“We have come here for many years. It been awhile since we came back. We like their new menu looks like it been recently updated. We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. We will be back as usual! We highly recommend this place! They got some of the dishes we love that keeps us coming back for more!“

“Have had the lunch special several times now. The food is fresh and the sauces are very flavorful. I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef, the Kung Pao Chicken, and the Pork and green beans. The special includes soup and an egg roll. Both the hot and sour and the won ton soups are some of the best I've had. What a great deal for such delicious food. Will definitely be back!“

“I came here on a Saturday evening to have dinner with my husband and I was surprised to see it empty based on reviews. We ordered a variety and had prompt service from the nicest woman. She was very attentive and even gave us a free appetizer. The food was some of the best Chinese food I've had. The location looks a bit worn down but the interior is very clean and put together. I would recommend to everyone i know. You can't judge by the exterior. It's great food and great atmosphere!“

“As a Cantonese person, this place hits closest to home. Probably the most authentic Cantonese restaurant in Seattle. Prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. Service is not the fastest at busy hours, but that’s to be expected.“

“A total gem hiding in plain sight. Appa Sushi is easy to miss — it's tucked into a strip off a busy road (just off 516) — but don't let the unassuming location fool you. The service is spectacular. We rolled in mid-ride on the Green River Trail, and when we mentioned we wanted to eat in the nearby Riverview park, the staff were absolutely delighted to help and packed our lunch to go without missing a beat.
One warning: the portions are ENORMOUS. Thinking we'd be starving after biking, we each ordered our own bento box — big mistake, we could easily have split a single one. They pile on the rice, and I swear there was half a chicken in the chicken teriyaki. Super-nice staff, quick and easy service, and food that way over-delivers for the price. I can't wait to go back.“

“Ordered takeout from Happy Noodles and was genuinely blown away by how authentic the food is. As a Chinese person, I'm usually pretty picky about Chinese food, and seeing the restaurant packed with Chinese patrons was already a good sign.
I ordered the Intestines Vermicelli, and it was outstanding—spicy, deeply umami, and incredibly generous with the protein. Every bite was packed with flavor.
What really stood out was the hospitality. The lady boss was exceptionally kind and even offered to refill my water bottle and give me extra rice, despite me only ordering takeout.“

“I got the duck and BBQ pork lunch combo. First, the sauce they put on it is fabulous. The pork was actually my favorite. I’d never had Chinese BBQ duck before and it’s a little too fatty for me. The cabbage that comes with is very flavorful but it was cold. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be but it just surprised me.
There is extremely limited indoor seating. I’m talking 4 or 5 tables. And they serve everything in to-go containers.“

“Very authentic jjamppong loaded with mussels, squid and shrimp, with bouncy noodles in rich broth. Their bowls are HUGE! Amazing value, especially if you go during lunchtime for their lunch specials. $9.99 for jjajangmyeon and $11.99 for jjamppong, Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. What a hidden gem!“

“wow, traditional dishes are good, but fusion dishes are better in my opinion. Fusion dishes show the creativity and outside the box thinking. Tried my first sandwich today and will be returning to try others. If you love Binh Mi this is the spot.“

“Everything about this restaurant was impressive. From the welcoming staff to the beautifully prepared dishes, every detail contributed to a wonderful experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served promptly. The restaurant itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable. This is the kind of place you confidently recommend to friends and family.“

“Food was well priced and tasty. Drinks were also good, we had an ube tea, mango green tea and a Thai tea. There is a QR code to order from the table so no wait to order. The food came pretty quickly, although they brought us someone elses order while still completely forgetting to give us 1 of our items. I did witness that they also forgot an item for the table next to us as well. So all in all I noticed 3 order mishaps in about 30 minutes. All of that is forgivable to me though because the food and pricing were on point.“

“We are just passing through Auburn and needed something that was close to the hotel. We are so happy that we chose to order from here. Everything in our order was fresh and tasted amazing. The dinner for two was enough to feed us that night and for lunch the next day, with some left overs still. Would recommend a million times over. The only disappointing thing is we don't live close enough to eat here regularly.
When we arrived for our to-go order, the owner met us at the car with our food ready to go before my wife could even put her shoes on to get out of the car. In the pouring rain. PLEASE support this place, they are one of the few that deserve it!“

“To review, this place is meant to eat in groups and be loud and speak to people. Always better to eat fresh, there are several foods that this is a must. Such is the case with any dumpling. If this place is rude to you I would say you deserve it, or if took longer I promise they are making things fresh or something is a process to cook.
Ignore the negative comments these are just unhappy people.
The server is the only one, works 6 days a week. All of the staff is very friendly, especially if you come often and have proper manners. Everyone loves a regular.
The spicy pork long bao are the best dumplings within 50 miles. However they are not for the faint of heart 🔥🥵♨️“

“New Peking Wok deserves a huge shout-out! The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. Even on a very busy New Year’s night, the staff handled everything with professionalism, patience, and kindness. They remained polite and respectful to everyone—even in the face of rude customers—which truly shows how much grace and care they have. You can feel the love they put into both their food and their service. Highly recommend!“

“We left another location and came here! We know Kent Dough Zone is best service, best location, BEST FOOD!
They took us last minute with only 25 min till close.
The servers were very polite and accommodating (even though it was basically closing time)
I came in with 3 teenagers
We had two spicy mala noodles, two dan dan noodles, two orders sweet and spicy garlic chili pan fried chicken wontons, and hot & sour chicken wontons, oh and a green onion pancake.
Everything was so good as always and they even gave complimentary pork and crab soup dumplings.which reminds me
We also ordered the chicken xio long bao (chicken soup dumps)
Such a great place
All that under $80
Best place ever
Thank you so much
Didn’t get photos cause we ate as soon as they brought it out lol“

“Locally owned by a Chinese couple for many years. In my opinion they sell the best fried rice and pork buns in the state. The buns are always fresh and warm and so delicious. I've had fried rice from easily a hundred different restaurants in both the USA and Japan and their fried rice is still one of my faves. Good ratio of rice to other ingredients, generous amount of meat, and not too oily.“

“A real gem near the heart of Georgetown! In addition to the American-Chinese classics like Teriyaki, they have REALLY GREAT Korean food, including a grilled mackerel which was so nice. Prices are great for a high quality meal with big portions. Service can be kind of slow (20-25 minutes from order to getting food) so if you only have a small lunch break, not a great idea, so I had to take off a star.“

“I get delivery from here a couple times a month and it's always hot, fresh and big portions. Best deal is the combo dinner (see pix). You get S&S chicken, spring roll, huge pile of pork combo fried rice and a big pile of your choice of main entree. My favorite is the Mongolian Beef (see pix). Price for the combo averages $23 depending on which main you get.“

“YUM YUM Teriyaki is one of those hidden gems you end up going back to again and again. It’s my go-to, last-minute spot — consistently fast, fresh, and satisfying every time. The portions are solid, the flavors are exactly what you expect from great teriyaki, and it never disappoints when you need a reliable meal on the fly.
What really stands out is consistency — whether it’s a quick lunch or late-day pickup, the quality stays the same. It’s the kind of place you don’t have to think twice about.
Easily a 5/5 for convenience, value, and dependable comfort food.“

“We were craving teriyaki and have been slowly trying out all the ones in the area. We're very happy having had Buck's, the plan was clean , service is friendly and quick with no overly loud music(TV on but a nice low volume). The portions are great and the food itself beautifully seasoned, tender and moist with nice cuts(no cheap grisly bits in our meal). We got the spicy chicken and pork they were so good and the salad simple but so nicely chopped(love me some consistent texture) and went nicely with the meal. We're done trying out other spots this is the one. Now only if they offered catering cause I would absolutely getting catering for parties.“

“My boyfriend was craving teriyaki on a Sunday which as many of you know that teriyaki places are usually closed on Sundays. However, we saw that this place opens on Sundays (they had several banners saying that they were open on Sundays too) after the original place we wanted to check out had a sudden kitchen maintenance. This restaurant is a lot bigger than other teriyaki restaurants with booth and chair seats, plenty of big or small tables, two TVs playing different sports, and it was the temperature was perfect. They have a big menu so it's easy to see the prices and their offerings, which consists of teriyaki, soups, Chinese food, sushi and bubble tea. Their prices are very reasonable and the upcharge on fried rice is the lowest I've seen but I think there's a reason for that (it's pretty bland). The cashier lady was efficient at her job but definitely could be friendlier and I wish she wasn't super snappy, there was no real rush and we were maybe their fourth order during that time.
We opted to dine in and took our seat waiting for food. They have offer fountain drinks and bottled drinks, as well as water cups. We got our utensils and sauce cups first then our food arrived not too long afterwards. My boyfriend got their chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu combo with fried rice while I got their chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. I love that they have steamed veggies as I like to enjoy any remaining teriyaki sauce with them. The California rolls were decent, not the best but not the worst either. The teriyaki sauce is pretty good, it is a great mix of sweet and savory. They are also very generous with rice as there was a bed of under my teriyaki and two scoops. My boyfriend enjoyed the katsu and the sauce that came with it was very delicious! The only issue we had was that the fried rice had no seasoning or color, I almost thought it was white rice with some veggies at first. Other than that, a solid teriyaki joint that seemed to have a good amount of people coming in to pick up orders for the most part.“

“Tung Kee Mi Gia holds a special place in my heart, even though I’ve moved away from South Park, Seattle. My sister and brother-in-law are devoted regulars, and today, for Mother’s Day, I took them back for a feast. We had their number 15 combination noodle soup, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. They also served us Vietnamese coffee, which was good, though I wished it had a bit more condensed milk—still, a unique take on it.
What keeps me coming back—or at least sending my family there—is the outstanding service. As soon as we sat down, the staff brought us water and tea, and we barely had to wait before our food arrived. The team is quick, attentive, and genuinely warm—something that elevates every visit. It’s a classic example of a neighborhood gem with a big heart.
In addition to the amazing food, Tung Kee Mi Gia is super convenient, with plenty of parking, so it’s easy to get in and out. Despite the small adjustments I might make to the coffee, I still give them five stars—this place is a true standout. If you haven’t been yet, it’s definitely worth the visit!“
“Best I can tell it’s a place for Vietnamese uncles to hang out. They have coffee, but I didn’t see a menu anywhere for other options.
The ca phe sua da is realllyyyy good though, honestly better than most places here.
Also it smells heavily of cigarette smoke, so if you bothers you you might not like it.“

“We had a wonderful dine-in experience. There are many dimsum places in the area but Dough Zone stands out with its spacious dining area and decoration. Not a giant menu of dimsum (which usually comes in 3 pieces) but each order is 8 pieces. The bun looks really good too. Always better to go in a bigger group to share. Plus, they have their own Dough Zone beer which tastes amazing. We will be back!“

“I ordered two meals and two drinks and they only charged me for one meal which I didn't notice because they didn't give me a receipt. We had to wait for the second meal to be made but it wasn't the end of the world. This is the only teriyaki place I have ever been to that didn't give you a little cup of teriyaki sauce to go with it, had I known that I would have ordered extra sauce for my hubby's rice . The food was hot and tasted fine, just a little dry!“

“Foo Lam has some of the most authentic Chinese meals in all of Seattle. It is well worth the trip no matter what side of town you are on. Their Dim Sum, their steamed/fried Shrimp and other meatballs, Congee, and assortment of Chinese eats are top notch. Their cleanliness could definitely be much improved, and their to go service sometimes is questionable as far as them giving you sufficient materials- but from a pure food standpoint the cook and staff are great. And for a quick snack, they have great Spicy, Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings.“

“This place really shines with stir-fried dishes. The wok hei is strong and well executed, easily one of the best spots if you’re craving bold, classic Sichuan small plates.
Recommended:
Mapo tofu (balanced numbing spice), fresh pepper stir-fried snail meat, spicy stir-fried pork kidney, shredded potato with green pepper, and chives with crispy tripe. Honestly, most of their quick stir-fry dishes are very solid.
Not recommended:
Mao xue wang, grilled fish, and boiling fish dishes — these are noticeably weaker compared to their stir-fry lineup.
If you know what to order, this is a great spot for authentic, high-heat Sichuan flavors.“

“They have the BEST teriyaki chicken I've ever had! The teriyaki sauce is delicious and they use quality meat products that is cut into thin, manageable slices. It's so yummy I could eat there every day! Plus, they have very reasonable prices as well. A teriyaki bowl costs less than any fast food meal, and it's more filling and so much better for your health I'm sure.“

“I remember being around 7 years old and my family would come here almost every Sunday for years after church with the church fam and sit behind the beaded curtains. I’m now 23 and pregnant and remembered how amazing the fried rice was (along with the egg flower soup, chicken wings and some seafood special in white sauce). Sadly I live in Idaho now and I was craving it to an EXTREME and I mentioned it to my mother otp. My sister was coming to visit me the very next day, so as a huge surprise that evening my mother sent my father 45mins one way from auburn to burien to go get a house special fried rice so they could send it in a Tupperware to me with my sister. I couldn’t believe that it tasted the same after allllllll these yearssss 😭 my heart was soooo content. Very cliche but happy garden made up a HUGE part of my childhood and I’m glad they’re still in business and still making this amazing food after all these years. Thank you guys for existing and giving me so many good memories there 🫶🏽 I still have a picture of me and my little sister sitting at the corner booth. Typing this out is making me crave the fried rice again lol, great times.“

“Let's start with the fact that they have an excellent food safety rating by the King County Health Department. That is very impressive for an Asian buffet. The service is stellar as is the sushi bar. The salad bar has blue cheese not just ranch which is a plus to me. Many choices for hot piping food with great flavors. This is probably my 8th or 10th time here and I live all the way back in Lynnwood. Would absolutely come again.“
