“I used to come here almost every day when I worked across the river bridge in Fife, I would come when they had the two old guys back in the mid 2010's and their sushi is the greatest sushi in the world. I've never had better sushi in my life. It completely changed my perspective on sushi and they have always done an elite job on their products. “I was passing through town and needed to get a bite to eat. This place had good reviews so I thought I would try it. I have to admit when I pulled in the parking lot I was skeptical. I decided to try it anyway. When I walked in, I was pleased to see(and smell) the place was incredibly clean. I was seated by friendly staff right away. I got a bento box and a hand roll. “Easily one of the best teriyaki spots I’ve tried in Washington. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were generous. I especially loved that the teriyaki sauce was served warm — it’s a small detail, but it really elevated the whole meal.

The beef dish was amazing and probably my favorite. Tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about the quality of the food.

The bad: So the spring rolls were an absolute disappointment.

(Please not the photo is was taken after the rolls sat out overnight so the lettuce is brown and wilted. That part is no fault of the restaurant. The roll was fresh upon pickup)

Per the photo I opened up the wrap and it appears that a bag of lettuce was used to create the wrap. So ultimately The wrap consist of a handful of bag lettuce (the kind with the purple cabbage and thinly sliced carrots), some rice noodles and about two shrimp.

There was absolutely no flavor. I’m guessing because the ingredients were not freshly cut as far as the vegetation. I’m used to having fresh cut carrots, cucumber and lettuce in a FRESH spring rolls. The roll was bland and unfortunately the sauce it came with was also underwhelming

On the other hand the GOOD:

“Very small spot in the Albertsons parking lot near papa johns, prices were pretty consistent with all the other terriakki places around. They do have lunch specials till 3pm however they are a little more pricey then other spots. They also charge 50cent extra for each to go item ordered. You also cannot upcharge your steamed rice to fried rice on your meal. Meals do come with salad, even the lunch special meals but the dressing there is extremely thick so it impossible to pour over your salad (same consistency of sour cream). But the lady was nice and our food came quick! I would return again being so close to my work and home.“

“I had an excellent dining experience there the evening of 2-7-26 by myself! Jordan is amazing and went above and beyond to take care of me and often checked on me. Just what you would expect at a restaurant! Amazing clam chowder, and calamari. Prices seemed slightly high but were more than fair for the large portions! I will come back here! Everything about this location of EQC after the remodel is SO amazingly improved in so many ways! A+++“
