“stumbled upon this place and it’s honestly a hidden gem. the broth is super clean but still has that deep beefy flavor without being too salty. i really like that there is no msg and they have gluten free options too, so it feels a lot healthier than other spots.
the beef was tender and they didn't skimp on the portions at all. noodles had a good chew and the herb plate they brought out was fresh and actually green, not wilted.
the owner is a gorgeous woman and the service is really good too. she makes you feel welcome and everything comes out fast. prices are totally fair for the bowl size. definitely a solid go-to spot if you're craving some comfort food“

“I liked the punk-rock vibe (which didn't overwhelm in the mid-afternoon) and the extensive all-vegan menu. The roast-beef and horseradish sandwich was delicious, and clearly prepared with intentionality. Lots of non-alcoholic drink alternatives on the menu too. Note: Sandwiches are in the $18 range. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. “2 years ago due to health I became a pescatarian and look for quality vegetarian, vegan options. Of the many things I miss at the top of the list was a good pepperoni pizza. I have tried all vegetarian, vegan versions. Last night my son and daughter-in-law brought me to MOTO. I ordered the vegan pepperoni pizza. The first bite made me literally want to cry. This was the best pepperoni pizza of ANY kind I have eaten in my considerably long life! Thank you Lee, Nancy, and the entire MOTO crew! I cannot possibly provide a high enough recommendation, this is the alpha and omega of pizza!“

The mint...yum!!), baba ganoush (with a smokey hint), hummus (so fresh!!), tabouli (best ive had in a long time! It was not overwhelming with parsley... super enjoyable. So good we got orders to go!), and the piyaz (a chilled white bean salad with ginger root, onion, tomato, EVOO, and garlic...so good we got orders to go!). Entrees we had the mesopotamian lamb and beef (the stew was so comforting..like a hug. The lamb was so tender!), and the lamb chops (love the rosemary and garlic!) “We frequently dine at Jak’s because it is consistently perfect. The food, staff and the atmosphere make the dining experience memorable. We had the pleasure of having Connor as our waiter. He is perfect. Professional and kind. Oh yes, extremely handsome too! Only one time did we experience an “off” night and Connor was our waiter. He turned it into a 5 star rating with his genuine kindness and professionalism. Also, I don’t recall the name of the nice man that helped Connor bring our food to the table. He was great as well. Because we are regulars at Jak’s, we have gotten to know and love the other team members there. Gaylynn, Tracy, Ani all stopped by our booth to say hello. Our friend that we brought had never been to Jak’s. He was so impressed with the warmth and friendliness of everyone. The food is totally 5 stars. I always order the pork chop. Some dishes were spicy and some were not but they all were delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful throughout the meal. We got there after 9 pm and had no problem getting a meal that late.
