“Kimball Coffeehouse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts. I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent! One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find.  I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.… Highly Recommended!!!“

“Latte art 8/10, taste 8/10, atmosphere, 7/10. Tacoma’s premier rostery did not disappoint, bringing out some amazing flavors which are surprisingly rare on the west coast. Served with sparkling water which is always 👌. Atmosphere was a classic industrial setting, a tad crowded for a weekday. Only qualm was baristas forgot to make our drink, but quickly made once reminded.“

“I came here to read and work. There is lots of seating and the vibes are calming and peaceful to me (minus the construction just outside).
I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that but I enjoy the Black tea.
There weren't many people there early in the morning but it started filling up after 9.

“Bought a bag of Morning Sun whole beans. Package says it's a darker roast. Darker than what? Water? We tried it three mornings in a row. With no other whole beans in the house, I had to switch to instant coffee. Morning Sun is NOT a dark roast. Sorry to say I was very disappointed.“

“I love this little shop. The gals are always so nice and the coffee is great. They make a point to get to know their customers and it's also dog friendly. The only downside is the constant loitering of people asking for money or just hanging around and yelling at customers as they walk in and out. They hang out right by the entrance and crosswalk so there is almost no way to avoid them and sometimes there are several at a time. It's very uncomfortable and doesn't feel safe and I feel for the gals that have to deal with that at the coffee stand and I hope they are compensated well because I can only imagine the challenges they face every day.“

“My husband and I found this coffee stand on door dash yesterday and fell in love with their coffee! The salted white Russian is DELICIOUS with hemp milk, and the fact that they have hemp milk! I absolutely love this Gravity Coffee location! The ladies here are always so sweet, welcoming, and professional. I’ve never had a single issue with my drinks or service. In fact, they even went above and beyond to remake a drink for me that had been messed up at another Gravity, something that really meant a lot to me, especially since the other barista seemed to mess it up on purpose. The team here handled the situation with so much kindness and comfort, and it honestly made my whole day better. I’ll always come back to this location. They truly care about their customers, and it shows. 💕🌟“

“We had their sausage egg sandwich on brioche buns. They were super hot and tasty. The coffee drinks used great chocolate in the mocha and a creme brûlée latte with their caramel whipped cream! We were at their newest location on Ruston and the barista was hustling to keep up with the business.“

Kid-friendliness: Oh gosh as someone who suffers really bad with social anxiety to the point that I avoid places commonly, I felt safe in here. So a kid would love it!!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is enough space in the door for a wheelchair and there is a ramp for em as well!!“

“Food and service was fine, but because the friend that I was meeting with normally wears hearing aids that were in for repair. The music was then too loud for her to hear me talking and uncomfortable for her. Fortunately, there were tables outside and the weather was nice. If not, we would have had to find somewhere else to talk about trip planning.

“The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is due to price. My iced coffee, a 16oz with caramel/cream/sugar, cost $6.70. To me, that is pricey for a simple iced coffee. HOWEVER, the customer service is amazing. The staff are kind and patient. I even heard them greeting customers by their names, which shows how they provide positive experiences and retain customers. This has been the best tasting iced coffee I’ve had within the Lakewood/JBLM area. Instead of going to Starbucks or Dutch Bros, I recommend stopping by Cutter’s Point for quality coffee & customer service.“
