Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

“Update: I am sad to say that because of the huge changes made to the menu by the new owner, I have to take a star away from my rating. The food has become under seasoned and sometimes the execution is poor. The quality is now inconsistent but broadly underwhelming, with old signature dishes having been removed or turned into something unrecognizable. It is nowhere near where it was three years ago when the founder ran the restaurant. I hope that they reconsider a lot of these changes so I can give the star back.

Not just the best Chinese food in the Pierce/King county area, but the best food. My wife is a Chinese expat and this is pure comfort food for her. Their food is authentic Chinese, the way I remember it from my time there in Henan, and on top of that, it's relatively cheap.

You know it's real Chinese when it's fresh, delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. We drive all the way from Tacoma to come here every time, at least twice a month. It's worth the trip not just because the food is so good, but also because the location is great -- we can do our shopping at Ranch 99 for cool Asian import groceries and other comforts from back home.

On top of all this, the service is warm, sincere, and efficient. My favorite place to eat, period.”

Ordered braised beef noodle soup and got it super fresh and hot. Noodles were perfect, the beef was tender, flavorful and thick.

There were some vegetables in there too, the broth was delicious and the portion was great for the price.

The lady gave me a bonus milk tea which was also good and not too sweet.

Overall it was an authentic dish and I will definitely try the other dishes next time.”

The atmosphere is perfect for the start of my workday, and the coffee is consistently good. I’ve been coming here for about a year, and the taste is steady day after day.

Kayla is an awesome person, and apparently she’s working on her comedy career. At least, that’s what I told her I was going to say. Just ask her for a dad joke and see what happens.

“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

“This week I went to Friday's to get chicken wings for my family for first time. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They helped me figure out how many chickens wings we needed for my large family. They were helpful in recommending the sauce to go with the wings. The food was prepared quickly. The mall is small and the place is on a corner so we almost missed this gem. Amira took care of us, she was very welcoming, from the moment we entered the place we wanted to stay. Great variety of options and the pastries and sandwiches looked delicious. We decided to order two lattes and an avocado toast. If you are around Kent, don’t miss Venus Cafe if you want a nice surprise.”

“I’m Mexican and in case you are not …there is a rule. When you go to a sitdown Mexican restaurant you don’t order street food unless you’re broke… and if you are broke, it’s OK no one will judge you. But this is a sitdown restaurant and I followed the rules.

I did not order street food. (Tacos/burritos/tortas/etc.)

I ordered a big plate of food. It was only $17 or something like that and it was a lot of food and I could not finish it. they give you the option of grilled chicken or roasted chicken. I went with grilled and it was pretty good and the salsa was spicy.

This is what they consider a working man’s place , to go and eat bigger sized plates for under $20. The problem with most places serving Mexican food is that they charge you over $20 per these types of plates.

If you are ordering street food from a place like this, and you are not broke then clearly you do not know what you are doing. lol

“When I still worked days, I would stop in almost daily for either breakfast or lunch ever since they opened. Their food is always delicious, and you can tell that it was made with care. I have never once had anything from their menu I didn't enjoy. The owner, Young, is such a kind and sweet individual. Always happy to greet everyone who comes through the door with a big smile and a warm welcome. Her son is also a great person. Carries the same energy, and they are always working very hard whether the order is big or small. I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only for the food, but also for the friendly and welcoming service.”
