“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!“

“I came here to read and work. There is lots of seating and the vibes are calming and peaceful to me (minus the construction just outside).
I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that but I enjoy the Black tea.
There weren't many people there early in the morning but it started filling up after 9.

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

I go there almost everyday, I see new faces once in awhile, but mostly familiar, but they all are extreamly kind, hard working, professional. Very genuine characters and kind staff, what a great team. I'm not sure who does the hiring, but they have great judgment of character. We will come in here sometimes and just get the cheese plate or a little sandwich and a drink and sit around and just talk it's a very peaceful relaxing place they have indoor and outdoor seating. And it's on the corner the inside of the strip mall so you have a nice view if you sit outside on a sunny day. Staff are always friendly and helpful in what I like about it also is it's always clean and has a very cool eclectic feeling inside. I highly recommend stopping by any Cutters point but this one particular because this one I know the best.James...“

This place is amazing! The baristas and staff are fantastic. I’ve been coming here for years, and they’ve always been consistent. We’re always greeted with a smile, and our conversations feel personal, not just like we’re just customers. I remember seeing one of the baristas greet and chat with a little kid by their first name—that kind of attention to detail shows how much they care. They’ve even had our drinks ready as we walked in on some days.

Overall, this place is amazing.

“I love this little shop. The gals are always so nice and the coffee is great. They make a point to get to know their customers and it's also dog friendly. The only downside is the constant loitering of people asking for money or just hanging around and yelling at customers as they walk in and out. They hang out right by the entrance and crosswalk so there is almost no way to avoid them and sometimes there are several at a time. It's very uncomfortable and doesn't feel safe and I feel for the gals that have to deal with that at the coffee stand and I hope they are compensated well because I can only imagine the challenges they face every day.“

“Gravity coffee on south Tacoma way is my go to from now on I’ll be getting a coffee every time I do laundry! I went the other day for my first time I went to get the kids a drink for being good while I was doing laundry and Mia helped me she was so incredibly sweet and beautiful! she saw all I had was enough for the kids and she made me a free coffee and when I came back she remembered me and things that I said top notch service so sweet so nice and my coffee this morning was so good the best coffee from a shop I’ve had in a long time“
