“the vibe inside is really homey. the price point is great. I was able to comfortably order a few things to try. I also think the portions were good. the duck ragu was very good. I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

“It’s nice to have a joint nearby with some Italian bite options since Italian is not as common here compared to elsewhere. Had the rigatoni with some wine and the other half had a type of spaghetti-puttanesca. I wish the wine was cheaper but it’s a quaint place with a nice atmosphere for a date near the Hill on 12th.“

“We love the service, food, and atmosphere. We enjoyed two of this evening’s specials, the Lobster Ravioli with prawns and the Ribeye, both were over the top. Fernando and the Head Chef were both off this evening and the staff and food were as great as if they had been there. They all take their part in the restaurant very much to heart and it shows. Thank you for making Renton your first of many locations to come. Cheers!“

“Family run (I think) and feel restaurant with good food and did not leave hungry. Total casual and easy to feel welcome. Home made food and daily specials. I got the feeling you could ask for alterations to meals and they would accommodate. Chef came out to make sure all was good and definitely knew the regulars. He treated everyone as a regular. Would recommend and will go back.“

“This was our first time dining in the restaurant. We had Rimini cater an event and that was fantastic, but this was another level of fun and community. The food was exceptional, the entertainment and bringing people together was so much fun. We are 30 plus year Kirkand residents and business owners and this was the most fun we’ve had downtown in a long time!“

“Charmingly tucked away in Pike Place Market's atrium, you might side-eye the lofty pasta prices for counter-style service, just like I did, until... BAM! You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. I did pass on the $14 wine pour because that's not right for lunch. That would get me a whole carafe in Italy.“

“La Fontana Siciliana: Belltown's Authentic Sicilian Gem Check my IG lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more pictures and videos of our dining experience. La Fontana Siciliana is a Belltown restaurant offering genuine Sicilian cuisine in a welcoming setting. This Italian eatery is perfect for intimate dinners or larger gatherings, including potential venues for small weddings or family celebrations. We enjoyed a recent meal there and had the pleasure of meeting Rodrigo, the owner who took over two and a half years ago. His passion for Sicilian food is evident in every dish. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, creating a versatile atmosphere. Our meal began with the flavorful melanzane a la parmigiana and a refreshing spinach soup. For our main course, we savored the tortellini cefalu, fettuccine ai funghi, and fettuccine al pesto, all cooked with high-quality ingredient were extremely delicious. The portions were generous, leaving us satisfied but not overly full. To finish, we indulged in the house-made tiramisu and limoncello panna cotta. The tiramisu was a particular standout, beautifully presented in a way that felt almost like a birthday surprise (and they didn’t know mine was just a few days away!). La Fontana Siciliana is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Sicilian food in Seattle. Its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service make it a Belltown favorite. We will definitely go back! 🤩“

“We had a meal here for our first time. It was an absolutely wonderful atmosphere and delicious! We ordered a margarita pizza, veggie pizza, eggplant parm, standard pasta and sauce, and more. All of it was fresh and made to perfection. The kids got some gelato and we packed a tiramisu to go- all of which were delicious as well. I highly recommend!“

“Our meal at Cinque Terre was amazing. That was seriously some of the best pesto I've ever had. My husband's boar pasta had plenty of meat in the sauce. The pasta was fresh. And they even had some good mocktails - as a non-drinker, I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to create drinks that make me feel welcomed. The atmosphere was peaceful - not too loud in any way. I would absolutely recommend this place“

“I don’t usually eat Italian out because I feel I do a good job at home. This place is way better than I can do. The menu/ordering process is a little challenging to figure out but worth the challenge. We’ve been twice and both times excellent. The salads are great, house made mozzarella with these sweet tomatoes and a balsamic reduction - so good! Tonight I had the gluten free pasta with mushrooms and white truffle oil, fried tofu, homemade sausage and ghost pepper oil. It was so freaking good! The atmosphere is fun as well, open, vibrant colors and Italian pop music. Welcome addition to Totem Lake.“

The food was fantastic, the drinks phenomenal and they really know how to make birthdays special without being over the top about it. We will be back and requesting Matthew as a server soon! Cannot recommend this place enough!“

“For a fantastic casual date night, look no further! The burrata cheese plate here is a masterpiece; the accompanying tomatoes are subtly pickled, offering a unique and irresistible tangy-sweet counterpoint. And the pistachio cream pasta? Pure indulgence—creamy, rich, and exquisitely balanced. Beyond the incredible food, the service is top-notch, rounding out a truly excellent experience.“

“One of the best meals you can have in Seattle. Everything was great from start to finish, living up to the hype. The big surprise was how good the wine pairings were and the sommelier was a star too. Cafe Juanita doesn't have the views of Canlis but the food is better. Take your girlfriend to Canlis and bring her to Cafe Juanita for a wedding anniversary.“

“Food was about average. we went here because pricing g and portions seemed reasonable. And it wasn't a tourist trap.... had a local home made feel.... antipasto was average. calamatta olives, prosciutto, and two types of salami with some pita with balsamic. We were disappointed because we initially ordered bruschetta, but they returned to the table and said they were sold out. We ordered a colognes sauce (pork and beef) with pasta that was aldente. we shared that, and a pizza with arugula, tomato, and prosciutto. The pizza crust was done well, but the pizza had little flavor. We sprinkled red pepper flakes to season it, and it worked well. But the overall texture was dry, and I think a sprinkling of a balsamic glaze on this dish would have been perfect. The desert was pistachio gelato. all I can say is that it was very good. They ship.it in from the New York / New Jersey area. The server's timing was perfect, and the owner came and chatted with us. The decor lacks a bit, except for one amazing neon sign, and be aware that the restaurant s8gn is not seen from the street. It is covered up by a tree. It's hard to see. All.in all, though we enjoyed ourselves, would say this didn't rise to the very good level. It was good. It's worth a visit if you want a more homey and less trendy Italian experience.“

“I have been actively avoiding this restaurant even though a lot of my friends swear by the food. The reason being is that they play LOUD music and I’m not a fan of blaring music while dining. I did try the restaurant yesterday as it was nice a a dry day so we sat outside and I’m glad to say they weren’t playing any music at all. The service was great and the food is good they make their own pasta in house and we got the salad which was perfectly seasoned even though they forgot the shrimp, we also had the antipasti and garlic bread with their o house dipping sauce. And I ended up getting the pasta in brown butter and cheese it was divine. Would I come back sure as long as they aren’t playing loud music I’m in“

“For over 20 years we have enjoyed every meal on the menu. They are the only restaurant that I know that make their own pastas, sauces, bread, and desserts. What a difference that makes. Everything is fresh tasting and satisfying. The meatballs are so light and tasty, eat them slowly to enjoy every bite. Not only are their pastas and pizzas delicious so are their appetizers. I love how they roast their eggplant and they serve it in an incredibly rich tomato sauce with Gorgonzola on the side. Their steak is cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce, a grilled pepper, onion, and their incredible handcut shoestring fries that are to die for!! Enjoy“

“I really like the pizza here. The crust is not too thick or to thin and the toppings are good.
Reminds me of a hometown pizza place called Campanas over on the Peninsula my folks used to take us too as kids. Toppings were just enough of everything and good flavor. The house red wine is really smooth, restaurant itself is a old Burien school Italian vibe. I will be getting pizza from here again. One of of my top 3. Prices are pretty decent as well.“
