The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“We found this hidden gem while in the area and decided to give it a try. We came in around 4:30 PM and had the place to ourselves. We ordered five dishes, Chicken Fried Rice, Black Pepper Short Ribs, Mongolian Chicken, and a garlic vegetable dish and a small wonton soup. Everything was flavorful and cooked well, not too greasy, except the short ribs which was just a tad oily.

The food was excellent overall, fresh and full of flavor. We’ll definitely come back when we’re in the area again. I’m giving it 4.5 stars, taking a half point off for the location and atmosphere. The area looks a bit dated and the interior could use some updating, but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the food or the friendly service.

If you care more about great food than fancy decor, this place is worth checking out.”

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

“The search is over. Our favorite Indian in Arlington is flooded and we don’t go up there anymore and are in Kent twice a month. Well this place was our third Indian restaurant in Kent that we tried and lo and behold they are perfect. We had butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, chicken biryani plan Nann and Chicken Tikka. Perfectly seasoned to our taste buds, just how we like it back home in the UK. This will be our Indian restaurant away from home when in Kent.”

I looked at reviews and photos and saw that this spot looked really good so I decided to go here for lunch today. I’m so glad I did, this will be my new go to spot. I came in and ordered Chicken Teriyaki to go, it also came with a free can of soda which was nice. The restaurant was clean and the service was very quick and friendly. The Chicken Teriyaki came with two scoops of rice and a salad. This is the best chicken teriyaki I’ve had in years, the chicken was grilled perfectly, the sauce on the chicken was just right, and the salad was fresh and super crisp. If you’re craving some good Teriyaki like how you once remember it being definitely check out Kim’s Teriyaki you won’t be disappointed.”

“I took out my nephews to dine here. This place is a hidden gem for burgers and shakes. My nephews enjoyed the kiddie meal burgers, which were quite big. Had friends in town who can’t eat gluten, and they wanted whatever I considered Seattles signature dish so I had to find them teriyaki. Called Himitsu and they kindly explained my options (all the teriyaki is gluten free, the fried rice CAN be if you specifically order it gluten free). When I picked up the food they were kind and friendly with a big smile.

The food itself was fantastic. Fried rice was excellent, and the teriyaki is of the less saucy variety. While the chicken didn’t have a lot of sauce it was well marinated and seasoned so it was very juicy and flavorful. Our favorite was the beef. It was thin, tender, and no unpleasant gristle to be found.

Our friends loved it and we now have an option we’d happily recommend to anyone, whether they can have gluten or not!”

“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

“Tried Seree for the first time last night. They really did a beautiful job transitioning the space from an old Sheree's restaurant to an upscale Thai restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was really delicious. We had crispy chicken wings, Salmon Choo Chee, Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and a delicious beef salad. Overall, I loved it but will expect to pay a little extra for the atmosphere and great food next time, as the prices are higher than the typical Thai restaurant.”

“I order takeout from here all the time, and I’m obsessed with their red chili oil — especially the diced rabbit and the red-oil dumplings and wontons.

I’ve seen mixed reviews — some say the chili oil is too much, others say it’s not enough. I’m guessing the ‘not enough’ reviews came after people complained it was too much, so maybe the chef adjusted it.

But honestly, it’s simple. If you want it lighter, just ask. If you want real Sichuan flavor like me, ask for extra — they nail it.

“I enjoyed kimchi pizza and bibimbap; the owner was kind enough to substitute tofu for chicken in my meal. The kimchi pizza was delicious, although I'm unsure if the kimchi contained fish sauce, as I forgot to ask, and am a vegetarian. Overall, it was a good experience; the bibimbap was satisfactory (3/5).”
