeable staff and great selection of bourbon. I ended up buying Bourbon Maple syrup (no alcohol, Maple syrup aged in bourbon barrels) and Maple cream Bourbon liquor. I would recommend to visit as it is located in a small shopping center setting with other local shops around.“

“Amazing place really. I wasn’t expecting a ski mountain to have such an amazing restaurant! The James Moore tavern is fantastic. I ordered the Smashburger with fries and some unique morsels known as duck rangoons. The burger had a crispy patty that was seasoned perfectly, as well as onion jam, a brioche bun, and garlic aioli. The fries were crisp and flavorful and the duck rangoons were fantastically unique and delicious. Sadly they were out of their butter cake but the peanut butter pie was delicious. Probably the best ski food I’ve ever tried!“

“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

Our server, Ryan, was thoughtful and knew when to be at the table and when to let us enjoy ourselves without feeling rushed. Great job to the kitchen too! They have easily accessible outlets with 110v, USB 2.0 and USB-C connections!

“This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. They are always busy, but no matter how busy always friendly and attentive. Waitstaff really hustles. Highly recommend the Hunan Triple. Lots of veggies cooked just right with Shrimp, chicken, and beef in a great sauce.“

“I have loved this restaurant since I was a kid getting out of school and I still love it. I turn 51 this winter. I commonly go here for my birthday dinner with a friend or two. They have maintained quality service in Montpelier all of that time. They were able to accommodate us during Covid when no one else could. They remind me of The Royal Orchid in that way. They have earned being recognized as a quality Montpelier establishment in my opinion.“
