“We went to visit Sumo Japanese restaurant for the first time after church service. The food and the service were great. I highly recommend this restaurant and the robots service was a great touch.”
“Hands down the best sushi restaurant in the PNW. Small place, I believe the chef only serves one table at a time, so booking is tight. We waited about a week before we got a slot. When you do place your reservation, you will also need to order your dishes in advance. It's a very personal experience, which is great because it lets us appreciate the quality of sushi. We ordered the chirashi bowl and omakase, and it's the best that we've ever had.”
“The experience was great and the food was even better I definitely recommend 100% worth it and the drinks were great!!!”
“Excellent service, absolutely delicious food, a beautiful sparkling atmosphere and the nicest people ever!! We love this restaurant!”
“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

“3 main things people look for: 1. Customer service: I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner. I was also taught a few things & given great advice on tea! 2. Product: Fresh tea!!!! Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“Vegetarian and Indian is some of my favorite food, Angar Kitchen didn't disappoint. Food was delicious, we both were stuffed. The atmosphere and decor are really on point here though, it's very modern and beautiful. Definitely thoughtfully designed with even the dishes the food is served in being chic and fit the overall aesthetic. Try it out!”
“You like Indian food. You like pizza. So, why not mix the two?
We LOVED Curry Pizza House. Everything, from the potato appetizer to the garlic cheesy bread to the shahi paneer pizza (our favorite item of the day) was excellent. The manager was incredibly kind to us and even comped us a few items that we neglected to order when we first placed our order. Highly recommended for a different twist on pizza with fresh toppings and lots of options, both Indian and more traditional American.
Vegetarian options: It’s Indian! Lots of vegetarian options. Some items can be made vegan, too.
Kid-friendliness: Brings the kids, expose ‘em to something different. Staff is totally welcoming to kids, too.”
“Aroy Makkkkk !!!
Delightful Delicious affordable Thai food I have ever tried in WA. Very casual home cook style and variety you can choose on the menu! Very recommended “Pork Jerky” from appetizers. It’s good with either rice or sticky rice OR even by itself ?
Tom Sabb also very good soup with herbs and fragrant. Me and my friends got Seafood Tom Sabb which we got shrimp, squid, mussels.
Spicy chicken Salad also highly recommended! Every spices and herbs blend well together and som little crunchy from roasted rice will hit your mouth.
All I can say is this place will make your mouth drool ? such a gem and comfort Thai food restaurant in Kent that worth to visit. Absolutely not gonna be disappointed ?? Originally Thai taste in town. Confirmed by a Thai person!!!”

“The braised meat is very delicious, and the children immediately finished a box of braised quail eggs. We took out a lot of braised food and two lunch boxes, and the lady boss also gave us a box of smoked chicken legs and milk tea. Very grateful! I wish the champion a prosperous braised food business”
“Some friends invited us to dinner and from the moment we entered the aromas had our mouths water. Tasty pasta dishes and wonderful desserts. I had the lemon cheesecake and if you like lemon you won’t be disappointed. The seasonal pumpkin cheesecake gave the Cheesecake Factory a run for the money!!”

“We ordered 90 dollars worth of take out and it was awesome!! I placed the order for our family and My Dad went and picked it up! It was hot!Great tasting, and my Moms honey walnut shrimp was the best I had ever tasted! I had the Happy Family and the meat and veggies was tasty and fresh! This will be the only place we go for chinese food!”
“Came in for lunch to a modest looking family owned establishment. Greeted by nice lady at the counter where we ordered some poke. Friendly service, seems like a small family operation with maybe two people running front and back. The meal came out when it came out but we weren’t at all in hurry. Generous portions and quality of fish surprised me for being all the way out in Kent. Looking forward to definitely come back again.”
“I’ve been a loyal customer at this place for a while now, and I can confidently say they make the most flavorful, delicious pizza I’ve ever had. Every time I order, I’m left wanting more—it’s just that good.
Last night, I placed a phone order. I usually get the veggie pizza, but this time I decided to try the pepperoni pizza. My sister had mentioned they offer halal pepperoni, so I assumed everything on the menu was halal and didn’t think to specify.
When I arrived to pick up my order, the staff kindly let me know that the pepperoni used wasn’t halal. I realized I had not mentioned i wanted halal pepperoni over the phone. Without hesitation, the lady at the counter offered to remake the entire pizza at no extra charge. I even offered to pay, but she refused.
She went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and that kind of service is rare. This experience just reaffirmed why I keep coming back—not only is the food amazing, but the customer service is truly exceptional.”
“Irish Death beer!!! I love the beer and can't get it here in AZ”
“Fantastic Chole Bhature and aloo parantha. I was just staying overnight as I missed my flight in Seattle due to Delta airlines ( worst airline in the world) but it was a pleasure to order and eat very authentic Indian meal from Junoon. Thanks guys. Heads-up !!! Highly recommend if you are really looking forward to proper Indian cuisine.

“With mixed reviews I was hesitant to try Jang Soo, but I was actually blown away by how good it is!
They still serve fried fish as an appetizer/side dish - something you don’t see often nowadays. They serve rice in a stone pot - also rare. They refill your side dishes quickly and give generous refills. Their kimchi tastes fresh, like it may have been made in-house - it’s not very sour like the super fermented jars you get at the grocery store. The tofu soup tastes like it was actually made with broth - and in fact, my leftovers congealed/became gelatinous after being in the fridge.
Sure, it’s expensive and the portions aren’t overly large, but considering the price of all other restaurants and what you get, Jang Soo’s price is very fair for what you get.”
“Their customer service is above and beyond a small market store, they truly care about every customer who walks in the door and to help meet your personal needs! I always know if I’m looking for an unusual product they will have it! Plus their restaurant is a bonus for a healthy meal you won’t have to prepare ❤️”
Takeout Restaurants
“Everyone loves their karaage chicken...huge servings! They also have the best Tom Kha...the flavor is spot on! Pad See Ew, drunken noodles, etc are all wonderful. Portions are large & prices are reasonable. But, biggest reason I keep returning is their terrific staff...just the nicest people!”
“We recently catered from Tacosland for a school event, and it was a huge hit, the teachers LOVED it!
A special shoutout to Hugo, who went above and beyond to help us pull everything together last minute. He guided us through the menu, helped us stay within budget, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
We’ll definitely be using Tacosland again for future events!”
“It is very hard to find a good hot dog in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Tried for the first time today after the reopening and the owner served me. He has fresh ingredients and very interesting recipes for his types of dogs. My wife and I tried the Banh Mi, Husky, and Bulldog. All were delicious and we are happy to support a small business like this! If you haven't been here yet, put this on your list to try!”
“We are so grateful to have stumbled across this restaurant ❤️ Their food is simply delicious and the hosts couldn't be more amazing if they tried ❤️ We will definitely be back”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and despite the late hour, the staff welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. They started us off with a calming cup of herbal tea, which was the perfect way to settle in before the food arrived. Coming from Atlanta, we’re familiar with good halal food, but this was by far the most delicious Afghan cuisine we’ve had in Seattle. The Kabuli Pulao came with a generous, fall-off-the-bone tender lamb chop that was incredibly flavorful. The Chapli Kabob was a standout—savory with a hint of sweetness, tangy, and perfectly spiced. We also had the lamb curry, which was melt-in-your-mouth soft and rich with phenomenal flavor. Every dish was clearly made with care, and the entire experience—from the food to the service—was exceptional. Super family friendly, amazing owner!!!”
“If you're a fan of comfort food with rich, deep flavors, you HAVE to try the beef stew, It never disappoints!! The broth is so flavorful and the meat is always so soft. Been coming here for years & they alwayss get me right. The service is always friendly and quick. Definitely a must-try for everyone :)”
“This is my favorite place to get hamburgers and have date nights with my boyfriend. The staff are so kind and attentive. The food is delicious, and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a local mom-and-pop kind of feel. When I move out of the area, I may have to come back and visit just to eat here.”

“Stopped here to find a lotus energy drink and got lucky!!! They had a few options to choose from and all sounded very tasty! I got the "Glow Up" Coconut, Blue Raspberry, Blue Lotus Energy Drink with Coconut Milk! Tasted very good!!! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, lots of tables and chairs. Relaxing, chill space. Lots of cider drinks to choose from as well as some food options. Very clean and tidy and would go here again if I'm in the area!”
“The Best Afghan Cuisine so far I have been to any Afgani Food in Northwest.”
“Excellwnt Cantonese food. Seems authentic. They had garlic pea vine, congee. Their noodles and fried rice had wok hei. The restaurant is a converted old house.”
Cheap Eats
“I come to this place often for lunch. Sometimes they are quite busy, and it’s easy to see why: great food and reasonable prices. I particularly like the chicken salad, but the chicken katsu is also a favorite, as is the fried rice and sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese menu.”
“..the Best Cookies ever!...the Cow Chip Cookies are always fresh, baked to perfection and delicious..I have been a patron for a long time often visiting the downtown Seattle location..if you are from Seattle or just visiting I highly recommend giving them a try...don't let the name fool ya! Lol...I recommend the Nutty Cow or Nutty Calf that comes topped with walnuts however they sell a variety of different flavors and sizes and they all taste great!..Enjoy 😋”
“The food here is AUTHENTIC Vietnamese cooking. There is absolutely no other Vietnamese restaurants in Washington State that can be compared to Lang Viet. Bought 13 dishes, since it was a bit of a drive where I live. The first dish, Banh Xeo, was perfection. It had all the veggies, the banh xeo had the exact ingredients you expect from the banh xeo. Tastes excellent, even after sitting in the car for an hour drive home. The Muc Nuong Sa Te/ Grilled cuttle fish with house special chili sauce is so perfectly cooked, the cuttle fish is soft and melts in your mouth. The Bun Mam is the best. It is not overwhelm by the mam. Everything in it balanced out and it is the only Bun Mam you want to eat in this state. Khay Cuon Lang Viet is not special enough, but it fills the tummy. Thit Ba Roi, Tom Kho Tieu/ Braised black pepper pork belly and shrimp in clay pot goes perfect with white rice. It is just pure Vietnamese cooking.
This will be my weekly drive for Vietnamese food for the weekend.
Parking: lots of parking”
“The matcha and the milk tea teased AMAZING you can actually tease the tea and matcha unlike other stores that just give out sugar and milk, you can really tease the favor in the teas and matca both really had rich favor especially the matca i can tell they used a high quality matca because of the color and tease and the best part it craep compared to other boba stores, Im totally coming back for thirds and recommend coming here”
“Food was okay, not horrible, but surprisingly flavorless. We ordered the chicken gyro. They used iceberg lettuce, and very little noticeable seasonings. I tasted a hint of paprika, yogurt, and maybe lemon. Very bland, neutral, and mediocre. The dolmas were decent. The environment was rather dark, maybe typical of the Mediterranean atmosphere? Service was decent.
I suggest updating the menu, especially in regards to the flavor. Use spinach or Romaine. Use herbs like tarragon or mint or something brighter for Gyros. Tomatoes were minimal and absent, cherry tomatoes would have worked well. Brighten up the dining area with yellow lemons, the aroma of spices, and adjust the produce with fresher, natural, and with a more defined flavor. The place was not busy and the rating posted on the window was "Okay" for health and safety.”
“It's been nearly 20 years since I had last eaten at Soho Teriyaki, and I was worried that I was misremembering how great it was. I ate there today and it is still hands-down my very favorite teriyaki place of all-time!!! Thank you for the awesome food and memories.”
“I recently stumbled upon this restaurant after its change in ownership, and I’m so impressed! The staff were incredibly friendly, and you can tell they’re passionate about the food they’re serving.
It's clear the new owners are committed to quality ingredients and putting their own unique spin on things. I tried both the katsu and the beef ramen. The katsu was perfectly fried and tender. With the latter also well seasoned and loaded with toppings.
What stood out to me the most was the attention to detail. From the décor to the service to the food, everything felt carefully curated with care. Highly recommend giving it a try—you won't be disappointed!”
“had the French dip before the Seattle Thunderbirds game. very good, good service.”
“Awesome food and most excellent service! Best Chinese restaurant in Kent!!! 👍 5/5 stars for sure!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“This restaurant is perfect to have authentic Mexican experience. From the delicious food to the live music, you’ll leave feeling happy and satisfied. 🇲🇽🌮”
“I pulled in here to make a phone call and ended up going inside I found a lot of different products I'd never seen before so I took a chance and I bought something called rosewater yogurt drink AMAZING !!! Stuff I'm definitely coming back again sometime”
“The best halal Mediterranean food in town. We just loved fresh salads & starters. BBQ grill was finger licking good and freshly made. Ambiance was too welcoming. All kinds of fresh and yummy Arabic authentic sweets reminded us of Dubai❤️ the serving size is large and price is very reasonable. I strongly recommend the place”
“la comida los cócteles🍣🌮🍤🍱🍛 y las bebidas🍺🍸🍹🍷 esta riquisima se los recomiendo”
“This Chinese supermarket offers great prices, making it a budget-friendly shopping destination. The variety of Asian products and ingredients is impressive, catering to diverse culinary needs. However, cleanliness is not their strong suit, as some areas may appear untidy or disorganized. Despite this drawback, the staff is helpful and the selection of items is vast. If you're willing to overlook the cleanliness aspect and focus on the affordability and availability of authentic Asian products, this supermarket is worth a visit for a cost-effective grocery shopping experience. ???”
“La comida es muy rika 🍤mi felicitaciones a los cocineros 🙏el ambiente es muy agradable y la sección del bar un espectacular servicio tanto como en todo el Restaurant”
“Jessica was a literal angel - we went in 9 minutes before close (yikes!) and she refused to except any of our apologies. Our food was out in literal minutes and we escaped ASAP so they could close. Service was amazing and the kitchen was bomb af. Definitely order the wonton tacos. 10/10”
“I drove in after work out of curiosity. Consider both my curiosity and my appetite absolutely satisfied. I will be eating here again and bringing my wife next time. Very friendly, large portions, food was pretty fast, and good for the price.”
“Great family owned business! Great customer service and delicious food! Party room service was terrific! Our guests loved the dinner!”
“excellent place, very good service, the shakes they sell are of very good quality, if you don't know anything about herbalife, I invite you to do some research, it can't do you more harm than coke, just use a little logic and empathy, remember it's a family business, support local trade...”
“I have been here on a business trip for a week and had dinner here 7 days in a row They have a great beer selection and great food selection Everyday another choice and all were excellent and great service Best pizza, great tasting soups,, hamburgers, pasta, seafood, breakfast. I had a veggie pizza with chicken, amazing. All great.”
“This evening, I ordered to go a Chile Relleno which is delicious, sadly it seems they were too busy, and forgot to include the chips, which I love too. To let them know about it, I ask for someone who speaks Spanish, this person spoke with me for a little while, and after I complained about the missing chips in the order, all of a sudden she asked me if I wanted to speak with the manager, I was surprised of this offer, but still I said, it was OK. Then the manager began speaking in English. I am writing this opinion for two reasons, the first one: I love the chips and I always want them in my order. And the second one: is to bring to your attention, the lack of respect to the Spanish speaking people visiting your restaurant, many of them choose you, because you speak Spanish there. I do not understand why? the girl had me speak with an English spoken manager, ( it sounded weird to me, since I did not request it) I thought, it was maybe because they did not want to be bothered, and they know that a limited english proficient person will not continue her/his complaint due to the language barrier. Please do not lower the standard of service with our Latino Families, we are your clients, pay the same and many times tip you more for a good service, we deserve an excellent service experience too. “Better soups that any day other restaurant, this is the restaurant which soup me and my husband agree is the best (preserved veggie pork rice noodles soup) super generous smoked duck! The green onion pancakes??! Delicious!!! Best of all apart from flavor is the price. This is hidden gem restaurant ?? Es mi restaurant chino favorito y mejor que cualquier otro restaurante caro en Southcenter Mall ☺️”
“Un gran ambiente y Muy buen Servicio si buscas comer rico y pasarla Bien. 100%Recomendados. 👏👏👏”
“Very well prepared Chinese food. Vegetables were not overcooked, still crisp and vibrant in color. Also not too much corn starch in the sauces. This is not American Chinese food..thank god”
“I enjoyed the variety of options of food at a great price. I definitely will be back.”
“My first time here, and it was great! I've been looking for cool mexican night clubs to go to and i think i just found one that i will be visiting often, i recomend it!”
“I am so full! Hot tea, followed by taro puffs (savory with a hint of sweetness, perfect crunch), fried garlic with eggplant (perfect amount of salt, I've never had douchi before, I ate a lot of them), Grandma's braised pork belly (omg it was like butter), Tsingtao lager, sesame coated red bean paste balls, and sichuan jelly (possibly called bingfen?), which is the cold dessert option. This place is awesome, definitely coming back to try the warm dessert and some seafood.”

“The food was so delicious. The resturant looked clean. The lady in front counter was really nice. I live far away, but I keep coming back to order more. I heard their chief has more than 20 years of experiences in teriyaki resturant and they use quality food for the customer.”

“Clean Safe inner city semi parking and fuel stop. 1 hr free. $25 for 24 hrs. Typical hot deli gas station style food and amenities. Get Doordash or Uber eats and they'll deliver to your parking space. I recommend the Asian food in this area. AWESOMENESS but plenty of choices.”
“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

“I love having breakfast here, the quiche is delicious as is there salmon omelet! I was driving by & thought I’d grab a large latte & got my husband a very small piece of pie. I handed the girl behind the counter a $20, she handed me back a $5. My coffee was $7.75, are you serious? That’s a bit much, I think. She kept my change with no inquiry to ask me if I had change because she said they had no change. Wild Wheat, you are in downtown Kent not a resort location. Please rethink your pricing.”
