“Today we came to this restaurant for the first time without a reservation and they quickly found us a table, took our order and brought the food fast. We wanted to try one dish but it had pork, and our server Tukta kindly helped us choose another option and made sure the ingredients worked for us. She was very attentive, kept checking if everything was good and was smiling the whole time. It was really pleasant interacting with her. If we come back to this restaurant it will definitely be because of her hospitality. I truly felt like I was in Thailand.“

“First our waitress was to much in a hurry taking our order. Then brings us wrong food. When food arrives we sit and have no utensils. Had to ask a whole different waiter for service. Forgot several items and had to wait longer. The food was not good , I took one taste and ended up going to the bathroom to throw up. Either they had a major change or just was a bad day. Cuz I remember having a good meal a few years back when they opened.“

“A girlfriend and I met for breakfast at a different port orchard location. Despite the sign on the door displaying their hours as being open, the lights were on, the place was empty, and the doors were still locked. We left and decided to take a chance going to the family pancake house just up the street. Though it seemed early to me on a Saturday morning (9:15 am) the place was buzzing, there were bright eyes, smiling faces, and tables filling with people of all ages from small children to seniors. There was no wait, as the seating is plenty. Our server was a familiar, friendly face and we felt welcome to be there. The menu had many delicious options and was accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Everything about this place made me love Port Orchard that much more. And instead of leaving a poor review for the other restaurant, I felt compelled to leave a raving one here instead!“

When I arrived with my wife Sophia, we were hesitant because the restaurant appeared to be full. “This feels like a hidden gem? The food and service were good. We had complimentary hot tea, hard to enjoy on a warm day but welcomed. I ordered the garlic eggplant, water boiled fish, and one of the lamb dish that had onions. Everything came out so delicious and as I expected from previous sichuanese restaurant experiences. The food is served family style on a large plate with one serving spoon. It can be difficult to eat the food with chopsticks as it gets oily real quick but they provide a spoon upon request. I would love to come back as often as possible if I were closer. It's also pretty affordable for the amount of food received.“
