“Excellent flavor of Peruvian cuisine near the Sea-Tac airport with good service and very good prices within everyone's reach. Parking is a little restricted or uncomfortable, but the taste of the food and the good service compensates for that limitation.“

“I was there to pick up my food, and as always, the food was fantastic! I can always count on them for a delicious meal. However, I had a bit of a disappointing experience with the service this time.

When I arrived, the young lady at the counter seemed a bit off. There was no acknowledgment when I walked in, and when I asked her a question, she didn’t respond with any words—just handed my food to me. It felt a bit cold compared to the usually friendly atmosphere I’m used to there.

I hope this was just a one-time occurrence because I really enjoy their food and the vibe of the place. Looking forward to my next visit, and hopefully, the service will be as warm as the food!“

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)“

“I've grown up with Cave Man and have visited there many times in the past 30 years. I recently had some good friends from Baltimore here and I brought them to Cave Man. The food was outstanding as usual. The staff made a couple of recommendations for my friends which they loved (Dragon Wheels were a favorite). I had my personal favorite, the dinosaur poor boy. We ate there in the covered area outside. It was perfect to keep the October chill off of us, but still allowing us to be outdoors. It is relatively expensive, BUT, the quality of the food is worth the extra cost. Truth is, everything is more expensive too........“

“My first time here and the worker immediately greeted me. He opened up a large steamer and told me that he had just made them fresh. It was a stack of large tin containers all with pork ribs and rice rolls. I bought one and left as there's no seating that I saw. It was delicious. I would come back for more here for sure.“

We had small beef feast for 2 and all the meat was AMAZING. Bean paste was AMAZING. The staff was SO helpful and delightful. Very handsome guy helped our table. “My husband and I stumbled across this place in Federal Way. It was really good! I got a bbq chicken "mini" lunch plate and hubs got a cheeseburger combo. Portions were very generous. The chicken was really good and more than I could eat. Mine was chicken, rice, and Hawaiian macaroni salad. SO tasty! There was extra sauce, but it was so good it didn't need it. My husband's burger was nicely char grilled hand formed and big. Delicious crisp crinkle cut fries - More fries than he could eat and a soft drink - all for around $8.50! Mine was 10.00 or 11.00 (I think.) The place is not fancy at all but it was clean and pleasant, pretty much like a teriyaki place. The staff were all nice. Great Hawaiian plate lunch, great burger (so said hubs) great price. We'll be back. There are lots of other options to check out. I think it's a chain or a franchise but it was quality food.“

“We chose Ola Mae’s Southern Barbecue to cater our wedding a couple weeks ago in August and we would absolutely use them again!
The food was amazing! Our guests raved about it for days and still say it was the best pulled pork they’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and flavorful, no dried out food, like a lot of weddings tend to serve.
We went with a buffet style for about 130 guests and there was lots of options to please multiple dietary restrictions. We LOVED the salad and potato bar option, our vegetarian friends really appreciated the baked potato bar and said they were a fantastic and unique choice.
The only minor things that seemed to be missing was we wished there was some au jus for the prime rib (which was still delicious) and we had been looking forward to his sweet tea, but didn’t seem to get any beverages. I also wish that more had been saved aside for the bride and groom (especially since we were the ones who paid for it). It was nice that we had pre-dished up plates ready for us before the buffet line (which was great), but we weren’t able to get anything additional and we missed out on the appetizers since they started right after the ceremony. We had been looking forward to trying the deep fried catfish but never were able to. Everyone who got to try it, said it was amazing though!

Overall, Anthony was very communicative and went above and beyond leading up to the big day. He offered a ton of services, such as dishwear and linens, that made the day stress free and a breeze and everything was beautiful and so delicious! Absolutely helped to make our big day memorable.

My only complaints Is that we wished we had packed up left overs (if there even was any left) because we were craving his food later in the night and all the next day. We also wish he had a regular restaurant for us to frequent, because we crave his food still! It would be amazing if he had a “pop up” kitchen with pre-order services for us to pick up, I would absolutely sign up for a newsletter/email list and really hope that he offers pick-up options leading into the holidays!

Overall, I would absolutely recommend Ola Mae’s Southern Barbecue, and I will absolutely use them again for any future catering needs!“

“Sometimes a bad experience can turn into a great experience. I recently ordered online from Watershed FC and paid in full. Unfortunately, management forgot to update their website that they were closed that day. So, when I arrived to pick up my pizza, the doors were locked! I was frustrated. So, I wrote into the website and asked for a refund. By the time I got home (15 minutes), I received two emails and a phone call. They were deeply apologetic, and I could tell their reaction was genuine. They not only refunded me immediately, but they also gave me two free future pizzas, just to say they were sorry. The GM, Mike Mercer, is a class-act, and the employees are always accommodating and professional. It was nice to see people care about their customers! The food is great, too, btw. It's the best pizza around.“

“This is a take out restaurant inside a mall. There are two small tables on the side. But given that it's not a sit down place, nobody was keeping them clean.

We had the roasted pork (siu yuk), roasted duck, bbq pork (cha siu) and egg tarts. Food was cooked very nicely with tender meats and crispy skins. Flavors were really good although a little too salty. The lady taking our order was very nice (I guess it helps if you talk to them in Cantonese) and food came out fast. Will definitely buy food here again if I'm in the area.“

“We had the ginger chicken and house fried rice. This place is one of the only Chinese restaurant left in Beacon Hill. This says a lot considering this use to be a Chinese neighborhood. The food is classic Chinese American. We will definitely be going back to contributing to their preservation. The first time we had it was at a catered event. I’m glad we went back. “From its humble exterior you would be excused for passing by this place. However, the sweet, sweet scent of delicious meats will drag you right back to Jones BBQ. I will say, I waited for a minute, as it seemed like the restaurant was being run as a one woman operation, with the sweet lady behind the counter doing triple duty at the register, cooking in the kitchen, and unloading stock in the back. The food was out fast once orders got placed, however! I got one of the lunch specials, a plate of spicy pork ribs with a side of Mac n Cheese, and a dish of peach cobbler. The ribs, mildly spicy, lingered on my tongue, but the heat was put out by the creamy Mac and cool cobbler. Washed it all down with a Shasta. Excellent food, I just hope they get some extra hands so the operation runs smoother

“I went to this spot at Southcenter Mall with my boyfriend and had such a great experience! We ordered the bulgogi and galbi platters, and both were fantastic. The service was friendly. Honestly, I didn’t expect much since it’s in a food court, which is always busy, but this place exceeded my expectations.

The portions were generous for the price, and the flavors were so authentic. I especially loved their kimchi, it wasn’t overly sour or acidic and their macaroni salad was a nice touch. The bulgogi had the perfect amount of sweetness and was well-balanced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and this will definitely be our go to spot whenever we’re at the mall.

Also, the food court itself has plenty of seating. Even though I don’t usually like crowded places, they have some quieter seating options, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend checking this place out!“
